I hope you enjoy playing Xenolith! The starting password is `ILNIELLL`. Try going to the right when you start to find the first coin, and climb the rope to find an orb.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD58 → Xenolith

My passcode is LB4IOTLT
(That B might be an 8?)
Extremely cool concept, but I feel like 5 minutes is just a little too short for me to get my bearings.. How do people pickup where I left off? Do they start where I ended in the cave? If so, keep going right, there's going to be another coin.
I'm excited to see the result of other player's work, but I would like to be able to play again from a different passcode!
@drikdrok Thank you for playing! Everyone starts in the same place regardless of how far along they are, but they don't know where it is they need to go. As you saw, the game shows you the next objective when you run out of time, but perhaps I should have made it prioritise orbs over coins...
My passcode is BT4IETLL. Should have one of the gems in. The other coin is in the purple area below, but not all the way below. Interesting idea, never seen this before. <3
My son played and got alittle further. He as 3 gems and like 7 coins. (still need that yellow one to the right, he got it stuck and Mine got stuck in the depths in my run) His code is H749OTTL, he said, "My notes: get out of the yellow cave area by going up, left down, then go up to retrieve the yellow orb. make sure to throw it into the middle circle farther left"
I was hooked before I downloaded it, but then I got hit with that opening sound blast and wow, brilliant stuff! I picked up from where @commanderstitch left off (before his son did more, so his first password) got to four orbs and 12 coins in a run -> it showed me a coin directly below the orb machine screen. My code for the next hero is I7XHSTTT.
Honestly a brilliant idea all around, makes think a bit about Animal Well's community stuff. Here though the loop is tight, and explicit and I loved every second of it. I'll finish it off later but wow, the idea, visuals, and sound are all top notch!
Thank you both @commanderstitch and @threeli, thanks to your combined effort I found the missing three coins & reached the end! Victory.png Anyway, this is such an awesome concept! I love this sort of games where you can't replay it & have to leave with your mistakes (or in my case, victory). It also works great as an LD entry using the comments as the community! I feel like you underestimated us though since we beat it before the Jam was even over :)
It does make it a bit hard to judge the game itself since uh, I only collected 3 coins & zero orbs and can't replay the game now. But the concept, graphics and SFX were all great! Overall definitely experimental, but it paid off I think!
Wow what a sick concept! I kind of messed up by taking the first code I saw instead of reading down through the comments a bit. Visuals and SFX were awesome, I could feel the quality as soon as the game loaded. Absolutely love the idea though.
Absolutely awesome concept! I really like the idea of collaborative puzzle solving. I started from the very beginning, if someone wants to continue from here, BT4IOLLL is the passcode.
By the way, I guess this shouldn' be happening? Näyttökuva 2025-10-06 111737.png

My code is T84IOLLT, there's a pink gem in the left(see the picture above) and a orange gem in the right.
It took me about 30s to figure out how to jump, 2 minutes to figure out what to do, and 5 minutes seems too short.
All in all, it's a really cool idea!
My passcode is 9HN5TTT. I collect four gems.
@frogman @commanderstitch we did it!
@threeli, so neat! was a nice idea. I thought about it way longer than I should. Neeeeet
This game (and concept) is super cool!
It reminds me of retro NES games and such that predated savefiles and used "passwords" too.
It's a great concept, and the art is good too. Keep up the good work :]
If it's still relevant, my password is TI2H5TTT: 4 spheres, 13 coins. Next coin is the leftmost one.
I'm speechless at what a genius concept this is for a jam. Excellent game!

Well I didn't have much left to do but here you are :) I'll start a new game!
EDIT: Nevermind I'm dumb the game can't be played a second time haha
EDIT2: I found a way to play it a second time actually, and I probably soft locked the game with one orb, or I missed something. Also, took me while to understand how to pick up an orb :P But otherwise it's a pretty impressive concept, well done!
I couldn't play it. I tried to enter the code TI2H5TTT from @torte478 but couldn't enter the key '5' for whatever reason.
Too bad, the concept is very interesting.
I liked the idea. I wish it had a web version.
The concept is very original and the game is well made, but I didn’t find the jump button right away and wasn’t sure where to go. I lost a bit of time — a pity for a 5-minute game you can only play once. Still, I only had two pieces left and managed to finish the level (with two other people). Nice job on the uncommon asynchronous gameplay!
Hey, played your game. Really liked it. The retro vibe reminds me of the good old Spectrum games. The main idea with serializing Game State into a password - just awesome. Never seen anything like that before. Great concept and brilliant execution.
The art is amazing!.
@torte478 Thanks for the code and initial work :D I just needed to collect 2 coins and finish. Really cool concept and well executed. Also enjoyed a lot the art style.
Quite a simple yet genius concept. With a little more work with the concept of code sharing, I'm sure this can evolve into a mystery solving game involving the community.
