Simple, well put-together, and very cute. Great combination of graphics and audio to set a lighthearted mood!

Simple, well put-together, and very cute. Great combination of graphics and audio to set a lighthearted mood!
A really solid dungeon crawler implementation. Art was crisp and clear, and the enemies+traps kept me on my toes for the first few floors. Unfortunately I couldn't get past floor 6 or 7 due to the game freezing! (Win/Chrome)
The graphics are excellent - really help to nail the mood and theme of the game. Controls and mechanics were spot on.
Lasted a fair bit before feeling overwhelmed by the large number of enemies and not being able to do too much about them. Really well done!
Very well-implemented; the game played quickly and beautifully, and was a very interesting concept.
I found the theme to be a little bit of a hindrance in understanding the game -- I wasn't really sure why gems were being re-mined, why the sources tiles don't get included, or indeed where the gnomes were. Certainly a game I'll enjoy coming back to, though.
A nice calm, relaxing game. The theme really tied everything together to make a complete experience.
Would have liked to have the pace increase a little faster with time. Great game!
Had a lot of fun once I figured out the "#/color" mechanic. The different themes were a little jarring in the overall presentation. Just wish I could have continued after losing a level instead of having to start back from the beginning!
The mood and theme here are excellent. Everything ties together in a simple and elegant fashion to evoke the experience of a fall day in the woods. It left me wanting more.
I would have liked for the 'skip' sound effect to better match the ambient sound, though, as it took me a little 'out of the zone'.
I really like the theme and the idea behind the mechanics. Loading got stuck on Chrome but was fine on Firefox.
The game was also too hard for me -- too many enemies that I didn't really have enough time to get used to the controls and how to switch between spirit animals. Would have liked to been able to dive in a little bit more, but I could never get very far!
I really like the use of theme and the feeling of being, well, overwhelmed. Definitely increases the tension over time. Have to agree with others about the audio -- felt like it took me a little out of the experience.
Nice theme to tie everything together! Overall a solid, enjoyable experience. Found the camera panning to be a little disorienting at times.
I like the mechanics, and the graphics are a nice implementation that meshes well with the audio to create a nice mood. I agree with the controls being floaty, perhaps moreso based on what we're accustomed to. Would have liked to seen more!
Why do drills love citrus fruit? I may never find out. Nonetheless I had a great time playing this. The mechanic was interesting, the levels well-designed and thought-provoking, with a nice progression curve -- until I got stuck on one level!
The concept is great, and the projection really helps you to see 'beneath the surface' in an effective and unobtrusive way. Would have liked to have seen the full concept!
I really like the idea of stretching out a boss battle into a game. I really wanted to see what the moon was made of! Alas, I couldn't make it past the ice moon.
I had a little difficulty with the controls, particularly bounding off the side of the screen. I found it a little hard to control my speed.
Controls take a little getting used to, especially once the iceberg gets quite small. I liked the tradeoff between ship size and melting speed. However, I couldn't really tell how much the small ships were increasing my lifespan so it seemed to make the most sense to beeline south.
The theme and mechanics were truly new and surprising -- something I truly appreciated about this game.
There's a lot of content here, and it's very well presented. I would have liked a slightly sharper difficulty curve, personally, but the curve as it stands is still great.
Very well done!
Excellent level of polish, particularly with the interface. The addition of enemies, blocked tiles, and spells adds interest and flavour to an already-solid base game.
I liked the subtlety of these changes, and felt that the balancing on "Normal" was generally pretty good. Difficult enough that I needed to pay attention to what I was doing, but not so hard that I lost interest.
An all-around excellent effort for such a small amount of time.
I love the concept; you've made great use of the theme. But after ~50 dead, I found things became much more guesswork. Perhaps having unique colours, so that people can be tracked more easily as you're trying to extrapolate where the original infector could have gone, would allow for a more structured approach.
But I still saved 76 humans, not bad for a day's work!
Alone in the chatroom, I feel like I missed out a lot of the potential of this game. Nevertheless, you really nailed the ending theme -- only game to get me to actually laugh so far!
Not always sure what I was doing but the music was a surprisingly good fit!
Graphics and music really helped to establish place & mood, tying together nicely with the theme. Nice!
Excellent job with humour and mood, set with just the right amount of text.
Very innovative, great build-up of mood. Seems like I could leave the screen area as the disk, which made it hard to follow. Great idea!
Nice variety of graphics! I agree with the above, though, really enjoyed the zombie switch but a little change in mechanics there would have been nice.
Great idea, but couldn't figure out how to place gravity in the LD version. Nice progression to the finished version though!
Excellent idea, but I felt that things should have kicked in a bit sooner. Got bored after a few trips and only re-played after reading the comments!
Great background art, and excellent use and integration of the theme!
Would have really enjoyed to see what you'd have made with time to polish up the combat.
Nice tower-defence game -- I really liked the screen being revealed as the waves went on. Very well done!
Not sure if it's just me but I couldn't see the tooltip for the 2nd tower type. Figured it out pretty quickly though!
Like the others, great music. Found the rotation a little "clunky" too, but that's all part of the challenge!
Short, sweet, fun to figure out. Excellent way to package your idea!
Excellent job of creating mood and tying everything in with the theme. Very charming! Wish the first level was easier (even with the hint)!
Really liked how the background emphasized the "Hell" in "Bullet Hell". Like others, would have liked a bit of audio and a little less of a difficulty jump! Those turrets are hard to avoid!
I almost went with a screen door theme, but couldn't think of a good place to bring it. But you did! Excellent job, I found this game actually really funny, mostly the choice of sound.
Fantastic entry. Fun, replayable, with great mood.
The banner idea is really engaging and only suffers a little bit from being a little bit small on the screen.
One of the games I'll look forward to coming back to!
Really impressed you were able to make a level editor! Enjoyed some of the puzzles, wish you had time to maker more! Cute music.
This is really cute - especially the audio, it really brings everything together. Clicking on the blood-pool to restart is really a nice macabre touch.
Some of the letters (like e, t , s) look quite similar because most of the thumb position is obscured by the shadow. You'll really need to study those carefully before rounds where they appear together in order to tell the difference!
I'll see if I can't put together another version with non-silhouetted signs for those who want a more direct sign-language experience!
Very solid entry. The decision to add in the hitboxes was excellent - turned what could have been a frustrating game into a tough but fair, thoughtful one!
Very hard but I immediately got better at it -- that's an excellent job for a game made in such a small time. Great game, the color choice is really in-your-face, but I think that's really important. Would have liked a little audio to go along with it!
Also really liked the fish-eye effect, excellent way to pack in "more space" onto the screen! Had a little difficulty with the controls, would have liked to have been able to right-click without the browser menu coming up.
Nice lighting, particle effects, and variety of enemies!
Unexpectedly funny! A nice fun romp.
Fantastic concept and execution.
Really enjoying the art style and wish you could've had more time to take this further!
Great game, attention to theme detail, and well done pulling off a multiplayer game nicely. I did find the flat-colour shading a little confusing because I didn't really know what physics to expect, which made steering often unintuitive.
Thanks for all the feedback!
I've just had time to track down and fix the star-inside-circle bug -- it should register properly now.
I did try to take the theme in a different direction: you're playing as monsters in broken-up-constellation star form, trying to re-create your image in the night sky.
Nice, unique idea that's cleanly executed. Wouldn't mind an increase in difficulty over time!
Cute game, but the hitbox detection was a little hit-and-miss. Great voice effects!
Great mood, story, and atmosphere. I do wish there was a little more interaction though!
I like the simple and elegant way you added some visual interest and motion to a choose-your-own-adventure!
Nice use of humour and tying in the setting for the tutorial. I've ... I've got to climb the rope.
Excellent job setting the mood!
Cute game and great audio! Found clicking the 'food' at the bottom didn't always take -- and missing one spells the end of the game!
I really like the animations! Very frantic action, but the layout was a little confusing at times, especially since the camera is relatively zoomed in.
Great sound, great concept, lots of fun!
Would be interested to see a non-grid-based version!
I really like the idea, but I started on a corner island with 6 sheep, no fences, no bridges, and no idea how to do anything else! Would have liked to have seen the rest of the gameplay.
Excellent music! Gameplay was fun but I found it a little difficult to figure out what was going on initially.
Interesting idea! It's a little frustrating not having control of the character ... but it helps make the point!
Cute fruit! The lighting is pretty interesting, too!
Just an excellently crafted mood and great story.
Really excellent production (tiny text aside)! It took me a minute to realize my spawned units were in the bottom corner!
I really like the concept! It would be helpful to have a little more information on how to keep my health up without growing in size too much.
Excellent mechanics and tie-in to the theme. Very fun!
I really like the interpretation of the theme and the tension created when choosing to change your monster. Perhaps with faster gameplay and a few tweaks this could make a great 'herding' simulator / puzzle game.
Very cute graphics and sound, fun, quick and engaging gameplay. Well done!
