Learn with Babafounini by Nicso 2018-04-24T14:32:45Z
Really nice art and sound! Sadly, though, when I got to the horror part Babafounini's dialog looped endlessly and I couldn't move, so I wasn't able to progress farther.

Really nice! It took me a couple loops to realize I needed to buy the hammer and another loop to save up for it, but the wizard soon fell to the man who could not stop, and could not be stopped.
It's really more of a memory game than a strategy game
This game is very pretty, and it works well on android. I like it!
It's really annoying when the spaceships are at the bottom of the screen, as you can't shoot them without running into them. I like the edutainment aspect, though.
I was definitely feeling pretty claustrophobic by the end there
Really lovely!
This game is adorable! The android controls don't always seem to register the horizontal movement when I try to move and jump at the same time though
The 2nd player in coop mode has a bit of an unfair advantage, since he can see what the first player is has done / will do. It's fun, though, and I like the concept.
I got 5940 points. Trying to get rid of the enemies while minimizing damage taken was an interesting challenge, and it worked very well on mobile.
Neat!
I can not type fast enough for this game. It's still fun, though!
Shortforms for the commands would also save typing, eg "go r" for "go right".
Also, I would love to see more advanced platforming with a timing aspect, such as jumping when a moving platform is near, just to see how far the concept can go.
I really like the retro 3d graphics, and using the power light as a health indicator is very clever. I did find it hard to judge how far away enemies and projectiles are, but a good game overall.
It's neat holding my phone flat and watching everything drift around
I'm getting a 404 when I try to visit the itch.io page
Yay, the links work. Cool game, although I haven't been able to get very far because I keep running into a bug where sometimes I kill all the fish in the shooting mode, and it never switches back to the fishing mode. Maybe there's some rogue fish getting caught in the level geometry or something.
I like the ascii art! I'm finding the tilt-based movement tricky, though. An alternate control method would have been nice. Also, I'm not really sure this counts as "turn based".
@Kanishka_Dev Hey, just because it's text doesn't mean it isn't art 😛
@Kanishka_Dev I got the pun, yes :)
The controls work okay on mobile, and I like the idea. I love the cat sprite - I named him Fred. It would be nice to be able to interact more directly with your pet, though, and the platforming is pretty dull once you beat the only level.
(P.S. Rate other people's games to get more ratings!)
I don't have anyone handy to play against at the moment, but I have to say, finding myself was a lot harder than I thought it'd be
This game is extremely pretty, but there isn't very much to do other than wander around - especially since the enemies are so slow that they never catch up if I just keep walking.
I'm like a parent, I ended up staying in the mansion following ghosts around and cleaning up behind them. I did find you had to click a bit above where you want a tile in order to place it, which was a bit unintuitive.
Lovely art, relaxing gameplay. I didn't have anyone handy to play with, but I'll have to try playing with my girlfriend the next time I see her. I will, however, maintain that "thiiis much" is a perfectly non-awkward answer to "tell me how much you love me".
@Rebecca Kremer I'm afraid I won't see her in person again until mid-may 🙁
@biobazard Good idea :)
@the_noffs My nephew did the music, too. I'll let him know you liked it. :)
@abductedPlatypus It took a bit of tuning to get it to handle that many cubes... I also got a boost by using a particle system for rendering instead of individual mesh renderers
The best metrodvania-style golf game I've even played! I found it a confusing trying to tell which way slopes sloped though, maybe arrows or some other sort of directional pattern in the grass would help?
