A little too dark, but I loved everything else. :)

A little too dark, but I loved everything else. :)
Played the Itch.io version. Love the concept! I was playing for a couple of minutes, and when I tried to leave #1 it gave me an error about excess vertices not being supported.
I loved the audio! Perfect addition. I know the lights went out periodically to keep the game a certain length, but I would have liked some way to trigger the lights. Maybe a puzzle, or something, to feel like I'm the one responsible for planning everything. Overall, great work!
Platforming is a little floaty, and I wasn't exactly sure what the difference between jumping and grabbing was. Having jump and attack on two separate buttons could help. But very nice otherwise, nice Rampage twist.
Really like this. View switching is a little annoying at first, but makes sense once you get used to it. Really good atmosphere. I actually jumped when one got away. Great job. :)
I really enjoyed this... I may be reading too much into it, but with all the violence that's being featured in the media right now, I loved exploring this idea of how we're conditioned to "Kill them before they kill us/me" in video games, especially those of us who play a lot of FPSs. I'm not making a statement about violence in video games, but I appreciated that the game made me think about the fact that I immediately responded by shooting rather than dodging, and what that said about me and my relationship to video game interactions.
Interesting game :) Reminds me of You Must Destroy the Tower.
I liked the introduction and cutscene. The tutorial was a little hard for me to follow, and the game itself was really hard. XD I can see myself spending hours trying to figure everything out. I think the text font was a little hard to read, which might have contributed to the confusion. Great work overall. :)
Like the idea, good sound effects. I found it a little difficult to avoid the bullets because of the angle; wasn't sure when I was out of a bullet's path. I also felt like my stomp was a little underpowered. The sound effects was great but I could only stomp on one, maybe two pawns at a time, and that proved frustrating. Maybe have the stomp extend just a little around the character. Overall though, I loved the idea! I'd like to see it back again in some form. Great job!
I love it! Great art style, physics, and puzzles. I can see this as a very fun mobile game if ported correctly. Excellent work. :)
This reminded me a lot of the Yoshi sacrifices in Super Mario World. Love it! It's a great little game with a fantastic art style, and I enjoyed the puzzle elements. Overall, excellent job.
I have absolutely no problems with this. Extremely polished and excellent graphics, fun gameplay, upgradeable spells, humor! I loved the Promotion screen, made me laugh every time. This definitely has the rock solid foundation of an excellent indie game. Perfect score!
I really, really love this game. I think the concept is fantastic, and I love the way you solved the AI vs. Player input problem. Graphics are great, and the path arrows make it easy to visualize what's going to happen next. My only complaints are that it's really short (I want more! >:|) and that it's hard to remember which ghost does what at times. I get that this could be part of the challenge, but maybe an optional toggle that shows a little pop up with a short description of what each ghost does. Overall, I loved this game, and it's really polished. Great work. :)
Quite nice! I liked the old slasher vibe. Dev Console Exceptions kept popping up for me, made it a little harder to play the game. I loved the inclusion of Commando-like vision cones, made it easier to hide. Overall, great!
Really liked the twist at the end. Great work!
Love it! Very good graphics, excellent throwback music, fun to watch the gory effects. My only complain is that the controls are a little weird. I don't understand why I can't simply rotate the shark by tiny taps of the keyboard rather than having him rotate by set degrees. This made it a lot tougher for me to aim at people to eat, resulting in mindless thrashing back and forth while I tried to get at them. Other than that, great fun!
I was really looking forward to playing this, but whenever I go to the web page, the unity player loading bar fills up and then stays there without starting the game. Am I just impatient?
I liked it! I would say my only complaint is that the monster is so big that it becomes pretty hard to dodge stuff without some form of escape or reprieve (I know this is a part of the challenge, but it's also important to give the player a sense he could have escaped had he been more skilled). Maybe a short immunity power-up, or upgrading a health regen factor? Either way, I like it and it has a lot of potential. :)
Not bad. I liked the inevitability of using the hammer to smash the works of art. The jerky movement was a little jarring, but it works to the game's advantage. Good work :)
I really enjoyed the Mirror's Edge/Dishonored mix. Art and music is good, level design and puzzles get harder and introduce new elements, it's very well done. My only criticism would be that the platforming/movement feels a little floaty and heavy; Instead of being light on my feet, I feel slow and lumbering and imprecise, which doesn't really help in a platformer. Also, I think some sort of timer would help out with figuring out exactly when I can teleport again. But overall: Good job! :)
The time limit is offputting. I understand the idea, but having such a large time limit without a very good addiction machine behind it just makes me forget about the game before I come round to playing it again. I love the random stats, though. I was looking forward to what they would do.
I like where this idea is headed. As it stands, it is definitely more of a game jam game. That being said, I really dig the half old school vibe and simplicity. If anything, I'd say this would be great to turn into a pseudo Atari 2600 game with all the retro boops and beeps. Good job. :)
I really loved the art style, fantastic all around. Slopes had me a bit confused, I'd say just implement walking up slopes. The double jump was fine, but your platforms require the player to use every last inch of jump height (At least with Dracula), leaving very little room for error and making it more frustrating than it has to be. Also make the intro skippable. Other than that, great fun! :)
For some reason the Dropbox link is broken for me.
Fantastic game. I enjoyed the concept, the art was top notch, audio fit perfectly. It was pretty much perfect, I can't think of anything I didn't enjoy. Five stars all the way. :)
I like this concept a lot, and the game over all is good and creepy, but the controls are really wonky. It's unclear how the bullet responds to mouse input, because it seems to change every second. I would suggest either binding the bullet's left and right rotation to two separate keys (Q and E, etc.) or bind the mouse tracking the same way: moving the mouse in the left half circle will rotate one way, right half circle the other.
I loved this idea of sabotage; destruction is always fun. Audio was extremely low. I didn't realize it was there for a good long while. Loved the little story bubbles. Overall, great job.
Really well executed! Loved the whole vibe and style.
I liked this entry a lot! Loved being able to simply crush everything in my path. xD Graphics were excellent, and gameplay was nice and fast-paced. My only complaint is that there's no way (That I could find, anyway) to destroy the tanks and helicopters. Stealth bomber? Love it, makes sense. I just wish I could harm the other two. Maybe a jumping attack, or something? I would expect it to be much more difficult to accomplish, but it would be nice to be able to get rid of them. Really nice job, guys. :)
Really good idea, I enjoyed floating around and once I figured out how to move the tentacles, the battle system was fun to play around with. Loved the Match.com/Tinder angle.
I've got to say, this is one of my favorite laugh out loud moments this LD so far. I love this idea and its execution; the voxel graphics are charming and well done, audio is excellent, gameplay is solid. Really fun to play. :)
I really liked this one. Graphics and audio were excellent, and I had a wonderful time seeing everything go up in smoke. xD I'd love to see more! With upgrade, or different forms, as the dragon says in the end. Great stuff!
Loved the graphics on this one! Murder scenes were excellent. It was very hard to tell how to exit the park; moving the orange marker off the orange tape would help. Overall, loved the buildup. Good work!
Really excellent, I loved the cave painting style and the narration, especially when the mammoth lost all her children. Excellent work. Simple and effective.
Nice, compact little game. I liked how stock encounters and actions in most RPGs were assigned a penalty! My only complaint is that the combat system is good for little periods of time, but doesn't lend itself to long stretches. It also doesn't provide any feedback on how you're doing vs the monster, like (Can't believe I'm saying this) Mystic Quest's degenerating monster sprites. But overall an excellent adventure. I wonder how the hero will stop the aliens now...?
@KaiseanGames Link works, and I rated. Nice game. :)
As for the devil thing, it kind of attached itself to the whole Wild West theme (Outplaying the Devil on a fiddle and whatnot). I don't think I have an obsession with it, but I see your point. :) Thanks for the feedback!
@Shaun LeBron Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Thanks for bringing the doc to my attention! I thought it was shared, but apparently even though it's in a shareable folder, that visibility doesn't apply to it. I've uploaded a Word document which should be visible.
Love the minimalist style and the bullet hell spin. :) Story was good too. Ship could be a tad faster for avoiding stuff, though. Overall, good job!
Couldn't seem to hit the enemies consistently, the attack range/hit animations were unclear.
Good job! It was fun seeing the snake twist up and down according to what you did; I realized I was creating my own obstacles. xD Overall good job. :)
Really nice little game. Great graphics and retro style, cute story, and well polished, layered game mechanics. Excellent work!
