Controls stop working immediately after landing :( I can move and shoot whilst falling down and that's it
Wow, that was very nice!
Could have used some polishing here and there, but other than that, WELL DONE!
This was fairly entertaining... despite a few design flaws that I noticed... having the player have to wait such a long time after dying in order to restart was not a good idea(I mean, just 1 or 2 seconds of watching the player bleed should be enough)... also the dialogue at the beginning should be skippable. The platform engine worked well, despite the fact that it was a little bit glitchy in some places(like the tight gaps and stuff). The ending was quite amusing.
I liked the idea of moral choice where the right choice is also harder. But I didn't enjoy the controls, they were too slipery and unresponsive and the graphics could be better.
The multiple uses for the weapon is a nice touch to this platformer to separate it from many. Had slight problems with the sliding of the character after landing, which made precise jumps difficult.
That's a nice entry! I really loved the music. It was great to listen to before playing! The idea with the recoil was great too! Just was a little shocked after my first use of the fire button! Nice game!
I can't seem to play. The text appears half cut on the left side of the screen in the intro, and once it's completed, clicking, pressing WASD, Space or Enter did nothing. Only Escape made me jump back to the title screen.
Controls were a bit weird but once you got them down it wasn't too bad. The music and sound effects were nice and the gameplay was pretty good. Overall I enjoyed it!
Making the player work for the good ending? Nice. The platforming was rather odd, though, and I died a lot unnecessarily. Still, great game!
Seems fun, but with these physics it's also SUPER HARD. I couldn't get to 2nd checkpoint even )-8
It's a interesting platforms game. The controls are a bit rough, but the game design is good. The tutorial, the physics. Everything works. It has room to improve.. the you know, its time to work ;-)
hehe nice idea and art style.Great music. And hard game!I am a monster! >:)
I don't like very much the physics... or, it would be better to you ice as a ground, because it feels like walking on ice. Other than that it's great. I love that you need to use your weapon in order to jump long distances. Nice music. Great work!
Interesting concept with a nice gameplay idea. The movement really ruined the experience for me - the controls were much to slippery for a platformer.
Nice little platformer :)
Got stuck on the floor the first time, but after a reload it seemed to work fine again.
I like the realistic fun sounds!
Played the original version, so not sure if it's been updated since, but there are some serious control issues. Jumping is unresponsive and very floaty, and the friction amounts make moving a chore. Really need to nail those elements in a platformer.
That said, I was really impressed by the level design, and the novel use of the guns recoil to reach far away platforms. It's a shame it was so hard to control, but I struggled through the more difficult route and got the good ending and felt quite satisfied. Very cool to make two endings with a good take on the theme.
With tighter controls and physics this would be a great entry! Lots of good ideas in there. Thanks!
Using the gun recoil to jump farther ... genius!
I did not kill the monsters ... but the other way was shitting from the first jump!
I would have done if there was a checkpoint just before. :D
Movements can be improved, there is really too much inertia, and a too light jump / gravity report which gives too light and slow hopping!
Without touching the system, it would have been more effective with a level design allowing more freedom to jumps. The ceilings are a little annoying in the LD. :)
Liked the too-much dramatic effect on monsters. :D
Good game!
