Build for GNU/Linux work using wine.
The game is very short and the physics is strange : it is hard to figure out where the character will fall back when jumping.
Nice graphics though.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD36 → The Shattered Beacon

Nice graphics though.
Nice flip animation on changing sides, try put some audio next time, good work for 24h.
I love the jump animation, looks like he's trying to flap his arms to get a little extra boost. Well done on the beacon animation also!
Love the flip animation, reminded me of Paper Mario. Game was fairly short but considering you were short on time, it was decent. Nice work!
Seems like you spent a lot of time on the animation of the artifact and the character instead of the whole game. It has promise, if you continue to make more content for it and iron out the kinks.
Good Art for 24 hours. Next time perhaps more time for gameplay.
I thought the object of the game was to find beacon pieces and assemble them together, but instead I found the beacon only to watch it fly apart after a few seconds. I seemed to be stuck while this was happening.
The levels are not particularly challenging or interesting, but I did like that hitting the spikes didn't cause instant death, and only seemed to knock me back.
With a lot of work this could be turned into something decent. Keep at it!
Visually appealing, but extremely short. It felt more like a test animation than a game, but it's definitely got potential. If you're going to end it so suddenly, perhaps add a little something to tell the player that, since the restart button didn't quite drive it home for me sadly.
We played your game on stream too: https://www.twitch.tv/cantgetourname/v/89523218
There had been some problems with the ground collision for me sometimes. I would like to see more levels and challenges. Good job
