this is a really fun and challenging puzzle game! nice work!
Very solid puzzle game. From the first level I was engaged by the enemy diversity.
Awesome game! Played it all the way through, and the map maker was a very good addition!
I really had to use my brain on this one. Well done! And I love the simple graphics. Works perfectly with this game.
I had a hard time figuring out how the enemies worked. Would be nice with a little "helper" that described how the enemies behaved. Or maybe it's just me being too stupid to figure it out on my own x)
I like it, good idea and nice game play!
Thank you very much for this game! You should make a mobile version. This game is challenging (for dumb me) and make brain work! Saved source code, will try it until every level will be completed!
I got stuck on level 7. X3
Here is an idea, maybe you could change the player's patterns for different levels. :D
Really fun and challenging, really made me have to thing at times!
Wow this is awesome, chess players will love this game!!
The level editor puts this over the top
Absolutely loved the game, feels like playing a chess, but entertaining one with cool animations
Level 7 broke me
A really fun puzzle game! I wish I could say more about it, but I can't really see any glaring flaws at all. Well done!
Wow. Really cool concept. Makes my head hurt. Got to level 8, but couldn't beat it. I like games of perfect information like this.
Really nice game. It does indeed remind of of Hoplite.
I just think there is too much "running after enemies until they hit a wall".
Very nice game, some difficult puzzles, great work
I really like Hoplite, and I really liked this too. :D
The link is down: "Cannot GET /ld37/"
Apologies, I was doing some maintenance on my site.
Great little game! Some background music would have been a nice touch.
Really fun game! I enjoyed playing it a lot! GJ
Very nice game! Keep it up!
The best game I've played so far! Puzzles are challenging but not frustrating. Nice graphics and retro sound. Glad you add map maker!
Cool!
I love the map maker, the simple but efficient gameplay and the retro graphics.
Good work!
I really enjoyed this.
Tricky game! Had fun playing it! Well done! :)
Fun that you were able to make so much content and variation with so little game mechanics! I thought that level 7 was a lot harder than level 8.
Awsome game buddy xD. I like the fact that you developed a map maker keep it up
Very cool, I've played Hoplite and I think you've translated the mechanics pretty well here. Of course some power ups or different abilities would spice things up, but for 48 hours this is very solid. Nice retro sound effects too!
Managed to get up to level 2 but that was a pretty fun roguelike/puzzle game.
Fun, stripped down puzzle strategy, never played or heard of hoplite so I don't know how original this is, but its certainly fun and well put together either way.
Thanks for this game! Really enjoyed playing through it - the aesthetic felt consistent and it matched up well with the music.
Took me a couple tries, but I beat level 8.
I hope you keep working on this, there's a lot of potential here!
This is a very cool puzzle game. The graphics and audio style are very consistent, and make this is a very solid entry.
Great, this is a really addictive game
Nice idea and like these pixelate sprites. Well done!
One of the simplest yet most satisfying to play entries in this Ludum Dare. Everything worked smoothly, and level design was nice. The only thing that felt a bit out of place was the audio, but that might just be personal taste :P
Great job! ^-^
Very nice puzzler concept with decent graphics too. Well done.
I'm reminded a lot of Nitrome's Rust Bucket, but the stakes seem to be higher - for instance, an attack can span over multiple squares in a single turn. This is interesting and makes simpler levels a lot more challenging.
The sound effects are a tad too squeaky for me, and the art is good. I don't really see the theme in here, but I can get behind your justification a bit, seeing as you never really move out of the view of the screen. Nice level comments btw. :P
