Loved the odd style of the hands going out / coming at you! :D

Loved the odd style of the hands going out / coming at you! :D
Wow. This was really good. The controls were really hard to learn, but in a good way. Like someone mentioned earlier, getting my brain to re-learn what those keys did was tough. Add some sound to this and you have a really polished experience here! Very well done.
Had a good atmosphere! Wish I could have seen more evidence of the aliens around the map. Loved the shadowy figure at the start. It set the tone well.
Funny game! WebGL was definitely hard to play, but at least you have it as an option and gave the warning going in. Cool entry! :)
I like the feel of the game. Maybe it was just me, but WASD moving you on the global axis instead of local to what direction you were facing was a bit confusing. Overall neat entry! :)
Got lucky on my first try so I had to play it again to mess things up! :D Simple yet fun concept.
I like the art. Interesting sacrifice mechanic.
Wow! I love the movement in the game. I feel like this could make a neat puzzle platformer or something.
Very cute game. It was fun! Although I didn't get to finish it.
Cool game. When you die holding a directional key (which is most the time) you end up immediately moving your character when you re-spawn. So I had to press R again each time I re-spawned to stack the characters correctly. Not sure if this was intended, but if not you could disable input at the start. Either way, nice entry! :D
Enjoyed the game! Nice job.
Thank you all so much for playing my game! I had a great time making it. I wish I had more time to make the game-play a little more engaging, but it was a pretty busy weekend. All of Friday and most of Saturday were taken up by family activities.
@rob-white I just wanted to mention that the character's eyes disappearing was actually supposed to be a blinking effect. :D
@rakart There isn't an ending to the game. It's just about getting a "high score". After playing it a bit more myself I kinda wish there was an ending.
A really simple, but well executed, game. I had a lot of fun with it!
Game is really great. I would love to play more of it, but it became too difficult to control the movement precisely in the later levels. If you add analog joystick and or mouse controls for the movement to the post jam version that would totally fix the controls issue, and I would play a lot more of it! :D
I didn't know exactly what was going on, but it successfully stressed me out. Good job! :D
Hey! I had fun playing! It looks like you ran into the same cursor locking issue that I did with making a first person game for WebGL. :p
Hey @saering, thanks for playing! Just wanted to let you know you can throw things out the windows. They just have to be opened first by standing real close and pressing E. Then you can throw stuff out! :D
Heya @call-me-nutty, just hit escape when playing and there is a slider for mouse sensitivity! I implemented sound effects kinda late. A sound for when an items enters the vacuum was on the list, but it got lost somewhere in the last minute rush. Oh and it not counting when you pick it up is intentional. You gotta get it all the way out of the house. :D Thanks for playin!
Love the Doom-esque vibe. Shotgun firing was quite satisfying. Nice job!
This brought me back to early Playstation days. Marking mood and graphics the highest for sure. If you had humor enabled I would give that some stars just for the dude yelling "gotta reload" when he's all alone. :P
10/10 sound effects.
I enjoyed this! A straightforward concept that was well executed. My biggest struggle is the fact that I prefer inverted up and down controls. Took a while to get the hang of it. Nice job!
Simple puzzle game that fits the theme well!
This is GREAT!
Game has a nostalgic feel. Brings back memories of similar games as others have already pointed out. Well done!
Stressful, but fun! Art is simple, but effective.
Great use of a simple art style. Great job!
Cool, creepy feeling game. Simple, but well executed.
Loved this!
Really like the 2D animations you have going on. Everything feels really fluid. Great overall!
The teamwork here really shows! Great job!
I don't even know how to respond to this... so just.. good job. Have some stars.
I'm not sure I can live with myself after this...
10/10 would build a pile of frozen corpses again.
Really stressful, but really fun!
A value indication on the items would be great. Had fun. I love the art style!
Great mood. The art here particularly made this a joy to play.
The 3D graphics have the perfect level of detail for something like this. Great job overall!
Loving the art style. I really like the shader used here.
I like the atmosphere you have here. Good sound as already mentioned!
Lit.
I really like the idea behind this. Would love to see a full version of this with more choices and illustrations.
I did find it weird, however, that (in my play-through) after Elijah had died, Kate was still talking as if he was there by responding to something he wasn't there to say. Maybe this was intentional and I missed something.
Great entry overall!
Great polish and a lot of content.
@djn I really like the facing direction idea! Thanks! And I thought about a pause option, but didn't get time. It's not set to run in the background though so if you click off to the right of the game window it will freeze until you click back on it. So, there's that at least! Thanks for playing!
Played mostly for the story. I would enjoy the gameplay more if it were sped up. That would also make the time warp feel more useful. Nice entry though! :D
This feels really well polished. Great job! It definitely took some time to figure out when to use things. If you do a post jam version, a tutorial mode would be awesome.
Love the art!
One of the ones I was looking forward to playing from what I saw during development. Very challenging, but I enjoyed it.
Neat game! I had fun. Blood spitting is an... interesting mechanic. I want to know how this guy manages to expel blood so far. That's quite impressive.
Only one complaint and that's how long it took to drink blood. It mostly felt like a chore. I am guessing maybe you were supposed to feel on edge since you were stuck in one place, but nothing ever approached me while I was drinking.
Oh, and I feel like the blood bar should be red when full, not the other way around. :D hehe.. but I get that it could just represent health and you lose health as you spit blood.
Nice job! :D
Just as others have already said, the lack of color in everything except the fire is great! The environment feels genuinely cold and dead. The title is also very apt.
This is a really sad game... BUT GOOD JOB! :D
The art here is really well done! Fun game overall.
Really neat idea. I like the dialog happening. Maybe could have moved slightly faster to feel more challenging. Nice job! :D
Neat idea. The graphics are very nice! You have a good balance of effects. It looks cool without being overly distracting.
My favorite weapon was my car. I enjoyed pushing the AI off the cliff. :p
@emiko Oooo, I really like that idea. Dang, woulda really added to it. Thanks for playing! :D
Simple, fun game! Good job!
I think I liked the mood of the game more than anything! It was very relaxing (for a game about asteroids smashing you to bits.) :D Nice job!
Neat idea. Would like to see it expanded on! Feel free to check my entry out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/late-night-shopping
I spammed space just to watch the bird derp out. Was fun. xD

Cant seem to DM on twitter so maybe you will see this! screen.png
10/10 would immediately type "down 90" again.
