@pukami thank you so much! Well we intended to do a better decision balance but we had to sort out other problems.
@xenoxygene Thank you! We felt it made it but guess it misses great deal of features so we made a road plan to make it as a proper game for other platforms as well!
I think I've encountered a bit of an issue.
If you happen to send everyone on tasks in such a way that on the next day they're all busy, the game will lock itself, as you will be unable to make any decisions.
That said, I love the art-styles and the aesthetics in general. Besides this one bug, it seems time was taken to get it as polished as possible, and I think it definitely paid off.
@dwam we have had another mechanic that we couldn't complete which interfered with that issue so if you press space you can skip the day. It was supposed to be on how to play screen if I'm not confused! and thank you so much for your kind comments!

Love the minimalist artstyle and the overall aesthetic. The icons that merge into resource bars are cool as hell. Definitely an idea that can grow. Keep up the great work!

I got to the 4th day and couldn't progress. Everyone has a job assigned and as far as I can tell there is no way to move to the next day. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong or if you get a fix in, would love to play more!
@evan-leibman In the how to play scene if every body is on duty or anytime you like you can press "SPACE" to pass the day / night.

Very cool, has a very unique vibe and made me want to play more and more, the only negative point in my opinion is that the HUD was not very clear and I didn't tell what would cost me food, water, faith or order so I made it randomly. It was still fun tho :) Congratulations !
Thank you all @mara and @dboot. As my teammate @tpamir said, we're going to improve all UX and game design/mechanics at future. But, for now, we are resting after 72 hours full focus working.

Good and moody visuals and music. You say in the description that you can't have more than 9 followers, but I don't see anywhere where you can get more, so I only have 4. Also, the randomness of the missions can mean that you don't get a mission for the resource you need, so you just send everyone to try to get as much as possible. However, with a little bit of polish and the changes you're planning it can improve a lot, good job!
@pablodap We have an issue with the follower system atm. So it is not working. But we intend to do quite a lot of features and bug fixing. :D Thank you for your comments.

Really like this "multi-threaded" decision game! Very polished too. I got a bug on restart, when the day count didn't reset I think. Didn't found how to have more followers too.

@p0nce Thank you for your comment! Well the follower issue we could not fix so excluded that. When you have 4 guys on duty you can press space and pass the timer.

Man I loved the artistic theme in this game. It was simple, but it worked so well with the premise of the game. The gameplay was enjoyable too and I'm excited to see what additional features you guys will add in its continued development. Great job!

I see potential here, and while the graphics are really simple they do a good job with the music to set a good mood. Unfortunately, it feels like the game is entirely too dependent on RNG -- no matter what strategy I could have picked there just weren't enough Order missions coming up for the first four times I tried to play it (which meant I couldn't reject bad ideas, either), and then I got really lucky on my next play and got the mission that boosts everything several times in a row early on so everything was staying maxed out all the time.
@coda-highland Thank you for your comment there! We're aware of the issue. Prevous build happend to lock players down at certain stages. We made a fix but it made resources fly around in joy :) Just figured out that order / faith bonuses play a huge role on maxing thing and unfortunately we could not implemet the new follower assignments that sets the consumption level at min within this version.

Cool game! I really like the aesthetics and the vibe. The atmosphere of the game felt like Rain World when I was playing it.
Good resource management game, I survived only 12 days, but had a nice time struggling with it. Having faith and order as resources is a good addition to the usual. Great job! Thanks
I really like the atmosphere, art and music work very well. The gameplay is nice, would have liked a bit of feeling of progression, but otherwise, it is perfect!

I adore the graphics, audio, and general mood of this game! It has a fairly polished feel to it and it's enjoyable to play. It would have been nice to see you work in the theme in a more original way, but overall I think this makes for an awesome game jam entry. Great work!
Very nice! I made it 26 days before I ran out of faith. I agree it needs some balancing, I knew I would run out of faith for a few turns but there was no option for me to rescue it, and I had to keep playing. Great graphics to match your theme!

Interesting idea! Apparently I'm not cut out for leadership, haha. The visuals work very well for the mood and I was determined to keep playin to improve my score. There were a few typos (eg. "dees" instead of "deer") and sometimes it felt like I just wasn't given a chance to succeed because the right resource didn't pop up. Still fun though!

Well there are numerous things that we could not finish during the jam one of them is to exile followers and the other is to get new followers with situations happening once in 5-10 turns. For later versions we intend to do a lot and continue this project. Cheers!

Really charming and interesting game. I really liked how it was turn based and decisions had consequences that you had to think about to juggle your resources. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The atmosphere of the game is spot on. It would be nice for the sky to change when it's night, that way you get a better idea of how much time is passing. I feel the current symbols aren't that representative of day and night.
Another suggestion would be to put the details in the one speech bubble instead of a separate tab. I'm always forgetting the skills so I'm constantly swapping tabs. I think there's enough screen space to fit it all in one bubble.
I really enjoyed this game and found myself playing it quite a number of times. Great work!

Alright, here’s my thoughts:
The game concept was a great setup for fun, but the difficulty was completely unbalanced. The randomness of each quest (not to mention the randomness of the resources resulting from them) was a huge issue. If you had focused on the feature you had already added, where each adventurer focused on different resources, and leaned into that aspect more heavily, it would help balance out the game a lot. Also, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense that everyone’s nocturnal, so try changing it so that you can only act in the daytime. There’s no reason for night. My rating: 3.5 stars.
It wasn’t particularly innovative, although that is, for the most part, the themes fault. My rating: 3.5 stars
It fit the theme, and you aren’t using one of the most extremely overused interpretations of it! My rating: 5 stars
The graphics were simple, but outstanding! Great job! My rating: 5 stars.
The audio did do the job, but it didn’t stand out. My rating: 4 stars.
The mood was very well done, but the extreme difficulty, random typos, and other issues were terribly immersion breaking. My rating: 4 stars.
Overall, this is a quite artistically polished game, and has a good setup, but the gameplay backbone severely lacks tuning, and the audio and mood were mediocre. My rating: 4 stars.

I felt the need to skip days without skipping people. Although I haven't realize at the beginning that I can skip people ;) Game was very interesting. I like that you made all resources have different shape and different color even though they are all very desaturated. I instantly knew which is what I need. I wouldn't remember them just from the shape because of the pixels.

Really great concept and enjoyed trying to balance the resource gains. Unfortunately I was often hit by bad RNG, and wasn't able to survive many days.
Neat resource management game with a very cool post-apocalyptic skin. The overall theme of this game jam is well presented, as at every turn, you are making sacrifices in one category to try and enhance the other. Many of the problems I had with it you have already mentioned as improvements you would like to make in the future, so I won't repeat them here.
You've done a great job in a short period developing this, well done!

I dont get the idea with order. None of my men have that skill, so I don't seem to have a way to generate it.
I really like it, but there's the problem that sometimes you just don't get the things you need, leading you to an inevitable demise.
Otherwise, it's real neat, nothing bad to say.

The strategy was slightly lacking, however. For me, the game was just clicking on whatever has had the most of the resource I had the least of. Perhaps there should be a way to get more followers? All in all *The Mist* is a solid entry to Ludum Dare 43. Good work!

When I contemplated the low resolution choices, I felt intrigued and reminded of the 1980s EA game called StarFlight. Even though I didn't survive long, you crafted philosophical choices! If you continue to develop this, after I survived 4 days I wasn't sure how I died. I guess I ran out of food, since that meter was low, though I didn't recognize which person would get more food, and didn't understand what the -5 Nay option meant.
