I really enjoyed this music game. I just took the music from my own LD entry, just because I have no other wav. file on my computer ;)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD44 → Particle Overload

thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
I like the concept, but I think that a different game structure (maybe shorter levels with different songs) will be a great way to continue the prototype!
I used reach for the summit from the celeste OST and was impressed, it's very ambitions to try and make a game and music visualizer in such a short time frame, and you did a good job.
interesting idea, I used some EDM tracks.. very cool effect :D Good job!
Pretty cool visualizer, though it took me a while to realize the volume slider needs to be way up to see the particles. I don't really see the relation to the theme as well.
First game i've given 5 stars for music, being able to play your own music and have the game react to that is great. The graphics were simplistic, with the exception of the visualiser. I don't really see how it fits the theme though. But i have to say given such a short time it's good and you should definately keep working on it.
I really enjoyed the music and the mood of your game. Well done ! Thank you !
Really neat game, though it makes me wish any of the music files I had on my computer were .wav instead of every other audio type, haha.
Pretty nice game. Really liked the whole idea, the way you work with music! Awesome entry, nice job!
Always cool to see audio-responsive stuff in an LD, but especially getting things set up so that people can upload their own audio (I've wanted to do that in the past, but always ran out of time before I could make it happen). Gameplay was simple but effective, it seemed to work well in conjunction with the circle pulsing to the music.
I don't think the game works correctly on my machine, because the particles are just grey spheres, nice idea though.
What an awesome idea! The particle effect is really nice, and I love the concept. Allowing the user to add their own song was a good touch, too. Since EDM was suggested, I gave that a shot and boy howdy it was worth converting some files over to wav to see that. Really well done :)
