I am not sure if have played any of your other LD games, but I really liked this one. The graphics is simple and really cute. The music/sound effects fits the game really good. The puzzles are in general great, but I am not sure if I was solving all puzzles the way the were intended to be solved. But over all this is a great game. Well done.

I have now also rated your game.
@jk5000, thanks! I'll be sure to rate yours

Nice work! The sounds do really fit the game nicely. The simple colour palette also works nicely with the simplistic mechanics. I don't see a need to have the zoomed out camera only active on a keypress though, as I held it down the entire game. Maybe making it a toggle, or just removing the option entirely would have been better? Nice job either way :)
I love it! The sounds and art create a great atmosphere and the way the mechanics get just a little more and more complicated as you go is really well done! Nice work!

Beautiful! This oozed with style. It looks and sounds great, and this all works with the gameplay to create a real sense of being in this alien reality.
The controls were snappy and responsive, and the puzzles were an interesting exploration of the core mechanics. They skirted an edge, risking being simple enough to mentally solve that it might leave the execution a rote chore, but they never quite crossed over. I thought the pace was perfect, and right when I was approaching done the game beat me to the punch just a little, perfect timing to end on a high note.
There's little not to like in this, it's all a real nicely made package. But in the name of feedback here were a few very minor items that I did notice:
The sound effects, while beautiful, were a little bit long. The jump/landing was absolutely perfect, but the harp-based sounds dragged a little. Notable offender here was the C zoom/unzoom sound. Actually by late in the game I was simply holding C the entire time, when this problem was removed. Maybe a toggle instead of a hold? I definitely appreciated being able to play in big-looker mode.
I liked the controls/mechanic enough that I experimented a lot, and I was able to get semi-stuck at the cusp between two planets a few times, where the entity I was fluttered violently this way and that without advancing. I eventually resolved and fell on way or the other. Granted, I was TRYING to do this, and it didn't cause any real harm. Certainly did not interfere with earnest play.
I also created the following situation, which I am supposing you may not have intended: http://imgur.com/3dFS61n
I accomplished that by abusing your somewhat generous ground-check. If you're casting a ray, you correctly give it a bit of leeway which lets me be sloppy with my input. But in this case it creates a possibility of a very slightly higher than intended jump, which I used to (I think) circumvent your intended solution. No problem, I get to feel clever, so intended or not it was okay!
Very nice entry.
Fantastic game man, oozes atmosphere and is so sleak and minimalist. Probably by far my favourite LD game I've played so far :). Great job!

this game looks really nice.
I did find that the black gravity orbs break the game. I to get the orb as was intended but then i would just jump shift the gravity and float to the yellow circle. Before that it was a nice challenge.
This was a fun platformer, and both the sound effects and the happy expression on the player's face makes this game a lot more adorable. The gravity physics also work really well.
The only criticism I can think of is that the transition between levels are too slow.

Very cute game, and a good length for the amount of new challenges and mechanics introduced. Nice work!
I don't think there's much to say that hasn't already been said. I really liked this entry. I like the music/sound, and the gravity mechanic felt natural and was easy to get used to. It was that perfect kind of simple that made the game really fun to play.
Well done!
Nice game! The sound and style of the game fit very well together in this game. My biggest disappointment in the game was that it was very easy and not a challenge at all. The Z power in the end felt like cheating to skip over a lot of the levels and you were easily able to dodge all the barriers. The idea was quite interesting and worked very well for the theme. All in all a nice little game that could have benefited from some better level design.

Really nice entry! The graphics and sounds are great and create a great atmosphere. The controls and the mechanics were really nice. The introduction of new mechanics led to a really nice learning curve. The only thing that slightly confused me in the beginning was what the barriers do, since in the first two levels were they are introduced, you can get through them just fine. Overall, really nice work, it was really fun!

Nice game! Rules were solid and easy to undertand, and it was well dressed.
The grey color feature was really refreshing! I think you could have other interesting challenges to improve the LD, like "killing ropes" that switch of color, or that turn around the planets...
Also, when I've seen I could watch the full map while holding C, I keeped this button pressed until I finished the game. So perhaps it would be better to switch view when you simply press C (and not hold).
Hey, would you look at that, you made a game called "Hopper" also!
Okay, on to the critique:
**The good** over all, the game worked really well The mechanics seemed to fit the atmosphere the audio and visuals painted a great relaxing mood within the game the puzzles were a good difficulty
**The bad** the floaty gravity was really annoying to me also the non-bordered window was kind of ugly it was a little too short imo, but you can only do so much in two days
God job. Hope you had fun and learned a lot [:

really COOL! game, was fun. nice graphics perfects sound effects! my only feedback is, (and just personal preference), the C button for toggle camera view be a push and release for change view and no a continuos push... nice entry!!
Really nice compo entry with quite a few levels. The graphics are very solid and the sound effects match the overall mood.
It would be nice if the game could be started in a larger resolution or even fullscreen. Also the controls "Z" and "X" are a bit out of place for QWERTZ keyboard layouts.
Overall: **Great job on the game, we've had a lot of fun playing it.**

You decided on a simple, but not simplistic, and did a really good job.
Level design really takes learning curve into account, introducing new elements very well, game is fun overall, and I haven't had any issues with the playthrough (everything behaved as expected, controls were tight and responded as they were supposed to).
Can't really seem to find anything I could suggest to do better. The only thing you could do IMO is add more levels or even more mechanics and expand the game. It's great as it is :)
well, maybe one thing - the gray planet/blackhole art concept doesn't really seem fitting somehow... But that's not an issue, that's just a matter of taste ;) And everything else is consistent both design- and programming-wise.
And that little bastards face when it's falling from the jump, damn it's funny. Probably more funny than you anticipated ;)
Leaving my rating, cheers!

Very nice! The visual style is really nice, especially the glow effect. The sounds are all pretty nice, and there's enough that the game never feels empty despite the lack of music. The zoom in/out sound can be annoying if you zoom too fast though. The gameplay is relatively simple but is still pretty interesting and I like how it introduces new mechanics regularly to mix things up. I really appreciate how it manages to teach everything without blatantly spelling it all out. There's a good amount of content too. If there's any complaint it's that you fall a bit slowly. Overall though, it's really well done.

The graphics, sounds, aesthetics, main character and overall design was really good, but the gameplay itself got samey towards the end because it basically felt like playing the same level multiple times. This game also tries to communicate the rules of the game non-verbally, which is something I admire.
Really enjoyed this, played it through to completion, the way you built up difficulty and mechanics throughout the game was perfect, something that a lot of LD games miss is such a good sense of progression. Graphics were really nice and sound was neat, I liked how all your actions made a unique sound.
Couple of points I would add, the game was in a really odd window for me, windowed but without any way of moving or resizing it - fullscreen would have been nice. Also having C toggle instead of holding it down would have been nice, since I completed most levels just holding it down all the time.
But these are really minor issues that don't really retract from such a polished game.
What an excellent game! Normally I try and leave advice on what could be improved, but apart from making more levels exploring some of the concepts, there's nothing I feel needs to be added! I had a wonderful time playing this!
This definitely felt closer to a small indie game than just a jam game. Really enjoyed the audio queues for most of the actions in the game. Very well done. :)
Beautiful presentation calming gameplay. I wish the gras on the would move. It would look so cool! Absolute a great game! Keep up the great work and thx for commenting mine!
I had fun in a peaceful fun way while playing this. The audio really helped setting that mood. The mechanics was really well implemented and the way they were introduced - both the pacing of new features and the clarity of them was very nice. On some of the later puzzles with anti-gravity in them, it felt like there were alternative routes not really planned and the positioning of the beams kind of hinted the same, so while kind of fun feature maybe it needed some restriction like "can only flip once per flight" and/or "can't do rotational controls in flight after flipping". In general though a really well made game.
Nice game! The levels were great, and the controls easy to understand. Also the way you show them to the player is so good. I also liked the graphics and the sounds.
Great job! :D

This... was... amazing. We were totally sucked in for a very long time. Great job on your design work, very impressed!
@occultone thank you so much, video feedback is so great and the kind words were fantastic. I feel like quickly mentioning however that you quit the game on the last level, no problem, just amusing.

I reeally like this game, the graphics, the audio, the concept. but I felt like the puzzles were too simple. once I found out, that I could just reveal the whole map and hold the C key forever. maybe ditch the rveal button and instead give clues for the player when hee appears stuck. other than that, it's a great game! I wish you would call it space bunnies :D

This is a very nice game, minimalistic sounds and graphics, brings a great atmosphere and works smoothly. Congrats! and thanks for nice review on my game NUKEBALL - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/nukeball
Great game! Super simple and easy to pick up & read with a great curve of difficulty taught through the level design. Definitely a set of mechanics you could easily build on into a wider game with some interesting puzzles. The aesthetic works great with the sound effects and art style (and fits the theme perfect!) great job! :-)

Love the cute little character, love the sound effects, and really enjoyed the way the game played. I wish there had been some in game instructions and that I could have changed the size of the window- I was a little distracted by being able to see my desktop around the edges. Easily one of my favorite games I've played!
Absolutely the cutest game I've come across this time by far! Such a sweet art style, and the puzzles were very well made as well.
Impressive work. I love the aesthetic which is really unusual. The main gameplay is good. Addictive. Cute. Minimalist. One of my favorite games for the 38th Ludum Dare. I had fun playing it. Thumbs up. Highly rated. You deserve it ++
Very very good idea and more very good art! Great job!
Wow, that is a really great game.
I like the simple but flexible core game mechanic, as well as the simplistic but cute visuals.
It is a coherence experience and the audio fits too, but after a time it becomes a little bit annoying. Too much ringing and tingling.
There is a little (more visually?) glitch if you are exactly between two planets, but I didn't got stuck.
I also really like the built in tuturial, which introduces gradually the player the game mechanics. It let the player explore the game instead of much reading up-front. A nice progressive approach.
I wonder why the player shouldn't use the overview mode all the time? It's much easier to solve the level this way (from the puzzle aspect). The only two reasons I found not to use it all the time is not having to press a button constantly and its aesthetics. It just looks nicer if you move along the character. Oh, it could add a little bit of a memory challenge. If you want enforcing the overview to be just for orientation, the character shouldn't be able to move while using it.
Don't get me wrong, the game is really nice and very well executed. I like it a lot. :-)
