I like graphics and gameplay itself. You should add gamepad support. My best score was around 300,000 points.
P.S. You have to play other games and rate them in order to have rating for yours. Good luck!

Hey, I thought the graphics were really cool and the gameplay fits the theme as well as being quite fun. I did encounter a few bugs - one where I'm sure I managed to fly above all other enemies or powerups, but they were quite far between (the bugs). Awesome job!
Haha, scored 710,000! Beat ya @n-feofentov ! I realy like this game, the music is great, your graphics are good as well, plus the composition of the map really adds to the visuals! The gameplay itself is fun as well, I feel like I'm a bit of a slow ship but whatever ;) This could certainly evolve into a post - jam game with vertical movement as well, I'd like to see that! I recorded some gameplay as well ;) should I keep you informed?e
[@fusionnist](https://ldjam.com/users/fusionnist) It's pretty insane hi-score I'd say -- game was designed to be hard and short, just because there's not much content there (all environment is 4 tiles randomly combined). I'll definitely evolve this prototype into 'proper' game later.
Simple and challenging. Colliding with obstacles isn't very impactful; bouncing backwards with an anemic sound effect doesn't quite do it for me. Just plow on through with sparks and sounds of *trashing metal!*
The environment graphics are very dull and gray indeed. The ground texture especially repeats a lot. Not a graphics person me, so can't give you any advice there unfortunately.
Found a :bug: I hit one of the breakable walls and instead of it breaking the ship moved upwards and stayed above the action for the rest of the run. Could not pick up any energy there so it is not a very effective cheat, too bad!
Ok entry this. Could use some polish, graphical mostly.
@blk-dragon Meant to say dull and brown; the old brain is jamming again. Apart from the environment there sure is color. I also forgot to say that the enemy robot model is quite a looker. No worries!
[@huvaakoodia](https://ldjam.com/users/huvaakoodia) Environment is kinda programmer's art -- I did it all myself, in a rush -- so yes, it's kinda repetitive. But gray?.. I mean it's rather colorful :)
I didn't get a full experience, the game keeps randomly close while playing :$
But i enjoyed the parts i was able to play, i loved your 3d art and the the recoil of a hit :D

So, am I top score now with 1.3 million? Gotcha, @fusionnist! Also, I may have gotten a bit lucky with power orb spawning .
I ran into some weirdness, and I think it's what was causing the problem for @mamoniem. As I was trying to figure out controls, I naturally went to WASD first and tried all the keys on the left-hand side. Unfortunately, there were a number of keys that just caused the game to immediately crash, including left shift and 'w'. If I hadn't stumbled upon using the arrows and ctrl keys next, I'd probably have gotten frustrated and not rated the game (would have left a comment saying why, of course).
All that said, I did like the game. Graphics were good, although, as you mention above, they were really repetitive (particularly if you play for more than a couple of minutes). Sounds were exactly what I wanted. Gameplay was rough at times, but since there was a quick restart and it was meant to be a short-run game, it was okay. If I thought a particular run was too difficult and not fun, it didn't last long anyway and I got another run right after. So that was alright.
Overall, this is exactly what I expected going in and I played enough to get a score over a million, so that tells you that I enjoyed it.
[AFlatThrasher ](https://ldjam.com/users/aflatthrasher) '2' is debug key to drain energy, 'shift' is for not-implemented boost-glide which currently only causes crash. I should've written controls in description and tell NOT to press any other random buttons :)
Great job. Reminds me of level 1 of Star Wars Rebel Assault.
I like it, it's a good start for an infinite "runner" game. I feel like the hitboxes were a bit unpredictable, and as others mentioned there's some issues with crashing/quitting when hitting certain buttons like W and Shift. It also seems like the rotation/orientation of the ship is not entirely reset upon death.
Otherwise fine entry though, the controls felt good and overall aesthetic was decent.
Nice entry! Did I miss any controls, because A and D seem to be the only buttons doing anything, besides W, Shift and Esc?
[@feips](https://ldjam.com/users/feips) Controls are: arrows to move, `Z` or `Ctrl` to shoot.
Well done, it's more likely to be called Danger Everywhere in my book since I'm far from lasting forever! :p
[@raaaahman](https://ldjam.com/users/raaaahman) Well, 'danger forever' implies you won't last very long :)
Wow, this game looks amazing.
It is also very addictive and controls well. My only suggestion is that the enemies should drop energy when killed. In this version, shooting things is pretty pointless, only reduce your energy (in my opinion, of course).
[@pedro-romero](https://ldjam.com/users/pedro-romero) Yes, enemy and destructible stuff should drop some energy -- that would be more logical, just didn't have time to do that. Currently, shooting stuff is only for points -- which is not entirely pointless :)
Nice graphics! Looks great, nice 3D models. It is a bit hard though, and therefore is quite a short game.
This is a very fun super addictive game! I did run into a bug where I was "pushed up" after hitting a wall and started flying above all the obstacles. Other than that it's great. One of those games that takes a lot of effort to close :D.
Started without reading the post here which explains the controls, would have been nice to have it show the controls inside the game too.
First up i gotta say the audio is pretty good, nice sound design and soundtrack! They blend very well into the game and also has some variation to it.
The gameplay feels good, the enemies bullets and your own have a good hitbox. You feel in control and with enough skill are capable of dodging bullets. The enemies ship hitbox might be a bit large however.
There is one issue i have with the controls, there is a penalty to slowing your forward momentum (which is fine). But, you aren't able to move sideways as fast as before, rendering the slowdown obsolete since you also have to pay some fuel. It's just not worth doing. Exploding rocks? YES!
The graphics are nice, and the terrain of the level is making it fun to play. Sometimes the ship gets stuck facing one direction after being hit by an enemy, which feels weird. The environment is mostly boulders, but since their placement is making the gameplay more interesting, i don't mind a lack of variety in terrain.
Overall, it's really good. All the art and gameplay merge very well. Good Job!
Nice game! Beautiful 3D graphics. Fluid and clear. Fun to play. Music not bad, but Could have helped more effort in the level design, because as it is I got bored of it after 5 minutes of play.
Impressive game! Reminds me of an old arcade game. My high score was 2,179,500.
[@tomahawk2001913](https://ldjam.com/users/tomahawk2001913) Wow! New, even more ridiculously high hi-score :)
The camera is pretty strange :D
I managed 1,390,000 but for some reason, I was always shooting too high up and the enemies were shooting too low, getting more and more noticeable the longer the game went :D
[@sokette](https://ldjam.com/users/sokette) This is known issue with collision/physics, which (sadly) won't be fixed in current version.
Immediately used WSAD to fly the ship and application started crashing, then noticed your comments about random buttons causing crashes. Laughed. Played with arrow keys and had a blast. Brutal bug to have, glad you submitted all the same, otherwise solid entry.
Solid entry! The graphics were serviceable and I liked the look of them. The music was nice, although it could have stood to be a bit more bombastic to add to the energy. Much the same can be said about the sound design. The gameplay was rather fun for a while. My only issues have to do with balancing. It felt like the enemies just shot at you no matter how far away you were from them and thus it became a cluster of enemy bullets with very little chance to avoid them. I'd suggest making them slower, bigger and only making the enemies shoot when they can realistically be shot at by the player as well just so it feels more fair and the player has a chance to swerve around them. Other than that, solid entry!
[@shell-pirate](https://ldjam.com/users/shell-pirate) Sure, enemy should "think" about what they're doing -- in the jam-version they just shoot randomly (and shot range is unlimited too). Oh, and BTW enemy weapon range is smaller than player's -- so combat is somewhat "fair" :)
Nicely done game! The score-bonuses and multipliers really help solidify this is an arcade-y "for points" type of game. I don't mind the game's blistering difficulty -- though a more forgiving health system might help alleviate the game's crazy pace.
I would recommend taking a bit of time to remove all the crashes, though -- such things can be a huge turnoff.
I fully admit I have a sweet spot for decent graphics, but this game was actually very fun to play aside from its gorgeous visuals! I warped through the objects one or two times, but other than that I had zero technical problems.
It'll really be great to see it become a full game one day, so please gimme moar of this good stuff :3
[@shess](https://ldjam.com/users/shess) Thanks! Yes, I'm going to make it a "real" game a bit later.
Nice game! Played it a few times =)
nice work cant beat a good shooter imo, enjoyed playing this. the music just sets off the pace and drama nicely :) yeah definitely take it further, nice one.
Really nice game, loved the graphics and sounds
Great work! Great use of the main theme too! The game looks and feels really nice to play, controls worked fine for me too, and it was quite a challenge! The work on the graphics was really well done, as well work done on audio, both blend really well and give a really nice mood there! :D
Sometimes my ship tilted a bit and I didn't know why. Tried playing it in fullscreen, but everything looked strange (ship was misplaced, for example), but overall, the playing experience was really nice!
Good job there!
Hey, nice game! I really liked the overall visual of your game. Some things i noticed, after collision the ship doesn't reset rotation and if i't with low power even if i catch the energys, i still ended running out of power. Although, it is a fun game, i really liked it. Good job!
