I really liked the idea of building houses. I played until I had like 150000 points, but then I realized, that I had other stuff to do. It was fun, but when I tried to build a house and clicked on an existing house nothing happend, except that I lost a placable house. Also it is very weird that there is no sound. But as I said, I liked the idea

That a nice little game! Relaxing. Maybe too much, there no difficulty, you just build houses ^^ The game work perfectly, it's fun too see the house grow up. It sad that the point reflect nothing... Becasue, can we loose? ^^ Goood job!
I enjoyed played the game, that is the most important.
The graphics are not too nice, but the way that the houses are built is well done.
As @vivoubos, maybe a way to lose could be interesting. Anyway, the fact to be doing clics and to see hoy wour city grows is relaxing.
I imagine that you can add more buildings and make them interact, like parks gives more points to houses that are in the neigborhoods, etc. Recently I played a game (made by @japes), that uses nice interaction mechanics.
Thanks for the ideas. I has also the feeling that there is not much challenge. But it is indeed possible to loose: When people do not find a free house they get angry and when two angry meet, they grow into some kind of superangry. When one gets too big the game suddenly ends...

I like the idea - it looks good and is fun to play. I could have spent a lot more time here :-) It would lend itself to further expansion - as has been suggested, with parks and other types of buildings. Nice work though!
Could've been much better if the placing houses had more feedback/was more responsive. Solid effort though.
Good game, its a little basic on the gameplay side but it's solid overall, some kind of feedback when you don't have houses to build would be nice. Nice job.

Funny game, I've play it for 10 minutes. First time I didnt realize what to do, but then, in the second try, I was able to reach almost 200k points. There are some situations you just lose a placeable house (if you click in the road, for example). Congratulations!
Interesting start for a game. It dries up quickly because of the lack of anything else to do, but what's there is certainly fun and engaging as long as it lasts.
One thing I would like to see would be for it to block you from building if no one would be able to enter the building as placed. I started out placing buildings a little bit away from the road, just to give them some space to grow, but couldn't figure out how to get the people into the houses.
Overall, pretty nice for the short time span. You could probably flesh this out with some more mechanics and make it quite fun.

the idea is intresting, also for a mobile game for example. still it needs to be improved a lot on the gameplay and graphics imho
Nice game, but it seems rather finicky when trying to place down houses, it seems like I had to click about 20 times before a house went down, and even then people didn't seem to want to go into the houses unless they were right on the road.
A better indication as to what is going on is needed.

I dived straight into this and at first I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing. and I placed houses where-ever, people were getting big and mad. When I clocked that you had to connect the houses to the road and same coloured houses joined together make more space for your people, I started really enjoying it. I think it's a mechanic that has a lot of potential. Great entry!
Interesting project which fits with the theme. First time I didnt realize what to do, but then, in the second try, I was able to play a few minutes. Well done. However, it could be improved with more time, but it is good enough. I had fun playing it. I like mood and aesthetic. Thumbs up ++
PS : I noticed that you rated just a few games. What did you expect? Respectfully you must rate games so as to receive ratings. I wish you the best.

I felt in love with this game ! The gamefeel is nice and quite relaxing. I think the realisation is not very good, but the gameplay is fun (imo). I played until I had 600k points.
Some improvements : - Visual feedback for the house placing cooldown. - Adding the ability for the player to remove a house (paying the price for a house or two for instance). - Adding some relaxing musics and softs sfx :)
Great game with good potential ! \o/

At first, I didn't figured this game out. But when I realised that you need to place the houses besides the street I got the hang of it. My only complain is, that it gets easier when you are further into the game. I managed to build buildings on all the possible locations an fill all of them up on the first try. (I got a score of 882870) Good job!

I got 624815 points before I ran out of territory and the riots started. I don't think that the "happier in smaller houses" mechanic ended up being very meaningful, since there was no way to avoid having gigantic seas of one house color.
This is a very good use of the theme; I was constantly aware of how incredibly small the world was.
