Well polished game; was a blast to play!
We loved this game! Nice challenge.
Very nice! Felt extremely playable and polished. The music was a nice fit and the sound fx worked well. I enjoyed hearing the little beep that meant I hit one of the panels.
I had a couple close calls with dashes back to the central area to stock back up on power before running out. Well done!
Suggestions: The game felt a little dark. I spent a lot of time trying to move around boxes onto panels that I couldn't see. Maybe make the gravity beam also light up the area? That way you choose if you want to trade the power usage for the extra light.
Bugs: You could fire the gravity beam way off the screen by clicking outside the window. Was this intentional? I was able to move some things around that I really had no chance of seeing or knowing what they did.
Great atmosphere, great soundtrack, great theme, great puzzles.
Overall fantastic game, congratulations!
Nice game, very polished art and good maze puzzle. Having checkpoints after using power stations would have been convenient so sections wouldn't have to be played over if the player runs out of power. Sometimes it was a little tough to tell if a crate was still held by the gravity gun. Fun little jokes in the dialog, wish I could have killed those damn rat things though... Good work!
Liked this! The art and sound and gameplay come together to make a solid, cohesive whole. The one issue I found (and one I had with my game too) is that the exploration meant a lot of wandering around, unsure of where to go. A map or guide system would be greatly appreciated. Overall though, I had fun with my time playing, so great work! Thanks for jamming!
Very nice audio, nice graphics. The only problem is that I really didn't understand what was going on after the first big room, and I couldn't do anything. Also I really liked the gravity gun to solve puzzles that's blocked by walls.
This is an excellent game in every way. Well done. I still haven't beaten it, but I definitely will. GREAT WORK.
I loved it. Very challenging and fun. And finally something that exports both 32bit and 64bit on linux!
That was very fun! Wasn't able to beat it. Very challenging. Incredible job.
great job sir, keep up!
Really nice puzzle like game with an interesting mechanic. The graphics and audio were also really nice and tied everything together into a nice package. Game has potential for further development for sure!
the scale and quality of this game is extremely impressive. I got really far, every time i thought i would run out of power a charge was just around the corner at the right moment. the leveldesign seems complex, but it worked quite well navigating without a map. Eventually i ran out of power, no boxes to find to keep the switch down. Little dissapointing that i had to start at the beginning after playing for 20 minutes. But that is really the only negative that comes to mind in this game. very solid and polished entry, enjoyed it very much.
The puzzles are really nice, and the game is very polish, well done!

SoI got stuck in the door the first time. But after that I could play well and the game is great, I love the mood and allt he little fdetails you put. The logs and the character speaking was ncie.
Great Job!!!
Nice challenge. Got stuck in the doors once though lol. Overall good submission.
Ran out of power maybe 10-20 minutes in and I'm not sure I want to play through all of it again, which is a shame because the story is fairly interesting. I like what you've done with the graphics very much, and the music. The gameplay mechanics aren't particularly interesting and I found myself occasionally dropping crates I was supposed to be grabbing with the gravity gun. Still, an impressive project for LD39!
That was excellent! Just amazing, So solid and polished for a jam game, I really enjoyed it to the end! If I dig deep I can find one thing that bothered me, that was that I somethimes loose the stuff I was carrying mostly becouse it got lost in the effect. So I could walk half a room without notecing that I had dropped the object.
Other then that perfect game! probably one of the best if not the best I tried so far! Thank You!
This was amazing. Best Game Jam Game I have seen.
This game reminded me a lot of Dungeon of the Endless, both in aesthetic and also the powering of rooms mechanic. The urgency caused from constantly running out of power was a good touch, though I was kinda hesitant to explore more as a result. Pretty enjoyable game, I'm impressed at the amount of level design put in this.
Very nice, among the best I've seen in this jam. I'll have to revisit it when I have time to actually read all those logs.
A well made entry, no doubt. Moody too.
I've seen these types before, but usually they lack any sort of urgency. The power constantly running out really did help in that regard. I didn't have any close calls, but in the end I though I had lost one of the power cores. Luckily I found it in a close by room. Phew!
There are a few technical issues, such as the gravity beam area being very big making it hard to pick up single objects. The AI is also very dumb, which isn't all that bad as you can easily trap monsters in rooms you've already been to.
Some graphical glitches here and there too, like the gravity beam not shutting down when activating the last power core and things prodding through the side of the door sprite. Little things.
Enjoyed it more than I though I would. Good job!
Great game folks! You can tell that you were on top of organisation and all the little things that make a team work great. The art was enjoyable, it set the mood perfectly. my first go I got locked in one of the first rooms like others comment posters. I think the enemy moves the crate or something? idk how it happened. Second time i got 2 of the power cores and could not find were to go next before running out of power. The theme was good, but it was sad to run out of power after playing for so long. maybe those terminals that explode could not explode, maybe only give half of what it gave last time, so its not so punishing to the player. Maybe a check point you return to after losing power. You do want the player to explore right? a little variety and innovation with the conveyors could have gone a long way here. variable speed for example or change directions with a switch. For a jam you did great tho! The graphics on the horizontal passages were glitchy if you moved the player towards the top. the sprite order got funky and the player sticks out over the passage art. just when moving side to side not vertically. I did not read the logs because they reminded me of emails at work that I also don't read. I love to read too. so maybe make the logs more inviting if you want people to read them. or add an incentive. like a small quiz at the end of each log, if you choose the correct option you get some power back, something like that. I'm surprised you pulled off such a large level and had time to polish it so! polish seemed to ooze from the game. Good work!!
Great game! It feels super polished. Using the gravity beam to move things in another room was fun, and I liked the robot's bits of dialogue. My only complaint is it was a bit dark and hard to see what was going on.
Everything looked great, particularly the gravity tool! I felt a too blind though, every time I hit a switch I just had to guess what changed and then run around til I found the door that opened. It was fun gravity-ing things, but then it got repetitive. Maybe diversifying the uses for the tool beyond just putting boxes on switches, maybe gravity bombs into the enemies or gravity a lightbulb into place so we can see.
Nice game, very polished. It was a bit confusing at first, but it's been enjoyable to play.
Very good game! Is there any way to kill or escape from mutants? It is very hard to play when there are huge amount of them block your moves Nevertheless the game is AWESOME.
:metal: **Overall: 5**
The game has a great story, but I got a bit stuck eventually once the base had opened up, and ran out of power. Maybe having had some sort of restore or restart point would have been a good idea, or perhaps I was right near the end and didn't even know it. Really dig the sound effects, too many games leave them out.
Dark and gritty atmosphere, in a good sense. Makes you think wisely how to spend your energy while trying to explore. The fact that the generators are not there forever adds some challenge. It looks good, and the sound contributes very well to the atmosphere. Haven't met any bugs yet. I have to activate one more generator..
Nice game guys! I liked so much the graphics and the music. Also how you give to the player some tools to avoid losing energy like the automatic walking corridors in the floor. I think there's space to improve how you communicate the mechanics to the player such the right mouse button and the energy chain. Anyway is a pretty cool game, congratulations.
I just realized what a great game this is. Because of essays, there was no time at all. Fortunately, I have found this service http://essaylab.co.uk/ So I am free for games again.
