Awsome graphics, fits the theme, simple idea. I like this

This is my favorite clicker game that I have come across. I may not have played all that much of clicker games so I don't quite know if the tiers are balanced or not, but to me they seem fine and I was able to progress at a rate that was not fast enough, but still kept me interested. But the strength of this game is that it manages to create a calm and cozy atmosphere with it's superb visuals and audio. Small things like a spider that climbs down on web adds to the feeling that this is a window to a place with life. There is an very high level of polish to the game, everything feels well thought out and carefully crafted. It is very peaceful, you actually feel like you are sitting in the forest and just observing. It obviously nails the theme, the small world of ants is both interesting and a nice change of theme from all of the space games that I have played so far.

Well done, this is one of very few LD entries that I think I will be playing again :) !

Nice idle clicker, the graphics are really nice. The music is really relaxing, I like how you added spiders to make it slightly less idle. Good work!

Interesting concept with a great art style and good ambience. I didn't keep playing all the way through after I got the largest anthill, but what is the challenge? It doesn't seem that there is any way to lose (and maybe not even to win), so what exactly is the challenge. It is interesting at first to do the upgrades, but where do they get me? It just turns in to work after a while.

spaceman 2017-05-02 00:00

Not a huge fan of clicker games, but I really like the graphics and sound. I played longer than I thought I would!

emarcotte 2017-05-02 00:11

my wrist.... damn you clicker ... my one weakness ........

nice work on the art and clickening. i didn't find any auto click but presumably there would be some sort of endless spiral after a bit?

wildmusketeer 2017-05-02 00:11

Simple but addicting clicker game. I like how you layered simplistic UI on top of the photorealistic game, which makes the game look like a Sundance movie poster! It sets the mood and atmosphere of the game quite well. I liked it a lot. One nitpick is that the same sound effects seem to play a bit too often, which was a little irritating when I realized that was happening.Overall, I think this would make an excellent top app store game (with a little extra polish)!

versatile-box 2017-05-02 00:25

I love clickers. I play too many clickers. And yours is definitely the most beautiful. I love it. Please keep working on it and let me know on Twitter (@TinchoIsla) as soon as you release a postjam version!

morrilet 2017-05-02 00:31

Wow, the graphics were amazing. This seemed so well polished, and the mood was set so well. I got sucked in for possibly too long. Great work.

lepatryckduffy 2017-05-02 00:50

Very nice graphic, Very polish game and good ambiance. It's very relaxing. The only problem is that it is a clicker right :p

flipsy 2017-05-02 09:41

Lovely, lovely atmosphere and graphics. Well done. A perfect sized game for Ludum Dare and great theme. A shame such talent is being wasted on such an evil genre though.

hadesfury 2017-05-02 20:58

It was good :) ... the last upgrade come a little too early :)

1. I love clicker games 2. I'm totally addicted to your game 3. :mushroom: :ant:

**Really nice work!**

brandann 2017-05-09 04:15

really great game!

dejvo 2017-05-10 10:51

This game looks really gorgeous, and plays as intended. it's not as nervewrecking as other clicker games, and that's good for it. maybe turn it into something else than a clicker game in the future, but otherwise, I like it, especially the graphics

smiling-cat-entertainment 2017-05-10 11:28

What a beautiful entry. The graphics are outstanding, and the ambient audio is great, too. The gameplay is pretty decent for a 72-hour clicker, I think the numbers might need a little bit of balancing because I am well beyond getting the last anthill upgrade, but it is still far more efficient to farm acorns/apples than mushrooms and pumpkins. Overall, great job!

richard-michael-smith 2017-05-10 11:29

Wow! Absolutely stunning looking and sounding game! I cannot believe how much time I just played it for...

You have definitely got something here - if you can add some more challenges to it and balance the stats then this could be a commercial release without question! **Amazing work!**

alexandr-rum 2017-05-10 11:35

**Richard Michael Smith** Excellent result in the screenshot)) thanks for the comment, the balance needs to be fixed, but we did not have enough time to make enough tests.

richard-michael-smith 2017-05-10 12:17

@alexandr-rum - no worries at all! What you have created here in such a short amount of time is nothing short of stunning! Well done to the both of you.

uchiro 2017-05-10 13:00

Nice game to relax =)

psilon 2017-05-10 17:29

This is a very good clicker game, i played way too much. I like the graphics.

prototyke 2017-05-15 01:31

I haven't played a lot yet, but the basic mental math I was doing made it seem that some of the tiers were unbalanced. Per ant, it was cheaper and more efficient to stick with nuts than upgrade to apples for quite a while. I did quite enjoy it though. It was the first resource-dependent clicker I've ever played

pascalman 2017-05-16 20:14

Very great art, nice idea, good job!

annagavaldakedavra 2017-05-18 14:29

I don't like clickers and i think you lack some mecanics to make it a little bit more interesting to play. BUT your visuals and sound design are gorgeous so for once it's a relaxing clicker (you just need a relaxing clicker mecanic). good entry!

hunttis 2017-05-18 15:13

Nice work on the ambience! This requires no music, as the sounds of the forest work so nicely. I couldn't figure out if it was a loop, but I couldn't pick up on the spot where it loops. Really nice work.

This is a very dangerous game for me, I don't really even like clickers, because I get stuck to them :D This wasn't so hectic as some others are though, there were quite long pauses between when the ants went for food and then having to click again. That could maybe use some tuning to keep the player engaged.

I had to check it out, but it seems you used Phaser. Nice work on the visuals too! Especially the very moody translucent particles make it seem very faerytale foresty :D

rodancheg 2017-05-18 16:33

English: great game! I like clickers, they eat my time very fast! Russian: ну ты и фагет. Игра норм, но медленная)

anna16 2017-05-19 06:31

This is really cool! I should work but I keep playing it))) and I like the forest sound

alexandr-rum 2017-05-19 08:05

Thank you all for ratings and comments, thanks to you, we realized that in our game well and what is not good. All good luck in this and the following competitions!

Beautiful graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piKz6z64rgg

Beautiful game, I loved that you can buy things for the anthill. It is just a great clicker with its random bonuses and a satisfying string of numbers going across the screen as you click, the only additions I can think that would improve the experience are more things changing as you make upgrades, a more interesting background (maybe with the ants interacting with it) and some small improvements to the UI or a simple tutorial.
