Cool! Took me a while to figure out the mechanics. Everything is a bit hard to see in the embedded version.
Hand shake game? Interesting. Controls feel a bit sluggish and I didn't realize I had to move forward after the tutorial because the projectiles were moving toward me.
Fixed Mac and Linux downloads but I do not have either of these systems to test the builds on!
Application was unable to start correctly error on windows build.
The start is difficult.
Aw I was really enjoying this but it always crashes when "last is an incantation/chant thing" is on the phone.
The game file size is super massive for a jam game! (300+mb)
Presentation is nice. UI is done pretty well. Depending on what obstacles generate, you can start a game with an instant lose state. The game would have been quite a bit better with more of a top-down camera view. Sometimes (I think?) a magnet was used on me so that I just flat out died for no apparent reason because I couldn't see what the opponent was doing behind me. A button to instantly end the turn rather than needing to wait for the timer would have been nice.
Not gonna give you many points in innovation as you just copied the example that was given as the theme.

I played this... but I have no idea what I'm doing. UI is unlabeled. Once I figure out how to enter tower shoot mode, I cant figure out how to exit. I can't figure out how to control anything. UX design is one of the most critical aspects of a tower defense game, and I'm sorry to say this game missed the mark. Also enemies got to the end of the track and just bunched up. I don't think you can "lose".
I was very confused, even after reading the tutorial screen. A little bit of feedback with audio or visual when the user clicks on something will help a lot with that, especially on the monsters!!!
Money seemed useless?
Also the executables just had the default "Made with gamemaker" name. Presentation is everything.
I really enjoyed this game. Relaxing and I loved trying to make as many "ripples" on screen as possible. Minimalistic visuals are very nice. It took me a while to get a grasp on what the controls were. It would have been nice if it said what the keys did. I still don't get what "Primary type" and "Secondary type" mean.
I kept getting stuck in the seams between level geometry, or if I was going fast the level geometry would throw me into the air and I'd lose control. For any kind of 3D unity game, Probuilder is a must IMO.
Loved the flavor text, but I couldn't figure out how to win. It seemed like some of the encounters changed what you needed to do every time you.. encountered them. Music was nice. Keyboard clacking fit too. Never found any of the items.
