Nice description! I'll try out your game :)
Good game although I'm not that good in puzzle games ;D The controls were very simple and your idea fits to the topic, so good job. It's a pitty that you didn't have the time for the music but it's still better than not having a completed and fun game.
This is a cool idea, but I couldn't get past the second puzzle. The game opens in a really tiny window for me (it can't be more than 320x240) and I can barely make out the letters on the little card on the ground. I tried the puzzle for quite a bit of time, and I wasn't able to get past it. It might just be me missing something really obvious though... I'm not sure.
Very nice, probably, but I, too, couldn't get past the L=Twelve. Spoiler alert! I understand L=12, I=9, I=Eye, but nothing I try unlocks it :(
Nice idea, charming looking graphics, and cool puzzle's (even tho I didn't get past the second one), but window resolution wasn't helping out at all, in overall it's a pretty cool game, nice work!
I apologize for the confusion with the puzzles. I have written a guide to help give at least a nudge in the right direction. http://gamejolt.com/games/ext/252013/devlog/extension-guide-xks2kpvz
The guide helped a lot! This is actually really cool! I think in some ways the art lets down the experience a bit... I'm not sure I would've ever understood the mirror. Although I suppose the backwards E was close enough... I do think the puzzles are a bit to much of a logical leap. The game would've benefited from more puzzles that teach mechanics (like rotating the paper).
The resolution is also a pretty big issue, but I think it's much easier problem to solve. It probably would've been easier to figure out the second puzzle if it were easier to read the characters on the paper. I also think a different font might help some with that, although it seems like the E and 3 looking the same was intentional, so I'm not sure that's the direction you'd want to go with that.
Overall very cool!
Just about to give it a play... looks interesting!
Very challenging, i got past the second puzzle, and couldn't figure out what to do from there. still, well done for your first ever finished game!
Very complex puzzles but I like it! The guide helped me on some parts.
Awesome idea, I really liked your game!
The guide feels more or less mandatory. A clever idea but seems to suffer from the classic problem of 'guess what the game designer is thinking'
This was kind of cool, very difficult for me, but some more polish, I think it would have been a great puzzle!
Really liked the idea. Screen was a bit small which made it hard to see the puzzles, but the concept is really interesting. Great work!
I love how you developed the idea of puzzle in that small window
I like a good puzzle, but this was tough. I could not figure out the eye puzzle even with the provided hints. I can see you made a lot of content based on the hint guide, unfortunately I don't think many people will see it all. Perhaps something in the game like a free pass token could be used (at least for a game jam) to skip a selected puzzle.
Overall the gameplay was smooth. Some type of audio would be a nice touch to add on, even if it is just clicking as you type or dings when you unlock an area.
