Beautiful game, but hard to understand what is going on and what am I supposed to do. Took me some time to realize that each wagon had a certain amount of wood and stone I could harvest. I'll try to play it again as it seems that like any good Roguelike, acquiring knowledge is part of the game. The smoke effect is amazing !
A really cool and fun game but it takes a while to figure out exactly whats going on. Some form of text tutorial would be helpful. I had no idea about the weight system until I first lost because of the lack of explanation. The pixel art is all really nice and the gameplay is fun tho! :)

Really impressive gimmick with mining your own train and then constructing. That alone produces many possibilities and game challenges, i was in flow state when was managing these "gatherers" (like wooden, stone) from already used wagons to new, counting the left resources. The Battle-royale-like storm chasing you is a real cortisol giver ;D (in good way, challenging game) Also ghost wagons is beautiful idea)) The only thing left to do is better winning screen to fulfill the achievment dopamine. But overall a perfect implementation of old-rusty-tech and mechanics around that. If polished it can be a really potential project. Best.
Really nice pixel art and stylization! It takes a little while to figure out how everything works and how to gather resources, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a fun and engaging roguelike.
Really lovely pixel art! I enjoyed the animation and the different types of train cars. Although I didn’t immediately grasp what I was supposed to do at the start, things gradually became clearer as I played, even if not all. The ending also quite unexpected, after which the game starts over from the beginning. Still, it was a great experience to play it! Thank you for your hard work!

It's really hard to manage this train - would love an easier mode! I really like the idea, core loop, the art and weather effects are amazing. I'd definitely play more if you continued development!

Very nice art, and the gameplay looks like it could get reaally addictive. However in its current state I had a little bit of trouble understanding the impact of my actions on the train
A beautiful and very complex game

The concept of survival through dismantling your own equipment is really genius. It gives a strong sense of making progress despite the constant breakdown of your core resource. This project feels incredibly ambitious, and the sheer mechanical depth is seriously fun to watch unfold.

Cool game about a train! I made something similar for the last GMTK, but yours turned out more interesting.

Great game! I remember you from the last game jam, and I really think you have your own distinct style. You know what you're doing, and it's great to see you keep developing your ideas! A little tutorial would be nice, though

I really like the visual style of your game, the animations, and the overall feel—it's just wonderful! I think there are some issues with the tutorial (I only understood on the third attempt what I actually needed to do to get iron for the first upgrade), but overall the idea is excellent, and I think this will make a great full-fledged game.

Really appealing visuals and also the visual guidance how to interact with the systems was clear. I was able to craft things but not totally sure what they did or what the ultimate goal was. However a world which just sucks you in. Well done!

I love train games. I really like how you implemented this in pixel art, as well as the game's concept itself. Cool!
This is an incredibly high-quality, atmospheric, and mechanically deep Jam entry! Even though this isn't my usual genre, I was completely blown away by how fast the web build loads for a Unity project and how premium everything feels.
The core concept of dismantling your own train cars on the fly just to gather wood and resources to keep the locomotive alive is absolute genius! The UI layout is incredibly rich with all the adaptive menus, stats, and furnace upgrade systems. Visually, the pixel art style is stunning — the dynamic weather conditions, the linear fog stretching across the moving wagons, and the rain effects look spectacular. Combined with the highly satisfying, rhythmic audio design of the train wheels clicking, it builds a phenomenal, addictive atmosphere. I agree with the thread that a quick text tutorial or introductory guide would be super helpful since there are so many complex stats (like weight and speed management) to track at once. But once you start experimenting, the loop completely sucks you in.
Outstanding and highly ambitious work! If you have a free minute between managing your wagons, I’d be absolutely honored if you could check out my retro-tech ASMR cleaning simulator too. Good luck with the final ratings! 🚂🌫️🌧️✨
It looks really cool and comprehensive, but I felt it lacked some training/instruction
