A very addictive game with pleasing visuals. I liked the concept of scavenging for parts at the junkyard and how it’s implemented. The boss had 800 HP left, but I still couldn’t quite finish him off :)
"You won! Do you want to continue?" Obviously, yes! Love the idea and those guys from the first battle 😆
Check out my build!
Nice pixel art
Laughed a lot at some of my fighters' looks =) Really good game with a cool concept, and the junkyard minigame fits the premise perfectly. Only remark is that some early builds can make fights drag on for a few minutes.
Really nice pixel art and lovely sound design! Everything feels cohesive, and the little details make it pleasant to play. If you keep working on it, a bit more challenge towards the end would make it even better. Well done, and good luck with the jam!
Love this guy))
An interesting concept and stunning graphics, but it lacked a sufficient challenge; I started defeating everyone too quickly and didn't feel any real resistance.
The idea of rummaging through a junkyard is incredibly addictive. I'd love to do more of it!
So stylish and beautiful! And the concept of building robots out of scrap is absolutely brilliant. I'd love to play a full version of this game!
I love the scrap yard idea, i was trying to get something similiar for my game but couldnt find a good solution and just gave the players some random items.
I enjoyed this was, very nice graphics and cool gameplay loop. Well done!
Gorgeous pixel art, give the artist a raise
I really liked the art style of the game 💜
Nice graphics and cool concept! Thanks to Wally, who was the last survivor with 90 HP left. It would be nice to have tooltips explaining what each of the four stats represents.
I really loved the visuals! The art style looks fantastic. Great work!
Really great job,
Pixel art style top notch ! Cool music, and sound fx.
Archaeology phase in the garage is cool
Well polished
Easy to use, I like the first fight, like just ... I ain't gonna make it ! This game makes me smile multiple times 👍
It's cool! Excellent pixelart, the theme is interestingly played. Everyone here is flexing their champions here are mine:
At the very beginning, I didn't immediately realize that I had to dress all three of them, but even so, I almost defeated the boss on the first attempt (it was this guy). I didn't really understand how the boss hits, to be honest, there's some kind of indicator from below, but it's not very clear.
I also didn't have enough hints when pointing at an object. I had to memorize and put on/take off endlessly.
And finally, I would like to speed up the time in the battle (my first time 1 on 1 lasted a few minutes lol), as well as some kind of endgame (for example, cool parts fall from the boss and it scales (you can have previous versions)), then I would spend a lot more time in the game!
Otherwise, it's great, I really liked it!
The loop of searching for scrap, building a team, and fighting a giant, overpowered boss is really addictive. It's a nice entry! 😸
Lol so cool. No bugs, easy to go, fun to battle. Well played guys!

Really nice entry! Loved the concept of scrapping and building. One thing I'd add would be a speed up button, early I found a monitor and could attach it to one, so I had to wait a relatively long time to just be defeated. Other than that: Nice game :)
great gameplay loop ! fun :) Visuals and audio are stunning !!
Great entry! I had really fun digging through the scrapyard and figuring out the best combos of parts. The game feels and looks really polished. Well done!
3 vs 1, a bit unfair with all that scrap power :) Nice concept and cool combinations to build your troops
scavenging is fun, the resulting builds are funny. speed up option for an autobattler of course is a must, stats preview of items would be a good quality of life improvement. other than than - good job!
This is a fantastic idea, I was particularly fond of the digging through the dirt for trash mechanic. And of course the frankenstein trash mashups were cool as well! I will say I didn't really know what I was doing but it didn't stop me from having a good time.
Would be nice to have some kind of speed up, fights are a slog and tooltips for the parts to get an idea of what each one adds to a bot. Bots are fun to cobble together, there is potential in the loop you have there, when the rust is scraped off 😉
That brilliant! I really like the style and overall quality of game and idea!
I just love games like this, where I can lean back and see my things do their stuff ngl xD I would have wished for a tad more variety in the items tbh, and maybe a hover over effect to see what the items actually do. Also I can agree with some comments before a speed up button would have been super cool <3
Still a very fun entry, really captured the whole scrapyard vibe! <3
@dekisenpaitm @grizwhirl @wakanake @kitmani Thanks everyone for your feedback! We're working on a major update and will be releasing it soon. Stay tuned!
LOVE ITTT<3 GOOD JOB!!!!
Really fun and stylish game, and a great fit for the jam theme. I managed to beat the boss on the first try by putting all the items on a single robot! But even after winning, I decided to keep playing so I could collect the other two robots as well 🙂
Very cool visual style and overall idea of looping between scavenging, building, and battling. I played until I defeated the boss on the third round.
I don't know if it was just my build, maybe I found really defensive items first or something. But the battles took way, way, way too long for me, watching huge numbers go down by tiny amounts in exactly the same way over and over again for minutes straight with no interaction. I had to go do something else and return to the game to see what happened and then continue. This was a real shame, because I WATNTED to love it, and there's so much cool stuff here, but the waiting was simply too painful for my taste (or maybe it was just my build?).
But I still think it was very nice art, very nice sound, and a good high-level design of the game.
(EDIT: btw I glanced at the repo and I love that you included the mockups from mid-design, cool touch to see a piece of the design process)
@pkenney Thanks for the feedback!
Really fun game, love the idea. I would have loved it if the parts showed which slot they go into and which stats they provide in the tooltip. Great job overall!
P.S. This guy really carried me Screenshot_20261024_214032.png
Awesome love the rummaging, fight went on for ages though:
This was great! I love digging in the scrapyard and assembling my fighters.
The visuals are excellent, but the gameplay is quite repetitive.
Fun game, even though quick to beat! Enjoyed discovering what parts may lie in the scrap yard and made some mean fighters. Really nice graphics!
Nice auto-battler entry!. It was fun learning the layouts and how to enhance your robot. I would say the scrapyard text would read better not flipped. I was able to figure out how to craft the robot easy enough but feel some might have trouble without a brief tutorial. After finding the best combination felt there was little reason to change. So different enemies would give reason to change robot layouts. Also may benefit from hovering tooltips for each piece of scrap to know where it would go and its stats.
You guys made a fantastic game! I loved everything from the visuals to the mechanics! The only thing is that the boss has too much health, but I think if I had played the game a little longer, I would have beaten him.
@jefvel @jb-rock @yanot-studio Thank you for your feedback!
Игра очень понравилась. Процесс игры записал, будет интересно можешь посмотреть. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2910447474
I thought the idea of combining mini-games with auto-battles was really fresh. The graphics are awesome too!
super cool, won on a third run. Assembling the robots was the most fun for me ❤️. Pink shark is the best item ^^
I really like the idea, the visual style, and how you've incorporated the jam's theme! The only downside I can think of is that, since this is a game jam, you probably haven't had enough time to fully explore the game's potential. In fact, the only things that come to mind are features that would be nice to add to expand the experience.
Overall, I think this is a great start and a really interesting idea for a game jam. I can also see potential for it to become an interesting commercial game (rogue lite maybe...) if you decide to keep developing it and add more content and features with more time. Great job!
Great mix of Slay the Spire plus build your own robot. What a fun idea and execution, you guys did amazing!
Graphics are really good, the main mechanic of digging garbage to find stuff is kinda addictive and cleverly made. GG to the team for this game. Just one thing : Maybe it's just that I'm dumb as hell, but the "You've won, do you want to continue" message at the end made me think there was something else after, like other bosses. And when I tried again I felt like the difficulty was different so I was wondering if maybe you just didn't have time for an other boss skin and used the same but with different bosses behind, but it seems like no it was the same guy all the time. I probably continued 7 or 8 times before realising hahaha A clearer warning maybe ? :')
That said, it's a really nice game that I enjoyed spending time on, congrats scrap boys and girls !
Really good art and use of theme! The digging minigame to find items is intriguing, there's a lot of room for expansion there.
I've never seen rusted metal look so lovely-- you guys nailed this one! Interesting mix of the digging, building, and auto-battle mechanics. The art and audio are both on point. Very nice entry!
Love the artwork and found the game loop addictive. Great job!
It's an autobattler alright. Tight gameplay loop, easy to pick up. Solid entry
Amazing game, cool gameplay and very creative theme usage. Some pieces have totally unrelated appearence x working but thats part of the charm! =D
Interesting auto-battler, my meta was tank wheels plus shark plus DPS. Reminds me a bit of Drill Dozer as well as the Pokémon D/P/Pt's fossil excavation mini-game. Kudos to the composer for the garage music.
