I love the graphics. They are monochromatic and simplistic. The game is a fun 1 minute game about building a tower. It has easy controls and intuitive physics. I feel like this game is not trying to be hard, because there is not a lose state (to my extent of knowledge), but still I really enjoyed it. Overall a nice and calming experience. Good job <3

Looks like we both had the idea of the Tower of Babel, haha! Nice! Agreed with the above comment that the monochrome, simple graphics work well. Congrats on finishing your game!

Good simple graphics, nice style. I wish there was a bit more variety in the kind of parts falling. I think the physics were nicely tuned to make it feel fair, which is always a challenge.

Not bad, I would suggest adding some background music and some differently-shaped pieces

The fact that the pillars bounce as if they were soft adds a bit of difficulty. It's allways nice to play this kind of game. It's a bit sad that there is any music. I don't know if it's intentional, but we can still continue to play after the game over.

Really love graphics style and the bounce effect when parts bumped in each other. Didn't understand, if there are any scores or winning state?

Thanks for the feedback everyone :-)

@raph-gi: Yeah, unfortunately I did not have time to make any music. I know it's possible to play after the losing state, but again, lack of time to disable this.

@ghpxi: You win once the tower reaches a certain height. My original idea was to use the height as a score. I might implement that in a post-jam version of the game.

Tetris with physics is a neat idea, and it fits the theme perfectly.

The controls are smooth and responsive. The art gives a comedic flair to the Tower of Babel.

Nice entry!

Very clean art, nice sound effects. Gameplay lacks some ambient music, but it is fun anyway.

Good work, keep up!

Loved how simple the game was - totally easy to understand and no unnecessary complication. Also it was fun that you could carry on playing even after losing. I don't really have any negatives apart from the lack of music so well done!

I like the art style and constraint. Some goal or constraints like time pressure could make the game more enjoyable for me. Exploring the mechanics doesn't last too long with the most interesting thing being careful while holding space as they land. Building faster using space to drop without this like tetris might be fun, but it's hard to say.

@crefossus : thanks for the feedback! I do agree that the game would benefit from stricter winning conditions. I like your idea of having a time constraint.

My initial idea was to make this into a score-driven game where the objective is to build the tallest tower possible before it falls down. Unfortunately, I lacked the time to implement this. Maybe I'll do it in a post-jam version of the game.
