Nice job. I wish there was more of a visual indicator that I was eating an apple. Also at some point the music stopped and there were no more apples to eat :(
@zwartraider Thank you for the kind word! This was my first time making my own asset, so I was definitely not very confident going into this. Glad you liked it! In terms of the apples, it seems like they should respawn them earlier. I'll make sure little slimes got enough apples in the update!
@dooskington Definitely! Music stop was intended to highlight the "footstep", but when footstep is too far, the player hears neither. I see the confusion here. Thanks for the feedback!
Pixel style is best. Looks like io games. Gameplay is good. :thumbsup:
感觉还不错, 虽然有点简陋但该有的都有了(我甚至还可以抢其他史莱姆吃剩的笑死), 然后我稍微提点建议: 1. F键离WASD太近了, 如果想单手操控进食按键可以换成空格, 如果想双手则按键可以换成回车什么的(多从玩家角度考虑) 2. 地面有点死, 你可以画些简单的帧动画, 会摆动的草和花什么的(就是这些细节让玩家感觉游戏活了起来) 3. 吃苹果的动画还是挺明确的, 但我不知道吃到什么程度了, 所以要么给苹果加个血条, 要么多画几帧动画, 还可以让苹果被吃的时候适当的缩小(说到这个, 感觉让苹果被啃几口爆一次经验会不会好点, 吃完整个再爆感觉有点突兀, 然后这个爆也可以整点粒子效果(你可以提前准备好一个粒子系统脚本), 而不是直接生成在脚下) 4. 然后就是感觉流程有点短, 刚爽起来就结束了, 我感觉这个可以参考球球大作战霸屏, 你大到一定程度就可以无限膨胀, 然后以撑满边界作为游戏结束条件
差不多就是这样, 然后你第一次打的话顺便提醒你一下, 这几天你最好多给别人打分评论什么的, 这样你也能更容易获得他人的评分和评论, 看到自己做的游戏被他人喜欢, 这种感觉真的很棒!
@look-for-happiness 感谢,都是很实用的建议!能做一点动一动的动画的话,画面应该会生动许多,我这段时间偶尔做一点试试,下次加到游戏里!另外苹果那里我完全没想到可以啃几口爆一点,感觉那样的话会很有趣哈哈!其他的gameplay建议我也很赞同,谢谢~

Yay, I did it, I am the big creature now! Very fun game! Took me a couple of rounds to get to the optimal strategy, felt great when I figured out how to grow gigantic and eat all the other creatures. Very satisfying! The creatures all look very cute. What really stands out about the sound design is when the music cuts out and you hear a big creature approaching, that one's great, that really keeps you on your toes when it happens. All around great job on this game, well done!
Interesting idea! I found it confusing to be killed by smaller creatures, but I really liked the gameplay. At first, I thought it was similar to an agario-style game, but the differences were a nice surprise. Great job!
Nice cute game. Interestengly, player is refusing to eat apples, on the other hand, he steals coins from other peacefully eating apples, and kicks them. Also at some point slimes got distracted by coin felt out of bounds.

I love the phylosofy of the gamed and sounds too.
It took me a bit to realize that I needed the other blobs to eat the apples for me. Really nice pixel art - scales up quite nicely!
I don't understand. I was the biggest I could be, then the music stopped playing and out of nothing I lost. Nothing was comming at me at all. I played the web version. Overall interesting and nice pixel art :)
