LD55 — Summoning

Artisan by Iluvatar 2024-04-15T15:04:52Z

Woah. I really enjoyed the visuals of the game! Really solid work on the art style. Crafting the items was really exciting! Never knew what its going to look like, and really enjoyed the results every time!

One thing to consider; if there was literal monsters in your view, would you just do fishing? I felt the summoning part was a bit off here. The monsters on the back looked really intimidating, so... maybe that could be turned into a feature somehow? eg. In the start, there is no monsters in the view, but rather nice view and birds everywhere. Then after each day, the signs of monsters are more imminent, and on the last day the player understands they've helped the mage to summon the monsters and tries to _do something else than fishing_

Like said, really nice graphics! - Sami

The Klent by sirJupitron 2024-04-15T15:10:29Z

I enjoyed how the features worked together. After the lava room i got stuck in the door with the green button. Was positively happy to see there was checkpoints when I died :D

great job! - Sami

These Spirits and I by Nick Luciani 2024-04-16T06:58:28Z

Really enjoyed the visual side of the game. The world seemed to be vivid and the glitching gave me the impression that the player was somehow able to _see_ the ghosts and the barrier between life and death!

The opening of the door in the cell was really nice, and the instructions where nice implemented well, felt like the thoughts of the main character! During my play, I found another summoning skill too, but didn't understand the use of it, since all I had to do to escape was to just continue walking straight ahead.

Maybe I was lucky, or the level design could benefit from some extra rooms with more locked doors?

The Mage And The Assassins by 0X_VOID_X0 2024-04-15T14:23:56Z

Really enjoyed the music in the game! The mood and instructions worked as well! Noticed the game included support for several levels, but I was never able to go to the next level after the tutorial. Not sure if this is intended, or was I just so bad at the game or understood something wrong :D

Great game overall! Hope you had fun! - Sami

Horrors from Beyond - The Bayou by GameDevTraum 2024-04-21T08:15:36Z

The starting cutscene was really good mood setter! The audio and characters thoughts solidified the sense of danger, even though the bubbling gators did kill me once... on the first time the bishop got me, as I admired how it looked (the red flame-like sprites are really nice!)

Demanager by satacat 2024-04-20T07:26:01Z

The elevator music during the tutorial is nice and the visuals are really cool. Enjoyed a lot the clocks eyes, and it reminded me from Cuphead!

Found the game logic to be very confusing from the second day forward; the tape casettes function stayed a mystery for me. if I understood correctly they represented voice mail from people needing demons and the ingredients were wrong sometimes.

I felt there was a bug in some point, see pic, since the expected answer was Void, but the goat was wrong.

Getting the answer wrong IMO could be made more interesting mechanics wise; instead of losing only 10 sec, and needing to brute force the correct one, you could make something else, eg skip to next one to make the game more interesting, and forcing the player to understand the feedback better.

feedback.png

overall really enjoyed the visuals, and the mood of the game

Butler Beckoned by Brandon McDonald 2024-04-15T14:39:26Z

Really liked the idea summoning JEEVES! Really did not expect to see that!

Something to ponder on; I think the point and click approach is neat. The phasing and tempo could be improved in following ways 0. Make the text visibility faster, like, a lot faster 1. SPACE does not skip the line, but rather makes the text fully visible 2. I had issues going through the doorways because I was missing the colliders, can you check those and maybe have a little visual cue there?

Really liked the theme and hope you good time jamming! - Sami

Moving In and Moving On by Artmuse62 2024-04-16T07:10:21Z

Nice work with the visuals and the music!

Screenshot 2024-04-16 at 10.07.28.png

Ran into a bug, and added screenshot of the place. After the dialog ended, I was unable to do anything :(

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-15T15:19:13Z

@oadt Thank you for the feedback! I really struggled with the visualisation of the characters and the portals especially. In the beginning they had different logic to work, and the visualisation was for the layer (pink, purple and dark). That was even worse ":D"

This was my first game where I made the assets myself, and getting to this point, I'm really happy with the results, and will create a backlog for myself to continue on!

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-15T18:09:18Z

@rpgwanderer thank you for the feedback! The danger halo is a really good idea, and will add it to my backlog! Glad to hear you enjoyed the mountainous views, too!

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-16T17:16:41Z

Thank you @thejookerful for the feedback! For the question regarding enemies; yes and no, its a mix. If the enemy is close to you and is on the same level, it will follow you. Otherwise it will go left 33%, right 33% or stay put 33% (there was a bug! Your comment made me to check it, and v 1.2 (now on itch.io) has this fixed logic. Thank you for asking of this, made the game a lot better IMO!

(the bugged version roughly 25% went left, 75% right and the bug caused them to stay put in some cases)

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-20T07:31:38Z

@silkworm-sweatshop thanks for the constructive feedback! The screen wrap is really good idea and will definitely implement it ASAP! I feel that really does help with the impossible cases you mentioned, and brings some depth to the mechanics.

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-21T07:45:41Z

@beeb-gamecodecompany thank you for the kind words :v: Im also happy with the camera zoom in the beginning, nice to hear you enjoyed it too! I definitely agree the lack of music and sound is a pity, and might add the later on while tinkering with other stuff

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-21T08:02:22Z

@emilalix thank you for playing and reviewing :handshake: I wanted to make the gameplay easy to understand with some leeway for mistakes, but still make the game challenging enough to encourage players to try again as the game is rather short

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-26T15:15:24Z

Thank you @joshua-miller-pio for the praises! Definitelly agree the lack of music is a big bummer. Do you have any tips for creating simple music or SFX?

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-26T15:18:57Z

@perfectsquare thank you for the feedback! I've been thinking of adding some different kind of enemies; some might have quite strict areas to patrol, and others would have move free but simple routines. Every time I've conssidered this, I've stumbled upon the challenge of combat. I feel I'm forced to have some kind of interaction, if the enemies are less random. Might be that I just have to try that and see what happens!

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-26T15:19:44Z

Thank you @nadia-pixel ! Do you have some tips or tools to mention for making music or SFX?

Winds of Change by Zamizmi 2024-04-30T06:55:03Z

@jimuu thank you for playing my game!

Who Summon Crazy Delivery Guy? by JIMUU 2024-04-24T04:53:42Z

The audio was nice touch, especially the game over-views heavier music :rocket: The controls are funny and the particle effect and the skidmarks on the ground makes the crazy driving fun. For a long time I wondered why there was no new pickups to be made, until I realised I demolished the red building in the middle.... :D

The lawyer by RPGWanderer 2024-04-15T14:31:03Z

Holy moly! Did not expected to get back to work while reviewing the games!

Solid work there Jameson, Jameson and Jameson! Jameson is really impressed! Unfortunately Jameson had some issues to getting back to the portal after pointing a few Jira tickets for the associates, any idea what happened there?

You should publish the spicy hitmix somewhere! - Sami

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Bugged Off! by recursor 2024-10-08T17:35:41Z

Really neat mechanic! loved the repelling light-mechanic

Microstrike by TheSand 2024-10-09T07:45:29Z

Liked the controls and the variety of enemies in the game! The final boss was a nice surprise and accidentally cheezed it by standing still and shooting as the projectiles missed me. Maybe rotating the spawn points might help with this?

Also the camera was nicely used in the game! Well done!

Beefore the end by sebbernery 2024-10-08T17:55:20Z

Interesting player controller! liked the idea of controlling the bees, andd thought this could be imrpoved with some automation: like drawing a path, and then the bee will return the same way!

This would make it a bit more simulation game, and I think it might be very interesting!

Great job with finishing the game!

smolHunt by ping78 2024-10-09T07:18:15Z

Nice game! The meow-feature was a banger!

Really liked the animations and felt they were really smooth and well made. I found no reason to use the jump as it made the movement slower. Maybe it could make the cat faster or allow some kind of jump-attack with an area effect?

Cool cat and well done with the anims!

Whiskers of Fear by tinykidtoo 2024-10-08T06:04:05Z

The cats red vision is really good! I was sneaking around and could not see the cat and BAM I start to see the red light around me and I immediately knew there would be no food for the family today.

Good job with the atmosphere and audio!

A very small seed by vidarn 2024-10-11T10:30:20Z

Wow impressive Compo submit! The system works well and the art is very coherent and the simple anims bring it to life. The music and SFX are on point too!

Great work!

Crossfire by Jack D. Taylor 2024-10-08T17:14:41Z

Punishing game, definitely need to git gud before trying again! Felt the 1st level was very randomy to get anypoints/weapons, maybe he player could start with a random weapon every time?

Spoders Run by wupi 2024-10-14T11:06:54Z

I like the smooth movement an think you made a nice small game! The level has nice challenges and with polishing this will be nice game! Some possible features: spiders could create a web and climb up with it to reach places they cant get to otherwise. Adding audio will improve the experience a lot if you take the time to work on it.

Great work!

Cheeese Watch by Yorsh 2024-10-08T13:45:57Z

Woah! Really polished game with nice small surprises; the spiky enemies hurting the hand and pink-ones exploding really surprised me! Well done!

Some ideas how to make the game play more interesting; level design with different setups and goals. They might have exact spawn points to drive the player to try risky combos or even having obstacles.

Wonderful game indeed!

The Pasture by Fis 2024-10-08T17:10:15Z

Neat take on the match-3 and tic-tac-toe! Loved the arts andd all the tiny creatures and how happy they were when they got food!

Idea to improve for further; different levels when certain point count goes up, eg. when you get the 100p the level automatically goes to 4x3.

Great game, well ddone!

Rogue Creatures by Hare Software 2024-10-23T15:11:22Z

Really fun game to play! Seeing the tiny creatures moving around and finding their places is surprisingly enjoyable itself!

Adding sounds and more enemy types will make the gameplay more interesting. I felt the 1-2 first levels were the most challenging ones and wouldn't have mind if the game is more difficult. This might keep the player more hooked and play more and try different upgrades.

Great game for a jam!

Tiny With Power by filgreen3 2024-10-07T06:13:28Z

I like the minimal look and simple animations! I like how simple the the game rules are to explain, but mastering them requires trial and error. I think the enemy creatures are a nice add-on and afree with @missingpixel this game has lots of potential to expand!

Great game :)

PogoCombo by Mavvy 2024-10-08T06:21:41Z

woah this is great! The movement feels really good, the sounds are great and creatures are cute!

I wondered does the game end somewhere or is there some level progression?

Ladybird Samurai by ellaris 2024-10-07T11:48:45Z

Woaah really enjoyed this samurai game! The puzzles are fun, and the retry-mechanism is a lifesaver. Really enjoy the slow-mo and the delayed impact sounds!

Good job!

Welcome to the Jungle by ejunegao 2024-10-07T13:42:50Z

Loved launching the tiny ones to oblivion until same happened to me :D

Become A Hundred Thousandaire Or Have Fun Trying by AdamG 2024-10-08T06:13:20Z

Fun game! The start with only a few butterflies felt a little overwhelming, but the money doublers and net upgrades made the impact with upgraded creatures.

Good job!

Hang On! by Braulio_JG 2024-10-08T17:25:19Z

Great little game and really liked the annoying-mosquito-soundtrack! I wonder if the nets could dissolve in time? I accidentally shot the first one in bad place and felt like I lost it for quite some time...

Great compo!

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-07T06:01:13Z

Thank you @adamg! I wanted to teach the mechanics for the players in the game without having a wall of text. I agree the first levels feel a bit underwhelming, but the later levels are a bit trickier.

Thanks for playing :)

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-07T13:38:59Z

@ellaris thanks for the feedback, that was my intention to create but ran out of time for it. Will definitely add it after the voting period is over for Compo!

Will definitely add more levels to the game too :)

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-08T05:45:23Z

@ejunegao thanks you! Making all the audio was quite encumbersome, but I think I was able to capture the animals sounds in the end. I used a lot of time to get the first levels as understandable as possible, so really happy of this feedback!

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-08T05:46:40Z

Appreciate the feedback @arstotzk. I hoped the first levels to give an idea what to do, but I do agree, the first level could have some visual cue too!

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-09T06:08:54Z

Thank you @sviborg! I focused on the level design quite much to avoid longer instruction texts and wanted players to try something and retry. Thank you for playing the game!

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-10T06:38:41Z

Thank you @baconeta for taking the time to play! The quick restart is indeed missing from the mobile version, and I intend to add it there.

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-16T07:56:57Z

Thank you @tinykidtoo for the feedback and praise! I focused on the scope this time a lot and feel the end result is a nice, coherent game! Recreated the first levels multiple times to make sure players can learn the ropes with minimal instructions and I'm happy with the end result.

Wish I had more time for additional levels, but 48hrs is very demanding for compo.

Feeding the Farm by Zamizmi 2024-10-22T18:52:24Z

Thank you @bradur for the kind words! I wanted to make something cute this time and I'm happy you liked it. The first levels were made easy on purpose as I wanted to avoid any longer instruction texts, as I personally feel those are quite lazy game design wise. Glad the later levels provided more challenge!

Would You Still Love Me? by RachelfTech 2024-10-14T06:27:20Z

You've made a great experience to share in the 48hs! Great work <3

Tiny bots by Arstotzk 2024-10-07T13:37:30Z

Somehow the prompts remind me of Portals characters, not sure why!

Really enjoyed the puzzles even though the big level with only one swing and several characters got the best of me.

LD57 — Depths

Drill-Off by Antti Haavikko 2025-04-08T18:57:39Z

Wow, the level of polishing of game, interactions and assets is amazing! Took some time to understand the cooling of the engine (understood how it worked after reading comments)

Great stuff!

An Angler's Light by Yorsh 2025-04-26T13:20:50Z

This is great game! Simple mechanics to understand, but difficult to master!

Seed from Depths by Zamizmi 2025-04-07T12:31:23Z

@dstoc thank you for the feedback, thi sis valuable! I played the cannon part sooooo many times I felt it to be too clear what to do... Maybe I replace the first lever with a cannon + target, so it is more clear what to do?

Thank you for checking my game :)

Seed from Depths by Zamizmi 2025-04-07T12:32:19Z

@yohadams sorry to hear this! What browser you are running and at what point it crashes? These infos might help me to pinpoint the issue :)

Seed from Depths by Zamizmi 2025-04-08T08:38:18Z

@argensis thank you for the feedback! I definitely had hard time with the exports changes for input speeds; in the Unity editor the mouse was good, but in the web export it was lightning fast. Then I reduced the sensitivity, and the web export felt good, but now the editor was super slow :'D

Cannon is slow by design, but maybe I should take another look at it.

Seed from Depths by Zamizmi 2025-04-11T16:57:30Z

@yohadams after a very long debug session I was able to find out what was wrong; for some reason Unitys web export on higher quality caused a build, which does not work on some PCs.

I was able to fix this crashing issue, so now it should be in playable state :) Thank you for letting me know!

Seed from Depths by Zamizmi 2025-04-16T06:51:06Z

Thank you @gdman, I'm happy to hear the environment gave mystic vibes, that was my goal! Have to check what is up with the cannon :D

LD59 — Signal

Survey by mattlevonian 2026-04-25T09:35:58Z

Nice concept built over physics of waves (i guess)! Taking inspiration and building the mechanics over the real life phenomena is nice!

Gamification of the physics has a good start, and Im sure this could polished to a proper game, maybe even educational focus.

Nice submission with potential!

Alpine by RenD 2026-04-25T05:05:00Z

Lovely game! The art style, music and sfx and the feeling combined to the after-storm, out-in-the-wilds nature was really well executed! Feathers helped me to navigate the as well, while they gave a reason to play the game longer and trying to collect them all, well done!

Going through the story as a told story was heartwarming :) Great game!

Signal Back! by sinemual 2026-04-26T10:04:17Z

Quite fun incremental puzzle game! Had to read the instructions way too many times to understand how the rotation works.

I struggled first to understand when the grabbing was read correctly; I think there is some room to improve the feedback when a box is active,eg with a hover color.

Well done!

Screenshot 2026-04-26 at 13.02.21.png

TellyBuddy by ColeSlaughter 2026-04-25T08:06:28Z

This is proper art! The commercials reminded me of Better Call Saul, and that alone is _very high praise_!

The video edits and audio edits area really well done; no mishaps or tenth of a second too long or anything!

Great job!

Jim's Quest for Birthday present by Sobigdrasil 2026-04-25T07:25:12Z

You've made a very cute game! The art and sounds get together wonderfully, and the theme of a small kid trying to surprise their mother is heartwarming!

I noticed sometimes treasures spawned behind the store and they were unattainable; maybe some collision/spawn area mismatch?

Very nice game, congrats!

Parasignal by HagamosVideojuegos 2026-04-21T15:54:32Z

This was dope! Very interesting take on the theme, I love it! The setup and the TV reminds me of my childhood at the summer cottage, where NES was only allowed to be used during rainy days!

The signal events are well implemented and the physical knobs really sells the feeling with the audio and screen noise. Well done!

the_Core by remusnomos 2026-04-26T10:11:39Z

Very nice LIDAR shader (I guess)!

The humming was well executed and the controls felt natural. Reminded me of Outer Wilds!

Well done!

Signal Breaking by TopperVideoGames 2026-04-25T05:47:36Z

Woah quite a puzzle you've made!

Tutorial was lengthy, but I think it's necesssary. You addresssed it well with Radiohaed tho! - Undo would have been nice (im shamed to admit I misclicked more than once a wrong action in some levels and had to start over) - option to skip level; would be fun to play all levels, but not completing one does not allow to proceed - use actions with keyboard would be very nice QoL - on hover effect to highlight the selected column to make counting easier

Well done!

Lights of the Living Dead by Madbarron 2026-04-25T06:08:31Z

Woah, i really like the vibe of the game and the starting story is hilarious! that being said the game does depend on really tentacly-good players to get the controls to work. Not sure how to approach this with keyboard, but I have an idea for a controller.

With controller you select the lights you want to toggle with "circular selector" and you highlight the lights activated and just R1 to toggle them. Might work with mouse as well; hover the light you want to change and just click, with no keyboard.

I love how the game looks; it reminds me of GTA2 from ages ago; the lights and pedestrians take me back to GTA 1 and 2, especially 2.

Well done!

Deep Conversation by Paulsams 2026-04-26T08:21:26Z

Very cool game! The ambition level is really admirable and execution great; visuals and audio match very well!

I really like the eyes of the octopus, it really brings it alive.

Great work!

Coo-Coo, Chef! by poboy 2026-04-25T07:41:35Z

Lovely game! The ending was great. Reminded me of the Overcooked games, except better!

Remote pest control specialist by sledzik 2026-04-24T17:47:02Z

Lovely little game, with interesting take on the active vs passive challenge related to tower defence! Car driving felt fun, and it took me a while to understand why the drone existed; it was like a scout + tower builder.

Noticed some of the tower positions were fully useless, so that was a bummer. First 5 rounds were reallly slow paced, and then the difficulty ramped up to interesting level, and then I died...

well done!

Combo Cooker by WobbleBlocks 2026-04-26T07:32:12Z

Interesting approach for Signal, I had a bit of trouble connecting the dots to signal tho.

The idea and breadth of combinations was refreshing, but noticed some challenges (pic related) - recipes were acquirable even if the ingredients were not: Id combine the base ingredients to recipe unlocks so there cant be a situation where you actually cant even in theory complete them - Deck size grows too large => odds of hitting a specific rare card gets too low and therefore reduces players feeling of accomplishemt - Balancing will improve game: focusing solely on burgers + toasts was had really good ROI with the upgrages - Upgrades were _way too cheap_ - Shop UI is "broken" as some of the buyables are not visible: I recommend the check Canvas Scaler + Scroll-feature

Well done!

Screenshot 2026-04-26 at 10.12.18.png

RADIO CORE Last Signal by attentionadmin 2026-04-25T05:56:48Z

Interesting take on the tower defence genre! I was able to get to wave 6, but never further; I did not receive any upgrades (is this bug or not implemented yet?)

I considered the best apporach is to have 3-turrets in a corner since they have no range issues, to maximise DPS, and use other corner to maximise energy with the very limited hover-zone.

Increasing juice is a must have for such a game, and I really think the mouse-over is a great way to make TD-games more active! Well done!

RADIO CORE Last Signal by attentionadmin 2026-04-25T08:24:18Z

Sure thing, release related mishaps are tricky! Happy to play again if you get fixes alive, so let me know if update!

RADIO CORE Last Signal by attentionadmin 2026-05-03T05:13:16Z

@attentionadmin played the game again after your upgrades and these are great improvements!

I unlocked basically all the upgrades, but still didnt manage to find a way use robots. Not sure if those are even needed as I unlocked everything and the towers destroy everything with no issues.

If this is to be developed into more felshed out game I'd consider these - Balancing the game to more predefined levels, and keep the existing "endless mode". Make endless mode considerably more difficult - Music gets really repetitive, the high pitch violins especially. Also the loop is not perfect. - Game Juice is really needed; particles to be added when collisions happen - killed enemies can drop resources => adds layer to game: "do I want to collect it and risk inactive towers?" - Enemy variance: some more bullet-spongy, some more faster.

I really think the active-inactive towers activated by the player signal is surprisingly good! It works as a really good balance mechanism of resources with the energy.

Well done!

Cut Through by ZungryWare 2026-04-24T05:31:23Z

Woaah this is super interesting! Reminds me of the Wire! Really nice job with turning audio signal into a game mechanic, inspiring!

The Terraformer by Cloverfall 2026-04-22T16:22:07Z

Graphics looked lovely and the robot reminded of Daleks, great!

The lack of feedback for "unsufficient funds" was really frustrating in the beginning, and froced to re-read the instructions several times to get a grasp of how the game works and what is the goal.

Player control feeled very tricky and "worked" against the players will several time, maybe there is a sphere related bug?

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-23T13:53:41Z

Thank you @psevdonim for playing our game! My personal best is lvl 21!

Did you feel the difficulty was due to "unclarity" or unexpected unfairness?

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-23T17:40:17Z

@psevdonim thank you for the feedback! The "shooting self" in the early phase is indeed something that happens, but we tried to make it easy to restart to tackle this. Looking at different places is indeed tricky and we'll think about this, thank you!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-25T11:48:00Z

Thank you for playing our game @irkar and sharing your results!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-25T12:42:38Z

@ditam thank you for playing our game! I believe the Signal you are referring to is "Gun Run"? Its considerably weaker than the rest of the Signals without upgrades indeed. We ran out of time to polish the upgrade/Signal selector and therefore the amount of information when selecting is abyssmaly limited ;(

Thank you for the feedback!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-25T19:32:25Z

@ethernal-tech thank you for playing our game! Appreciate the feedback and kind words!

@grummelchen thank you for playing our game! Hope you figured out the targeting before sending the laser on the player!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-25T19:35:37Z

@kukaracila215 thank you for playing our game and sharing the feedback! We went with lots of symmetry in the map to make navigating easier. Also the top and bottom "tunnels" provide some nice choke points for area control.

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-26T08:37:10Z

Thank you for playing our game @boudichon! Thank you sharing the tutorial was helpful; it was one of the very last features and content we were able to cram in the jam!

@yoko-san thank you for playing and sharing! We wanted the nudge the player to move more freely, and noticed the more limited map felt more interesting as it enforces the player to make more decisions rather than running around in a circle/box

Glad you enjoyed!

@apt-prose7 cheers!

Thank you for playing our game @hagamosvideojuegos! Appreciate the feedback, happy to hear you enjoyed the challenge of multitasking; this was one of our goals!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-04-27T16:17:22Z

Thank you @venomousmouse for playing our game! The sounds are indeed a bit loud, but luckily the in-game menu contains audio setting (not the tutorial tho).

Thank you for playing our game @leophyte! There was lots of tasks on our TODO, but we ran out of time. Happy to hear you enjoyed the Operator classic: Laser Care ;)

thank you for playing our game @unreststudio! Happy to hear you liked our multitasking approach!

Thank you @sinemual for taking the time and playing our game! Hope you didn't blow to pieces from own orbital laser on the first try!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-05-01T12:42:07Z

Thank you @coderaurus for playing our game! Center point is left on purpose to allow player to cause friendly-fire; it forces player to know what is safer to self-shoot and what is not and it teaches the distances and timings each weapon has.

Canceling signal is indeed not possible at the moment; when did you feel the need for this?

We didnt have time to include meta progress or more enemies, but idea was to include different kinds of enemies, and the possibility to combo different weapons later.

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-05-01T14:20:14Z

@coderaurus touche :D This goes immediately to backlog for the expanded version. I now remember cases where I target Orbital Laser on my head and immediately understand the inevitable doom... Thank you for raising this :)

Thank you @13pilgrims for playing our game, happy to hear you enjoyed it!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-05-06T14:09:45Z

Thank you @daveco for the kind words! Do you feel the tutorial helped to "not shoot oneself" at the start? What you was still abit unclear after it?

Comparison to Helldivers is humbling!

Fire Support Survivors by Zamizmi 2026-05-07T05:07:47Z

@valb-soares thank you for the feedback and kind words! What kind of level progression you are after? Are you referring to levels like "maps" with different layouts or something else?

Too Many Goblins! by Tykki19 2026-04-21T16:07:53Z

Dope game! The soundtrack and sound effects are really! The incoming sounds of incoming airships and vehicles nailed the feeling and build anxiety.

I'd been happy to play more levels or somekind of eternal mode with increasing enemy amounts.

Great job!

Radiotower by Custodi 2026-04-28T12:26:32Z

My,oh my this was very hectic game!

No other game has pushed my pulse so high than this; the continous phone rings and incoming attacks combined was devastating.

I enjoyed the simplicity of the visuals; they were polished and very clear to read, while still well animated (the movement was fluid). The tower mechanic was really nice IMO, especially controlling the antenna. Id guess this would work well in mobile as well!

Well done!

Beacon Bound by Enryu Mirik 2026-04-26T06:25:26Z

Cool game! Refreshing take on the theme and I enjoyed the sandboxiness of the game! You guided the player well with clearly lit up places which pulled the players attention to wanted direction.

Grappling hook was fun mechanic and it worked well in the main loop! I was happily surprised to see the lighthouse was its own minigame, and well-connected to the movement mechanic!

Sounds and polishing was only thing I noticed to miss, and the rather short soundtrack got a bit annoying.

Well done!

Fellowship of the Signal Fire by OttoBroccoli 2026-04-25T10:42:31Z

The style is on-point and references to Tolkien is a nice touch!

UI in fullscreen is almost unreadable; I recommend to check the canvas scaler and set it to scale based on screen height, that often fixes this issue!

Balancing of such a game is demanding to avoid breaking existing features/levels. Therefore Id consider of separating the game in different scenarios so the impact of creating something too difficult is reduced to single level only.

Well done!

Cardboard Delivery Service by skale 2026-04-21T14:52:16Z

Love the vibe in the game. Diriving in the cardboard scenery feels nice, but the readability of the terrain was awkward at times due to the highly repetive texture.

Struggled alot to find the first tower with connection ability, and went past it multiple times before the collider/trigger area noticed the car and prompted the "E to connect". Maybe increasing the radius might help.

I felt the game is not sure does it want to be more puzzle game or more platformer-game; understanding when an approach was not working due to: my driving skills vs wrong approach was difficult to understand.

Camera showed too small area which lead to unnecessary collisions and frustration often.

Theme interpretation was really nice and the environment!

Once More In Ocean by Magnetism 2026-04-21T14:28:18Z

I love the idea of exploring the vast ocean with a boat. The lighthouse felt like the only reliable navigation point. I did not understand how to start the "go-here" sequence, and did not succeed to catch the first collectable as I did not notice it arrived.

The graphics and the feeling in the environment was well done! The steering wheel could have rotation so to imrpove the feedback.

Lost In Translation by Cornex 2026-04-25T07:00:29Z

Interesting approach for signals and I like the idea! The avatars and icons look really nice and are very readable. Game-wise having only 2 options each, is basically coin tossing; maybe visualizing some spider-graph for controlling different axes (jobs, peace, energy, food, nature) might give each choice more weight?

Well done!

Drum`n`Ice by PepeBrante 2026-04-24T06:48:20Z

I love the style of the game and the lore is fun!

The sound are great and the vibe. I struggled ALOT to get the timing correct, and felt the difficulty was due to input challenges: similarily as coyote time is for platformers, maybe something would be wanted here to give a small wiggle room for player.

i felt the different spells were not balanced; one did 10dmg while some did 3 dmg in the beginning. This gave the feeling I only want to play the strong spell. This got better after shop tho!

Signal from the depths by haker2377 2026-04-21T13:40:28Z

I liked the idea of staying in sub, and "not seeing" the threat while being able to "feel" it!

Engine noice is very repetitive and wanted to turn it off almost immediately. Sonar is great! Some kind of "game over" sequence would seal the deal and make improve the experience, eg white abrupt screen-to-black effect with crunching sound.

Great work!

Small Among Storms by ShanzPro 2026-04-26T13:24:32Z

Cute game with great graphics and audio!

Died way too many times to the last ground-spike at the root of the tree after the water. The controls were a bit too snappy, and would benefit tremendously from more fluidy movements with building momentum. Highly recommend to check https://deepnight.net/games/game-feel/ for ideas to improve movement.

Well done!
