I really enjoy how simple the mechanics are, but how complex everything else is! The art/sound is amazing, and all the extra little things (particles/screen shake/etc) really add up to a great game!
Feels nice to control and its a good challenge. I love how many different types of things are after the cheeeeeeeese and how each type gives a new challenge or ability.
Very good game! Nice art, nice gameplay, very nice sounds and music, and most importantly, very cute mice!
Very fun! Only notes would be that the range in which you can actually flick is rather small, so when things get hectic it can be irritating/frustrating to miss so frequently. Besides that, the sound is very well done for a Compo, as well as the visuals! Good work!

The action is really varied and all of these creatures after the precious cheese have a lot of personality. There's a lot of little touches to this entry, I can tell a lot of love went into this from the animation of the hand to the itch page design. :v: :heart:

@brotherbrody I agree, I increased the move speed toward the end but it made the flick a tad harder to hit than intended. Thanks for the feedback!
@mavvy Ahah yes I love to go just a little bit further of what is needed. It's probably not the most efficient during a jam tho. I'm glad you liked it!
The controls feel excellent, and just as I hoped, enemies can collide with each other, which greatly enhances the game’s playability.
I think it's extra hard to play this game on a laptop without the top-notch touchpad. If the hit area would be bigger (as someone already mentioned above), it would be easier.
I enjoyed the gameplay during the first speed stage, but I believe it gets increased afterwards. I'm always kinda bad at time attack games when time is basically against you. :D I don't have enough time to plan for the hits and combos, and eventually you will lose anyway. Even without increased speed, I think this game could spawn more enemies and the player will lose eventually all the same, but the feel of controlling the situation will be prolonged.
To give a comparison, the first speed level plays like a billiard of sorts, but the balls are moving. The next levels turn it into a shooter, when you can't really do much planning. :D Imagine if we could even slow time for a short while to plan for a great strike, and if bounce from the target would be displayed as well, doing longer combos would be easier. Perhaps it would be a completely different game, but it's something that crossed my mind after playing yours.
All in all, it's quite a polished experience for a compo game.

Almost a masterpiece. I really love this game so much: art, humor, audio (funny and funky), have a Pizza Tower or Roblox's Pizza Place vibes. Yes, game is kinda to fast and hard, but at all this is so polished and good game.
Very good, I like how effective yet simple the game is. Interesting how the game teaches you about combos with the spikies. Overall the audio and visuals are good, fitting the aesthetic you're going for.
As mentioned, the flicking was difficult at times.

Woah! Really polished game with nice small surprises; the spiky enemies hurting the hand and pink-ones exploding really surprised me! Well done!
Some ideas how to make the game play more interesting; level design with different setups and goals. They might have exact spawn points to drive the player to try risky combos or even having obstacles.

Wow this is really nice. The art and music was goofy but still well done and the mechanics were really engaging. Everything building on itself was really cool. Loved it.
What a lovely game! Gave me an aha moment once I figured out that I flick mice onto other things like the lil porcupine. Simple to understand, but so satisfying to try with all the combos and the score and everything, such a charming game that I have nearly no criticism for. Just promote your game more so people can play this great lil game!
Cute game! Tough at first but interesting to get the hang of~ Only critique might be that the aiming line for flicking is kind of faint! i think it could benefit from being much more visible / brighter, its an important key mechanic that should be super easy to see. Enjoyed the unique enemies with different lil abilities or defenses. Congrats on completing your game!

The animations, the sounds, the style! Super well made! And it was very fun to play. I really enjoyed bouncing the critters into each other, it was so satisfying.

Super fun! My high score is 418. The difficulty scales quickly, which I didn't like at first until I realized it forces you to rely on combos early on, which is actually great. You may want to consider locking the mouse and displaying your own cursor; I would frequently accidentally click outside of the game window in the web build.
@henk Congrats, that's about mine as well! Yes I considered doing these cursor things, but I wasn't sure how it would behave in the web version and was too lazy to try ahah. You are right tho, I'll probably make a small post jam version then.

Nice game and great graphics/sound effects! A little frustrating when the cursor goes out of the frame on the web version, so I enabled full screen and tada, no problem :smile:

Nice! Love the frame by frame animation and both graphics and sounds have some nice juice to them. Feels great chaining attacks. Maybe the background could use some color, especially since the mice and particles are gray as well.
@silkworm-sweatshop I agree, I initially wanted to draw a warm parquet floor. I got worried it would be distracting so I went for a low risk grey thing instead. Thanks for the feedback!

Okay, hands down this is awesome, I've had a tons of fun playing it. I'd appreciate if the game could be controlled only using mouse. I think I'd be better. But other than that Great!
