Great visuals and creative style! I wanted to use the jump and stealth mechanic more, but I felt the hardest thing was to see the mice in the dark. Loved the meow, It's the smol things that matter. :cat:
I never thought I can have a good time by killing mouses! I liked the sound of the cat. Some tips to maybe improve it - lower "fisheye" effect, your camera is very large - more light, finding the last mouse was very difficult - some music to render this game more chill, even if it's a murderer game :D
@johnbrynte @pierallard The issue with mice in dark areas mostly was due to a WebGL bug not showing an effect, but now it’s been fixed.
I really like the graphics and the smol killing machine in particular ^^ Great job!
Cute game, I really like the models for the cat and the rats. I wish there was more to the gameplay however. Besides that, Very good Compo submission!

Nice game! The meow-feature was a banger!
Really liked the animations and felt they were really smooth and well made. I found no reason to use the jump as it made the movement slower. Maybe it could make the cat faster or allow some kind of jump-attack with an area effect?

brutal. You did a good job making the character feel like a cat but I wish there was a bit more gameplay to take advantage of the cat mechanics
Very simple, but thats not a bad thing, it has a gameloop start and end, good job, Its a cute little game
Not sure what the meow is for. Would've been better to have kill on LMB and meow on E. An inverted option would've been nice too.

smol feedback: liked it, pretty nice! liked the contrast between the cuteness of the cat and the violence of the game haha. would love it to get expanded (go outside? interact with humans? there's so much to do!) feels a little limited right now but I understand that you have to cut your scope in game jams (I did the same haha). good job!
Smol game with cute smol cat with cute meow meow. Love it. Also the action-camera effects are really awesome and the kill-dash gave me smol Assasins Creed vibes.
@super-hadoken Meow is for two reasons: First, it's awesome; Second, same as Jump, it's illegal not to have it. Since kill is more like a finisher (like the Glory Kill from Doom (2016)) than an actual attack, it's on E, but an inverted option would've been nice indeed.
The set up is nice and there is a certain softness in the graphic models which has its charm. I don't really know what else to say x')

The murder particle effects are wonderful, it makes the game feel wholesome and gory at the same time, which is a neat mood.
Well, now I feel like a psychopath... job well done of making me feel like a cat :P Interesting and original experience I must say, kinda disgusted by the mouse killing sound, but I guess that's the point! Congratulations on your submission!
Great job! The controls clicked really quickly for me and despite the violence I found the whole experience really cute. My only suggestions for improvement is it felt like the cat's meows get cut off a bit quickly

I really liked the 3d models and general artstyle. Recently tried getting into 3d modelling myself and it will be a while until I reach this level!
The animations and particles were also really cool, the latter were unexpectedly brutal :skull:
Overall, a fun little game, with a decently engaging gameplay loop, and a very solid entry!

Great game! Getting that first kill got a big laugh out of me, after hearing the "meow" so much I was not expecting the the chewing sounds and blood effects!
Meowvellous game. one of very may Compo entries, you have my respect.
