Great job! The controls clicked really quickly for me and despite the violence I found the whole experience really cute. My only suggestions for improvement is it felt like the cat's meows get cut off a bit quickly

Peculiar Pickings by Dis0rder 2024-10-09T06:43:01Z

overall really enjoy the aesthetics of this game! your art has a surreal quality to it that really highlights the absurdity of the scenario, and the audio does a great job of contributing to the mood. won't add on criticisms because you're already well aware of what you didn't have time to add or refine, but you should be proud of what you built

Antopia: Battle for the Nest by Anaconda Games 2024-10-09T07:08:51Z

This is really impressive for 72 hours! I think my only gripe is I don't think AZERTY is a good default control scheme, since it overloads the A key you need for movement. Once I switched the controls to QWERTY I had a lot more fun.

I really loved the hub and the artstyle! It definitely felt like something I would play. Overall I think your player character feels good, though maybe the dash needs some refinement. That said, I don't think the enemies felt very well developed - even the very basic enemies felt like they wouldn't die to my attacks at all, and they didn't enter hitstun ever either. If you end up developing this into a full game definitely give some more love to the dungeons and enemies.

Overall the game is a really unique puzzle game! I think I would've liked better indicators on which coral I'm about to create (e.g. highlighting the coral on the left). I also wish there was the ability to edit the blocks I put down this turn (in case the player makes a mistake during their turn and would like to undo it).

Twilight of the Forest by Perrin 2024-10-10T05:15:37Z

I really love the art and dialog you've made, and I think if you make the battle system a bit more forgiving and maybe include a tutorial you'll have a really good game that I would play outside of a jam. I eventually figured out that the bar on the left builds up your MP, letting you do attacks/blocks/status conditions, but that wasn't until I died a lot. Also the bosses were much too difficult, I didn't feel like I really had any margin for error and I wasn't really sure what all of my moves could do besides the obvious ones like Wall, Block, Burn, Swipe, and Attack.

I really like the art and the overall vibes! I think my only suggestion is maybe some sort of indicator on how quickly customers are about to expire? It's a bit hard at times to tell when they're about to go poof. Also there's a bug going from the first level to the second, the customers never load.

Awakened from Stardust by FireFalls 2024-10-10T05:27:55Z

I really like the overall vibes of the game, it has a ton of charm. Unfortunately I really can't tell where damage comes from in the game, and I've also seen the bug some other players have had where health doesn't deplete all the way when characters die. I'm not sure what tactical changes one should make to beat the final boss, grouping up near the healer didn't seem to actually negate enough damage to actually win...

Your graphics and audio are good but win/loss conditions aren't communicated to the player at all. The gameplay concept is too simple and the controls are kinda finnicky
