well polished entry ! except for some sound that were too loud at the end ireally enjoyed your game. i think you did an amazing job with the time you had, the take on the theme is nice, and the animation are neat. great work

Great gameplay with a unique hook! Though the game did freeze a few times on the html version for me unfortunately.
the audio was loud but I enjoyed the game and the cutscenes! the boss fights were really fun my browser did freeze between boss fights though. the art is also amazing love the pixel art!

The boss before you play as it vs. after lol. The boss fights were really good, and the art is great as well. Showing the HP of the boss would have been nice. Aside from a few QOL stuff this game was really good!
Nice game! The concept is fun. I didn't think of keeping the mouse button down, so my wrist hurt after the final boss haha
I fought a psychic chainsaw beaver and I won. 10/10 no further comment.
Damn... I wish I was a beaver... Great game! It was really cool to see and use all the attacks yourself after you beat the boss. Would loved if there was boss hp bar, but it adds tension, I guess. The final boss fight drags for a little too long, but it's cool Second boss theme is an undisputable banger, enjoyed it very much! Didn't understood at first that you deflect acorns in the direction of your mouse tho
Very cool idea! Only complaint is the lack of a boss health bar. I wish there were more fights they were so fun :)

Great boss fights. Looks great too. Love the cutscenes and the music that changes with them. Really got me excited for the next round. It's a lot of fun. Fighting with a chainsaw-wielding bomb throwing beaver would be fun next :) It would have been nice to have a boss health meter
I enjoyed the game. The pixel art was perfectly doneโmy compliments to the artist. The music fits the gameplay wonderfully, almost helping you focus on the battle. Initially, I found the second level a bit too hard, but I figured it out. The mechanics are interesting and engaging. What I really like about your game is that it feels polished.

I think enemy hp bar isnt necessary like some others suggested, but some flashing when you deal damage like on the first boss would be nice. The last boss took me a few tries and I was thinking maybe I was missing something like I needed to make the explosions hit the beaver, but it wasn't clear if that was helping or probs not

Could do with a little bit of feedback when you damage a boss. 2nd stage wasn't obvious (I only realised my mistake when re-reading the page), and I'm still not sure about the damage for the 3rd boss. Despite shooting continuously, I had a few runs that ran into much later stages, but my winning run I won before it got too crazy?
Also, was I hearing *that* "oof" in the 2nd stage soundtrack?

Hilarious boss rush! It took me a lot of deaths to realize I had a dash and then later to realize I needed to deflect the squirrel's acorns to beat it. That squirrel is HARD after the trivial fire-fly beetle thing.
I only wished the bosses had a health bar and that the player's (admittedly juicy) health bar was a little smaller. The parasite takeover animation was nice.

Really good game. Had a lot of fun playing it. Love the music with the oof sound effect :) was nice and the boss fights were paced well. None felt too long or too difficult which is perfect for a Jam game. Great job :thumbsup:

Nice game. It was hard, but smooth and responsive, and the cutscenes were well done. Good gob. It took a while to figure out how to beat the squirrel. It was very much not clear what the attack was supposed to do. I always died instantly on the effect that splits the screen into quaters. The attempt I managed to win did not do that one.
Really nice concept, loved the evolution details and kinda reminded of Zelda's bosses for the boss patterns. A bit hard to play, especially on the trackpad, but loved the aesthetics, good job :)
