I must totally agree with @netmute It was so much fun but the controls just feel wrong.

I must totally agree with @netmute It was so much fun but the controls just feel wrong.
Wow that was fun! I couldn't stop playing for quite some time. You also definitely nailed the theme. One thing I would add is some kind of score or an end screen. I assume an end screen is hard with the current theme interpretation.
Version (Mac) not loading :(
Well.. was strange! Pretty fun game with a weird concept, good music and an unique art style. Also the first Lasso game I found.
That was surprisingly addictive. Was definitely fun, taking all their money. Cool entry for sure!
24 seconds!! That was a treat! Camera made me a little dizzy after a few tries but for the length of gameplay it was ok. Music was relaxing and I really wanted to get out. Great game with a fitting theme!
Leopardo Dafishi?! Awesome. The Voice acting was strange but funny. I couldn't solve the game but still enjoyed it.
The html version seems broken. I have the same issue as @johnsensei
I really enjoy tower defense games and I must say this was a surprise. I have never seen something like this. I enjoyed it alot.
I believe you can not beat the game, right? I wanted to play around with the towers a bit but unfortunately I die too quickly every time.
Very minor negative point is the "collect your money" thing. At first I didn't realise that I had to do that and when I did it just stressed me out. I could not read the tower descriptions, nor look at the enemies. I actually don't remember what the enemies looked like.. in the end it doesn't matter; I enjoyed this game alot!
Original Idea with great sounds!!
Snappy controls and a cool and simple take on the theme. I could not finish the game as it got too hard for me. Pretty impressive Compo submission. Some Sounds could do wonders but with the limited time that is understandable. Checkpoints were a great idea!!
I didn't understand how to create a loop. After reading your comment @thunderkerrigan, I finally understand.
Unfortunately the box keeps on spawning "Choo Choos", so even if I get a loop, the game would be over somewhere else.
Came here from a youtube video, from "Randomise User: The Best Indie Games". I LOVE the idea. It's so clever and fun. Would probably be fun in a multiplayer setting against a friend.
Once you have some strong ruins it gets a little easy but that's ok. Awesome entry. 5/5!
Add first I thought, this is way too easy but I must say it got a little harder. More levels would be nice of course. Another thing might be some different sounds or music. Overall a solid submission for sure
It's so frustrating but also quite fun! It's pretty hard to stay on track. I only got 3 Laps as my highscore. No idea how to beat the NPC. Cool idea with some fun graphics.
Watched it on stream and it seemed very hard. Very Maths based, so a little niche for sure. Good job still. Left a rating.
I explored 80% and lost. Poor hamster was unhappy at the end. Very cute idea with an interesting take on the theme. Enjoyed it very much! Keep it up.
It took me a while to figure out what to do and I didn't finish it. But I was a great concept!!
Thank you @daniikk1012 for linking the video. It gave me the chance to understand the game mechanic. I was completely lost and frustrated.
With a tutorial and a scoring system, this could be an awesome game.
I liked the design and colors. Dashing through enemies is fun. I didn't really use my "potion" ability.
@int thank you for your feedback. The launching on the edges was actually a bug which we decided to keep; It made for some interesting speed running possibilities.
@coryru thank you for the honest feedback. What exactly did you dislike about the level design? Was it the art, were they too easy or too hard? We are very grateful for feedback.
@coryru Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. Let's see what we are going to do with this in the future.
I really want to play it because of the screenshot. It looks interesting. Unfortunately I can't get passed the melon on the first dialoge screen. The "OK" button doesn't do anything.
Update: Pressing "Spacebar" lets you move on! Thank you @slavi
Feedback: Great concept with some funny dialogs, also the setting is quite unique. I would have never thought of a Melon god. I appreciated that the player was a dodo.
I got passed the tutorial and the first level but couldn't beat the 2nd level. The controls seems a little out of sync with the music. Maybe it's just the feel of it as you basically skip to the next frame instead of a transition. Overall interesting concept. Needs some improvements with controls and animations and you have a full game.
Love the idea, art, music, name of the game, gameplay. 5/5!! Great Job! Only suggestion I can come up with is to make a pause menu, where you can turn off the camera mode (like on main screen) and maybe restart if you had a bad start.
I LOVE IT. The artwork is incredible. The sound fits perfectly. The 10 seconds are not so "in your face" like other games. Original idea. Fun for a few minutes. Maybe an upgrade that makes you faster in the snow could work.
Small info: the menu does not work in full screen. But the game itself does, so that's good!
Well done game with a cool concept. Easy controls and easy to understand. Could use some more sound effects. Fits the theme perfectly.
CUTE CATS! 5/5!! What a cute idea with amazing art!!
Game jam during a hurricane? I hope you all are safe! Really enjoyed the game. The art gave me some eerie feeling and I liked the sound. With only a trackpad right now, it's quite difficult to finish the level.
Super original!
Super quick and fun game. More powerups could be added and I guess that artwork needs some updates as well. Overall good gameloop and the theme is there. Good job!.
high_score.png
Cool take on a classic game. Like the simple art style and controls. I definitely need some kind of rotation feature and maybe some different colors for the pieces as it sometimes was hard to see where I can place my next piece.
First up, what a nice nostalgic art and camera stlye! Love the theme that's going on. Quick to get into the gameplay and easy enough to understand how to play. Really really good game but to be honest I don't think it fits the theme of this Jam. I get that the moves cost "seconds" but it's basically just Mana as a different name. Great idea and execution though. Also a lot of content.
Small bug: I had to click "under" the attacks and not on them directly. I had to try to chose the correct attack without actually clicking on it.
Score: 120 Simple mechanic that works really well in that setting. I would also say the theme works in this game with the 10 seconds. My only problem right now, is that after a few seconds, you have most of the sheep in your circle and can just spam space to keep them with you. Then you gotta wait for quite some time before the next level starts. The meteors were a nice idea but didn't help.
Space didn't work for me in the first try. Had to refresh the page. I liked that the selling was only open every 10 seconds. I'm not sure what I can do with the money or what the end goal is in the game.
Overall it is a playable game with a unique art style and a very unique take on the theme.
Killed 72 mobs and survived for 2:22 minutes. Very very cool idea and execution. Fun platform shooter with chatotic upgrades. Pressing multiple times space makes you fly. Using only a trackpad, I have never really used the roll, would love to have it on another key as well.
Good job !!
Highscore: 12 Cool take on the theme. My brain won't work with the ever changing controls and it seems like you can't die. Interesting fresh way of doing an old classic. Did you work alone on this?
Really enjoyed trying to control the ship.
Score: 287 Wow! A fully playable game in a compo! You can be proud of yourself. Some animations would really bring this game to life.
It's a very stress inducing game that makes you sweat. Cool graphics!
I won! Yay! Day and Night Cycle with the theme works really well. Some more sound effects could have been cool. Otherwise a solid game.
Level 7 broke my brain!! Love the idea! At the beginning of the Jam, I was thinking that a puzzle game could be a good idea for "every 10 seconds" but I couldn't come up with a cool idea. This just hits the spot. Cool art, nice sound, simple idea that gets complicated quite quickly!! LOVE IT.
WOW! What a polished game. The credits stated a lot of people which sometimes makes it hard to pin point the exact vision. I feel like you all have accomplished that. I accidentally pressed ESC during a battle and then started again and had to watch the intro twice (luckily the intro was very well made).
Interesting combat idea and a unique take on the theme. I would argue that it's not 100% fitting to "every 10 seconds" but I still very much enjoyed the game loop.
Need to come back to this when I have a mouse (instead of track pad). I got only 4 orders delivered and my score is 0. Music and Art is amazing! I'm not sure if I understand what happens every 10 seconds. Great game and as you can see in all the comments, people love it!! Good job!
Sound effects work really well with this one. Enjoyed the game and it felt more relaxed than most of the other "10 second" games. Like the art style as well. Would love a level selection because my run crashed at one point and I needed to walk the whole way again.
@malai yes I did. When I got back, I believe I was at the start again or the game crashed. Forgot already what happened
I can't enter the map. I have only one resource and can buy the dash. Can I open the door somehow? Like the art style!
I was able to play 2 levels and enjoyed the game. You really need a few tries to get it done so balancing seems nice. Concept is quite simple but effective. I got an error while playing:
"An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was: TypeError: AudioListener.setPosition: Argument 1 is not a finite floating-point value. _JS_Sound_SetListenerPosition@https://v6p9d9t4.ssl.hwcdn.net/html/6611454/Build12/Build/Build12.framework.js:3:55361"
Got a score of 12. Really fun concept that takes some time to understand. Fun music and fast game pace. Good job!!
Sweeping game did not work for me. Nothing to do for 10 seconds. Otherwise an interesting concept and quite ambitious to do 3 games in one.
HTML version is not loading for me :frowning:
Message: " Unable to parse Build/GeometryBuild2Web.framework.js.br! Beautiful entry! We don't see enough good word games! This felt like a stressful rogue-like word game mesh. Really really cool. Found the bug with overlapping words which made the game harder. Still a solid entry!!
What an interesting use of perspective. It looks like 3D. Very cool! Would love to see a score somewhere. Love the soundtrack!!!
Fun to play. This could really well work on a multiplayer. Imagine if you need to be fast so your "friend" can't spy on you. Cool simple art style with a catchy tune. Well done.
Amazing music and some really cool climbing animation. Unfortunately I was not able to find a portal but had fun exploring the first level. Most people already mentioned that the camera needs some tweaking. Overall a very cool concept! Good job.
This is weird. At first I was confused, then I understood how to play. Then I thought, hmm this is quite slow and too easy BUT I still played for far too long. Then I died on purpose.. and get resurrected? OK OK maybe 10 more minutes  It was weird because I felt that it was too easy but I also couldn't stop playing. You somehow created a quite addictive little game. Good job.
Super cool concept!! Good job!
"Fixed a bug where customers would ask for unblended fruits in their drinks."
Love the bug (fix)!!
You were so many people! How did you coordinate to make it a cohesive experience? Really love the halloween spirit. Interesting art and music. Fun mini games! Good job.
Hahaha I love the theme. I was very confused in the tutorial level but after the first level I understood what I need to do and how to play the game. Cool sounds and artwork. Simple controls and a fun bark.
Why can I sleep? What is the purpose of that? Level 3 or 4 (the one with the steep drop) seems to be broken. I only see the background. I can still move but I can't finish the level nor the game.
I will rate based on the first levels I have seen.
I have a problem with the size of the game. It's too big, so I can't see the full game. What I was able to see was pretty cool. Enjoyed the simple controls and the "Jam" upgrade was pretty funny. Love some "random" upgrade choices.
Fun idea with nice graphics but I can't get to the 2nd platform.
This is your first game? Great job guys! It definitely needs some more work but you can be proud. I would say that the controls need to be improved. Also a short explanation of how you win / die would be great. Cute art and cool sounds!
My favorite entry so far! Great job and love the outro! If you check my (our) game from LD47, you can see some minor similarities.
Love this mechanic, art, music, and the theme fits perfectly. Well done!!
Ok I need to come back to this when I have a mouse. Fun idea and I like the shop. Cool easy graphics that just work. Very stressful!
Neat idea! Great game loop and a very confusing labyrinth. Took me a while for the first loop to appear (because I didn't "die" in the beginning) but once I saw a copy of myself I really enjoyed using my ghosts to kill the enemies and look for the other pillars. Great job! Maybe some upgrades could be fun and more engaging. Enjoyed this game!
Doesn't load for me :frowning2:
Made it to wave 17 and quite enjoyed it. We also made a TD game so I totally understand how the theme works here. It gets quite difficult quite quickly which is totally fine. Love the art style and the background music. Good job!
I was able to play. Looks like it hit the theme. Will check it again tomorrow once I slept a bit.
Loved the sound and time in the windows bar. Simple game that got pretty hectic quickly. Nicely done and seems like a finished game. Really enjoyed it.
Capture2.PNG
WOW. Simple mechanics well executed and fitting to the theme! Amazing. Even with a Leaderboard. So cool. No comments or improvements. Fun little game that I will come back soon.
A finished product! Congratulations. It probably needs some more content but for a 2 person team this is solid. It feels very polished and finshed in terms of what is available. I needed a minute to understand what is going on but I did get to a score of 10 and it was fun. Cool music and easy controls.
Interesting take on the theme and very unique at that. I did run into a few smaller issues and one bigger one.
Bigger issue was a crash. Report attached. Played on Itch.io
I could not control the side scrolling. I'd just fall over. I wanted to train the side scrolling but on my second playthrough I just had the top down view for like 15 - 20 cars in a row.
Good sound effects and nice graphics. Unique take. Good entry!

OK WOW! Rough around the edges but this has potential to be published to Steam in my opinion.
Clear gameplay that needs just a little bit of improvement. Maybe start off a little slower to really understand which ones are good items etc. Loved the graphics and the music is going hard! Played a couple of times actually because it was fun to try to beat my own highscore.
Only playing on a trackpad made it difficult.
Cool concept, art, music, game play loop. Good job you three!!
Screenshot 2023-10-03 at 11.22.28.png
This was fun! Nice idea, really well executed. Loved the SFX.
It was fun! The Art is amazing. Sounds are cool and atmospheric. "Welcome to Hell!"
Really solid jam entry :)
Capture.PNG
5/5! I normally don't play non-web games during the Jam but I saw this game on rockpapershotgun. Congrats on being featured there.
Really clean game for a Jam. Sound and SFX are production ready and the game play loop is cute. As others said, it's quite complicated to pick up and a slower tutorial would be amazing. Something where you have fewer options in the first rounds. But if you ever full release this game, please ping me here. I wan't to play this as a full game.
I have played a lot of Super Auto Pets so I did not need a tutorial. Really enjoyed this entry. I played it twice. Never won the first round though. :D
A-maze-ing! (pun very much intended) I think I have never seen Scratch for a Game Jam entry! Amazing. I have used Scratch years ago for my very first coding / game dev project and it was really nice. Never expected to see a LD entry with it. Good job.
Simple mechanic with cute SFX and many levels. I believe I stopped after 5 mazes as it did get a bit repetetive. I did enjoy watching the ants swarm out but would have loved even more ants.
Very unique game, and it's really fun how one can get into a rhytm and walk quite fast actually. Great entry
I wanna love it but I don't really understand what's going on. I'm at -1400$ and my only pilot makes 0 money on trades. What did I do wrong?
Love the name, the art, the sound. Super chill game and super impressive in 5 ours. Made it to level 7 where I had to go from -60 to +80 which seemed impossible. Fun game!
Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 13.23.58.png
WOW! What an ending. That came out of nowhere. It's so human to go to a new place, kill all the animals and steal all the resources and then be surprised that nature does not like it.
The game feels super polished. Like release ready polished. Super nice art and SFX and that voice over is everything.
Controls seems solid and feel nice. Easy top pick up and all. Amazing entry.
I saved Nebuville! Really great Jam entry, short and sweet. One main mechanic plus upgrades made it easy to understand. I do believe the game is a bit too easy but balancing is always super hard during Jams. Great sound and cute enemies. Good job!
Love a good Scoreboard. Made me try it again and again to beat some folks on there. Stage 4 was very hard but survived it once and got to Stage 8 which completely destroyed me. Really fun and compact entry!
OK this is both awesome and confusing. I will come back to this in the morning when my brain is not fried. Music is already super chill. And the looping mechanic seems interesting. The tooltips are not readable on Web but I guess that's too be expected. Def coming back to this!
As promised. I'm back and I am glad I came back to it. It's a great submission. I agree with what others said and some earlier levels that explain the mechanics would be great. Basically introduce us to how the gauge works and what the single tiles do. But for a jam and a concept. Good job.
@george-k we have a restart function when hitting the ESC key. You should be able to restart any level. Appreciate the feedback
We really appreciate all of your comments. We keep sharing them in our discord whenever a new comment comes in. We are very sorry for everyone that is experiencing the crash. It seems to be the first shot in every level that causes the issue. It's not happening in our debug godot build. We are investigating it and we hope we can fix it soon. Hope everyone had an amazing Jam!!
@korzhik I love it! Thanks for sharing this screenshot. That's what we wanted to see!
@wyvex thank you for your kind words. It means a lot.
I got so close. I'm a sucker for any game that gives me a score. I almost had you. Really cool concept. The dash SFX got quite jarring after the 2nd or 3rd run trying to get a highscore.
380.PNG
Congratulations on your first game. A game jam as a first entry point to game dev is bold. You can clearly see that you worked hard on this. I will try to be brutally honest now in the hopes the feedback helps for future development:
- The base implementation, movement and idea is solid. I can see where you were going with this - Art is very cute and consistent. Good job on that. - The game runs smoothly
- Missing sound. Some soundtrack and SFX would greatly improve the feel of the game - Some goal - I was running around for a bit without a goal, I assume this was due to time constraints (I'd recommend to focus on a single mechanic in the future and build a game around that)
Add some more information to your Game Page. This is where we get to know your game. Upload a screenshot, tell us what the game is about and most importantly how does it work? Which buttons can we use etc.
Good job! I don't want to sound negtive at all. 2 People that never developed a game before and then being able to actually submit a game is a huge success. Keep it up and good luck with the play testing.
I was happy that I got to save the Kids! It's funny, my team and I also discussed something similar with echo location but decided for something a bit more simple. Really appreciated this game as I love this idea. The SFX gets a little jarring over time but the mole is cute and the static level seems really cool.
I reached 400 for a split second, tried to grab a screenshot and lost the game.
Really fun game that get's quite intense.
My question to you is now, can you beat my highscore in my game? (My Highscore is 34974) The fewer shots and the fewer creatures you use, the higher your score. You can restart levels from the pause menu. Love to hear from you.
Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 15.20.46.png Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 15.20.59.png
Ok you need a soundtrack and you have a full game! Perfect learning curve to get to know the game. The wall of text was a bit much in the beginning but I understood it quickly. Without a soundtrack the beginning was a bit boring and I did only play it once because I did not want to start over with only 2 slow lanes. Level select and soundtrack and you can release it on Steam :D
Art is really clean and the base mechanic is there. The drill was cute but kinda useless. The attack range or the animation needs to be tweaked I believe. One life is very brutal :D I got to 11 and died.
Did I break the game? Yes. Did I enjoy every moment of it? Yes? The soundtrack is so simple but still a banger. I think detaching should be when letting go of left click instead of E.
I destroyed that office. Solid entry.
break.PNG
@Kirass played our game, so I thought i'd return the favor. The problem? I hate horror games but I tried it out. I was able to collect 3 toys but then I saw something in the window of the room and quit the game. I guess the game did what y'all intended :D Good job on that. Really fun entry. Super easy to understand.
Cool concept with some chill music. Would love to be able to drag the items that I place to sort my board a bit.
Insane! Art: Amazing. Music: Super chill. Gameplay: Interesting but too hard for me. I couldn't get past the first enemy type thing. I probably tried 10 times but he always got me. Overall love the game! Good job.
Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 13.27.40.png
Don't know what happened here. It took me a minute to realise that you can move to the right with your mouse. Maybe add it to the desccription? Cool entry. Love a good TD game.
@p3ngui I started in the windowed mode on my MacBook in FireFox and then realised that it's a bit cut off. I then went into full screen and everything looked ok. Then I put a module on a tower and it went like this.
Oh that makes sense! I wasn't able to read the UI as it was just a blank screen except for the ö and ß. Same as for @antti-haavikko
You added the itch.io link under "Windows", you might want to update that. The Parallax background loads slower than the player moves. (We had the same issue and finding the background sprite and unchecking "centered" fixed that for us in Godot).
The Sound was cool and the character movement was really smooth. Attacking didn't seem to work for neither Gemini nor the Virus so I can't say too much about the game. I think it's ambitious to do two characters but I can see where you were going with this.
Overall not a bad entry, just some small tweaks needed I think.
Good job on this entry. Really cute game with a nice story. I'm not sure how the little red candies work but I got to the end and had fun getting there.
I was only able to get one sock. Great entry with the best pun in the title! Good job. No real notes. Game is playable with tricky puzzles.
You did THAT in 3 days? Congratulations! This is truly amazing. It just works so well as a concept. There is so much room for improvement and I don't mean this badly. It's all working but some mechanics are missing.
I was trying to get some Wealth because I really really wanted a bunch of dwarfes. After reaching the last layer I realised that there is no Wealth :(
Also an indicator on how many dwarfes are running around would be neat.
result.PNG
Well what can I say? I stayed normal, got banished, became a knight! Took me minute to figure out how to properly play this but as you can see I played it a couple of times.
Good job. Def missing some audio.
310.PNG
OK this is insane! How did you even test that this works? What! It took me a minute to realise what this is and how to use it but I got there in the end. Really impressive and very meta lol. GG
WOW! Good job. Simple but very very effective. I can see people speed running this! Not me, as I'm bad gamer.
CHOMP! This was great! Love the intense sniffing screenshake! Amazing art and vibe. Good job!
I played it for much longer than I first thought I would. Cool clicker game with cute art and SFX. Great job!
Seems to be broken for now, will check it out later.
Unique concept! Cool art, chill music but once more than 3 letters come out, it felt a bit overwhelming. Overall a charming game.
