It's a good explanation to the "Every 10 secs" theme, the earthquake, or the "Disaster of Every 10 secs" idea is great. But the Jump function didn't work properly, I usually get stuck on the wall and cannot jump any more. I believe the game will be much more interesting if this technical problem could be solved,
Fun idea with nice graphics but I can't get to the 2nd platform.
I love the music! Really atmospheric!
I like the graphics and the idea of an earthcake every 10 secs. But I had trouble beating the game, I might have missed a mechanic, maybe we can't jump infinitly ? cause same as Cortex I got stuck on the wall multiple times (And by the way, the embed version isn"t working for me :s)chrome_p9fO9tCOCM.png
Short sweet game, wish there were more levels! Controls where good, but sometimes I would fall of a platform while I was clearly pressing spacebar. The graphics are cute, but lacked some variation in my opinion. I don't know if there was time to add some greenery near the top for instance? Of some other colors? The music and sound effects are very well done.
I see this is your first Ludum Dare entry, great job! I had fun playing yours and that is the most important factor of a game in my opinion. You can be proud!
I happy to see the feedback Thank you everyone for your support. We try our best in the next game jam.
Key to jump from the wall = press the right/left arrow first and then press space bar/up arrow to jump on that direction.
Nice game! I really enjoyed trying to get to the top but think there are a few misses. It's quite hard to know what is a "perch" and what isn't. Secondly, and I suppose this is the bigger concern- the controls often simply don't work. I understand that the arrow key must be pressed first, but as a user it still feels a bit clunky, especially given the *very* unforgiving time limit (I think something like fifty-seconds to a minute would have been a better choice). However, as I said, I still had a lot of fun, so good job! :D
Nice job on getting this across the finish line in only one weekend! Would love to see some of the controls polished up, as sometimes it felt like my inputs were not being received by the game, for example when trying to jump off a wall. Great effort!
Nice small game!
The wall jump is hard to get at first, but once you have it it feels nice. I managed to end in 16 seconds after a good numbers of tries!
I think the hookpoints could be more visible, it's hard to see them or understand what they do at first.
For a first jam game, it's very impressive! It's cool that you stick to something simple and didn't try to make a big level or some complex game.
Pretty cool game! I think adding more levels and fix the gameplay could make a great post jam version!
Great idea, and really challenging too! Well done!
checked this out on my stream :) [Here's a link to the VOD](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1619345236?t=2h39m00s)
the game has a great idea and the theme of ten seconds is really some mechanic that forces the player to strategize. But sometimes the character didn't jump when it was supposed to, or it didn't bounce off the wall as I wanted.
I enjoyed playing this one on stream, here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1619874558 Thanks for submitting! ^^
not so sure i did well, but i tried so hard! Took me a while to figure out the spikes were the same color as the background.
Nice game!....I am finished in 13 seconds @ 5th attempts. I am challenging this game programmer to beat my score13seconds.PNG
11seconds.PNG Hi I am playing again this game , finished @ 11 seconds.
Actually best possible score if not cheating :Kappa:

@kuviman im not cheating... just tried lot .....see the previous screen shot.... don't stop in any hooks except the one at the end...you can complete in 11 .... keep trying Man
It took me a while to figure out how the game works but eventually my best time was 15 seconds. I'd like to be able to restart the game with keyboard (e.g. spacebar on death) because mouse is only required for menu navigation.
Well done finishing a game! I like the atmosphere. The player, the cave, the sound and music are well done.
I would have enjoyed it more, if players were able to find their own way to the top, but afaik there's is only one route which you have to follow. You also can't see where exactly the player can hold onto.
And jumping up the wall feels a bit random, because pressing the space bar does not always register. Would love to know if this was intentional or not.. :) Also a bit of control while jumping would be nice even if it may be a bit unrealistic.
Good job nonetheless!
This looks nice, and I like the idea of having to stop every 10 seconds or get shaken off, but I feel like it needs work. As others have stated, the jump controls are a bit finicky: often, when you try to an arc jump, you just fall off the wall. The 35-second time limit before you lose isn't mentioned anywhere, so you don't know it exists until you reach it, and it just feels really unsatisfying and arbitrary, especially with the control problems.
The game also feels much too short. I don't mean to sound too harsh here, but I'd honestly expect a team of three people, working in 72 hours, to create a game with more than 30 seconds of content. It's in desperate need of more levels, or even just a longer level (and ideally without the time limit).
I love you managed to finish the game with proper menus and endings. It is something that usually is dropped during game jams.
I felt like climbimg is a bit unintuitive. I didn't quite understand why sometimes I could jump and sometimes I couldn't. I guess it is something like stamina management but without indication it is hard to read. Nevertheless, nice enrty!
