I liked the music and the themeing for the game, I liked the tree puzzle and the club(?) puzzle.
The character and camera controls could do with a bit of tweaking, the camera seems to have a mind of its own when im trying to move it in certain directions and the character doesnt stop very quickly after letting go of a directional key.
Other than that, I really liked the animation flow for the character and the way the climbing/stepping up feels. Good Job :)
Very cool theme. The music and ambiance gave me Elden Ring vibes. I have the same feedback that dollcoded mentioned

I'm not sure if it was just my end or by design, but the camera controls seemed to be locked at a flat angle, so I couldn't really look up or around properly to try and see the portal - so I just had to pick a path and hope for the best. Would be good if at least at the start you could have a look around and decide where you're heading before you get lost climbing to it. Nice work!
Very cool esthetic.

The music is great! The camera's a little hard to control though, as people mentioned. It's also possible to clip through some walls by spamming spacebar at them, although only some of them.
Hey all. I agree with all of you on the camera being, well not so great. I succumbed to the mental fatigue of the jam late last night and didn't bother tweaking the camera. I appreciate all the feedback and will work on a better camera controller for future use!

Impressive and ambitious game! I wasn't sure if there was a way to adjust the camera angle - I had some trouble with that and the lighting. I also ran into this glitch in the first few seconds where my character fell through the corner of the room and into an abyss. Diagonally.PNG
I have to agree with the other comments -- the camera controls really need some work. But the play controls work fine! Nice little ambient game.
Very cool graphical style and feel. Strong music choices, and a lot of build clearly went into this just for the jam. As mentioned above, camera was pretty touchy, which was not ideal for the genre, but I see you've acknowledged that - always room to improve! Great work - thanks for sharing your output.
This music awesome

Amazing music and some really cool climbing animation. Unfortunately I was not able to find a portal but had fun exploring the first level. Most people already mentioned that the camera needs some tweaking. Overall a very cool concept! Good job.
the game has a lot of bugs, for a jam should make something simple. spend 3/4 time to make the game and 1/4 time to "PLAY TEST"
This game can be really good, for the next time don't waste your time in different maps, do only one and do your best in it.
The control can be better but for a jam it's ok, it's playable.
The music is awesome.
Nice game, altho most of the time i was confused about what im doing (i guess that was intended)
The lighing was either broken or something else was wrong i dunno
Nice job getting climbing working!

Music was great! The "diagonally/start" level I found a little disorienting as walls blocked off the camera view with a lot of clipping but I enjoyed exploring the stones and tree environments. Also, looks like your embedded ldjam version isnt working? Got an error with index.html not found!

Nice game, but the lighting seemed a little too bright on the web version which was making it a little hard to see.
To all I appreciate every bit of feedback. I learned a great deal from this experience and see the value of starting small and fine tuning every detail. My journey is still in its infancy and your feedback has been invaluable. Thanks to all. GLHF on your journey.
