This game is super nice, but is too complicated for me
Also you should make a web build if you can, post people prefer not to download anything.

Such a cool concept! Very nice presentation and juice, congrats for your entry :)
5/5! I normally don't play non-web games during the Jam but I saw this game on rockpapershotgun. Congrats on being featured there.
Really clean game for a Jam. Sound and SFX are production ready and the game play loop is cute. As others said, it's quite complicated to pick up and a slower tutorial would be amazing. Something where you have fewer options in the first rounds. But if you ever full release this game, please ping me here. I wan't to play this as a full game.
The game is really polished: the animation, sound, and overall execution are excellent! My only minor issue was the font, as it was a bit hard to read. Overall, though, this is a solid entry!
Really nice game! The polish is incredible as always, and the game itself is really good and engaging. Same as Div00 I found the font a bit hard to read for such a game, and maybe there was just a bit too many creatures? It might have been easier on my tired brain with a few less families or weird effects 🔥 Really solid game anyway, great job!
Very polished, and quite fun! I really enjoyed the amount of complexity in this game, and was surprised at how many creatures there were! 10/10!
Excellent work. Music was perfect, animation of the tiny creatures was clean and emotive. I want to believe that there are a lot of emergent strategies, but there may have been a couple too many families of cards for me to keep track of. I found myself going back to cards over and over again to optimize my decisions. Perhaps more time would have helped find the ideal number, and perhaps I'm below average in my short-term memory!
Also, am I correct in reading that you made a completely different second game in the same 72-hour period!?
Hello shotgun chess guys! Put up some screenshots, you'll attract more eyes!
An interesting take on deckbuilders! The game looks polished and already could be a demo on steam.
I found difficulty curve too steep. I had problems beating the second level because I wasn't aware of all mechanics and synergies.
Well, this is... amazing! After a few games, the rules really clicked and it's just crazy how varied the strategies I've seen were, so far! I'm at awe with how far the polish was pushed too, with each unique effect being essentially complete... good job!!!
@defrag they are a team/collective, and formed two different teams for LD - although pentadrangle was on both!
First of all I have to point out the level of visual polish (_juice!_) in this game: nothing is static, the cards move smoothly to the right locations, and the creatures sprites even have their own animations. It's stuff that we take for granted in card games but is really hard to deliver during a jam. I have to imagine you polished things as soon as you added them and not at the end (which is what I tend to do as well, even though it costs me )
Now, full disclosure, I am terrified of these card games. They have way too much information for me to digest and I can never keep track of my full hand. Nevertheless I forced myself not to give up and I beat the first, uh... _two_ levels. And only some of my successes were sheer dumb luck!
It's surprising to see a game that largely plays during the draft phase, whereas the actual battle is almost instantaneous. It did make it hard to figure things out in the first level: you are told to pick the right cards, but none of the descriptions make sense to you since you haven't seen a battle yet. Maybe it would help to show an explanation of scores, and how combat works in general, before the initial draft phase. I'm still a bit confused by the combat itself, even though I eventually got that you need to match your opponent's score at every turn.
The descriptions could be a little clearer in general, I think they just lacked a bit of proofreading. For instance, I couldn't really tell what the "Scare your creatures" mention was about. Still, once you actually understand how a card works and use it at the right time, it is quite satisfying. It reminded me of one card game I did play for a while, [Pocket Crystal League](https://moodytail.itch.io/pocket-crystal-league).
Congratulations on your entry! It's an impressive amount of work, I can see how much content I've missed (on account of _sucking_).
I have bad eyesight and the font is hard to read :( The game looks fun otherwise though.
Very good game! a bit confusing at start, but very fun and creative. kinda reminds me of inscryption, but cute.
Fun little strategy game! I really liked the tiny sprites for the cards.
a nice styled card game, pretty cute sprites!
In principle, an ordinary concept, but very beautifully done, although overly complicated, in my opinion). That is, you can assemble your dream team, but for this you need to think about each card, because it can affect different types, but not only one archetype or something like that.
