I honestly didn't understand how to play, in the sense that I didn't know if I was moving at all
I liked the idea of staying in sub, and "not seeing" the threat while being able to "feel" it!
Engine noice is very repetitive and wanted to turn it off almost immediately. Sonar is great! Some kind of "game over" sequence would seal the deal and make improve the experience, eg white abrupt screen-to-black effect with crunching sound.
Great work!
Uhm, I'm not sure on how to play this game. I managed to figure out how to do the navigation but I couldn't get to the SOS signal on the map. :( I guess the brown dot's the monster tho.
The game looks nice, i like the way interacting with the things works
Very moody and easy to get into, I like it :)
But yeah, the engine sound gets repetitive very fast, I wish I could turn it down a bit.
And it took me a while to realize I lost when the monster caught up to me. I was wondering why I got TP'd in the middle of the submarine :joy:
awesome mood. the claustrophobia was palpable and the textures were well used. You sold the sounds really well. Where did you get them or how did you make them?
I know you know that there are browser issues, but my only big issue was how the cursor seemed to not lock properly and so whenever I would make a left turn, my browser would scroll down (Windows 11, Brave Browser). I'd also give the intro text a "click to continue" because I missed it a bit.
I was happy to find the walls didn't instantly kill you. It was a good length and challenge level for this kind of thing.
I really liked the feeling of being trapped in the submarine, navigating in the dark. It leaves room for the imagination, and that's great. Honestly, the monster's scream really brings it to life.
This game really give the mood of being stuck in a submarine trying your best to escape without ending up in some monsters stomachache. Was somewhat hard to control, but that felt like it was part of the game - only thing that bugged me, monsters came as soon as i started the engine, making me stop right after - then they just camped me for quite some time... so i made baby steps followed by getting camped :v Overall fun game and cool graphics!
Great atmosphere! The monster sound effects really nail the horror vibe. It feels awesome.Feels like it's right on top of me. I'm digging this
It was tough to get a hang of, but this was super cool! I'm guessing you were inspired by Iron Lung. There's some polishy things that need some work, but the core experience is great.
