Welcome to LudumDare ! I hope you have learn plenty of stuff and you'll do better next time :).
Thanks!
I had some issues placing the tiles, I couldn't get past it. Cool game though
Thanks! Sorry about the issues, I think that was because of the bug that prevents placing items in the hit box of other items. I just don't put them right next to each other (even though it looks terrible that way)
Interesting idea. Snapping tiles together would make that system a bit neater to use, maybe a snapping grid in general.
Interesting concept but some bugs with the tiles made it impossible for me to progress far into it. Congratulations on actually finishing something for your first Ludum Dare though, I hope you return next time.
Ran into some bugs with being items disappearing from the store and glitched placement. Also would recommend having the name of the item pop up along with the price, wasn't sure which the tiles were.
But welcome to Ludum Dare! it's a ton of fun and I still fondly remember by first.
This game is not particularly fun to play due to the amount of glitches. :(
However, I will say congrats on making a good UI - that's something that a lot of first-timers don't do. :)
I hope you had fun with your first LD and will participate again! :)
Thanks for your comments everyone. I like your ideas and if I get around to it I will implement them (as well as fix those bugs).
Couldn't place the titles (in HTML5 verision).
It's a funny game, but I hope you will fix the bugs :)
An interesting idea, something I could see as maybe a game for small children. You could have some intelligence as to how it checks challenge completion, so rather than just amount bought eg tiles should be contiguous at bottom, cushion goes on chair etc.
