The game doesn't run on its own. You should probably compile the game as a standalone application. I can't judge it if I can't play it.

@TrampolineTales: I updated the description page, it contains the MacOS and Html5 builds along with the hosted version of the game.

I think the idea is great, Ive never played as a fly before. I think the execution was a little lacking though, for these reasons.

1. The speed / pacing was very slow. Flies are quick suckers! And they have quite elusive maneuvers- Barrel roles and cut sharp turns etc. Some of these mechanics would be fun to play with as a fly

2. The lack of challenge- The enemies short reach just made this too easy. You stay above them and you win- not much to it.

-I hoped that there were more challenging levels ahead but the game ended after I flew out the window-

All in all I think you did good - Of course if you added more levels you would be adding more rooms which would make you not aligned with the game jam- unless you found a creative way to keep using the same room some how-

Great job on entering the Jam and completing a project. Keep up the good work! You can only get better from here!

This is a neat concept :)

Wow I must say that I'm impressed with your comments, thank you very much ! To be honest I lost so much time getting to know Haxe + Flixel, I've been writing JS code for the past few years and got beaten by the strong typing ...
I am planning to add more features to the game, change the ugly sprites, add some real challenges with enemies that can actually kill you (like a ceiling fan that either pushes you towards the humans or that sucks you and kills you).

Anyways, thank you for the constructive comments !

Cool idea! But winning the game was too easy, just fly along the ceiling. :) Don't even have to get the "coins" (?). BUT you made something! And that´s cool! =)

Ludum Dare are a very good way to learn new technologies, it may have been better, for example, if humans were able to jump (to kill you when on the ceil), but I guess you missed time to finish all what you wanted to do. By the way, welcome in Ludums, don't forget to participate to the next one ! :)
