I had fun. The trail was very cool. Biggest problem for me was the amount of pretty pointless levels. There was a lot of repetition and not many cool new mechanics were introduced. To be honest I have no clue how one could get stuck on a level, because they were so easy. I'm not sure if it was intended or not but you could kite around the screen to bypass all the rocks easily. Also sometimes the level ended even when I didn't get all the meat. Some difficulty could be added by creating some sort of timed moving obstacles or something.

@verttixpertti thank you! it was much much harder before first playtests. i reduced hitboxes drastically just before submitting
Super cool concept! Really liked the sprite work and drawing mechanic! Some of the levels looked super cluttered, but really liked the progression! Goo work!

Funny game, at first I thought that it will be a visual novel but my thoughts were changed. A little chaotic game, but has its climate. Was it designed to be able to throw the axe out of the window, ignoring most of the obstacles?

What a great game! Core gameplay is so satisfying and cut-scenes keeping me engaged through whole game. I'm so happy that you made this game :)

I really like how you use repetition and your base mechanics to tell a story. It was a bit harsh to play and lacked some polish in the gameplay, but it definitely has something to say and that's so cool. You really use the medium specificities and made something special.

I'm not really good with interpretative stories, but I wanted to see the ending anyway. Thanks for keeping me engaged until the end :)

Great work! ^^ the mechanic works great, I think the story was about someone fighting to stay alive maybe?

Great job, i love the mood and story behind. It gets a bit repetitive, and i like harder game. But i'm sure you did the right thing making it more accessible. It's always hard to find the right spot ! I like the design and sound design too ! Again great entry !

Neat game. I like the idea of telling a story by gameplay and actions rather than scrolling through text, though I think in this game that story could be conveyed more "efficiently", i.e. with fewer levels/less filler content. Given that the "gameplay" itself is just about drawing lines, it might have been nice to have more of a puzzle aspect to the levels, e.g. to figure out the correct sequence of hitting targets or something similar.
A simple concept and really well executed! Honestly I liked the simplicity of the puzzles, it made it easier to focus on the story and try to figure out what the figurative message was, I had a great time! Side note - I think I cheesed a couple levels on accident, it seems like you can start drawing on the inside of the screen, and move your mouse outside, and the line continues, but maybe that was the point on the last level? Either way, great job! I would love to play a polished version if you decide to keep working on it

You can move the cursor off-screen which trivializes the puzzles. Other than that, I love the gameplay concept (although I wish it was more expanded upon) and it's the first game this event that gave me some inspiration.

Very simple but fun puzzle gameplay. The tension and mood of the story is very clear, even when the story itself is a bit vague. I really like the art and crunchy sound effects as well. Cool stuff!

That was pretty intense. Even without context and minimal dialogue, this game was pretty thought-provoking. Though forgiving, there were some challenging shots, and I had a lot of fun! Great job! where.PNG
Is a nice idea with a strong basis, I would like to expand on the story and the extra challenge that my weapon can only take X amount of hits, so you have to take so interesting decisions on when to sacrifice it. What about if the weapong works like a boomerang...

i didn't really understand the story but it was fun playing anyways. i loved the twist where you had to collect the stones instead. a really unique game!
I love it! It is so mysterious and abstract, something quite unique for a jam. The graphics are wonderful and fit the mood. The story is engaging. Great work!
Fun experience, I like the concept of mechanics telling a story, and playing with codes (hearts that become an obstacle for example). Very good entry, congratulations !
