That's a fantastic game! I've been stuck in it for the last 2 hours... I hope you polish it up after the compo - there's something super cool about it.

DeviSerene 2012-04-23 21:07

A great game, very fun, something I'll share with my friends. As the other poster mentioned, I hope you continue to work on it (and other games!) afterwards.

robcozzens 2012-04-24 00:59

It didn't seem to be loading.

sharbelfs 2012-04-24 02:26

I could not enter the site, looks like its off. I am from brazil

lawrence-esswood 2012-04-24 10:36

Sorry, hosting site was down. please try again!

gornova 2012-04-24 13:56

awesome!

lacutis 2012-04-24 23:29

Very cool game, I like what you did with it. I wish there was a way to knock a planet further out of orbit once its locked in though.

lawrence-esswood 2012-04-25 10:30

Fire another planet at it, or use the shockwave spell!

galman 2012-04-25 10:45

Great idea! If you'll add some more objectives to the game it will be super fun! Great Work.

mark_ffrench 2012-04-25 10:47

So much fun to play with! I couldn't work out how to get more stardust though?

lawrence-esswood 2012-04-25 10:53

Planets with life sell for more stardust, get a few K people on a planet and you will be laughing.

spooks 2012-04-25 21:21

This is one of my favourite entries! Perfect for the theme. It was a little tricky to get the hang of it, but I love it, great job!

jiddo 2012-04-25 21:22

Nice game. Who would have guessed that playing God would be that entertaining? The UI was a bit laggy for me tho and I'm not sure why. But it is a very nice concept. I'd love to play a version of this with more stuff in it.

thegamingproject 2012-04-25 21:48

Very addictive. Definitely keep going and polish up what you have. Great gameplay mechanics. My only gripe was that there wasn't really anything to 'prep' me as to what I should be doing when I started.

lawrence-esswood 2012-04-26 13:31

What about... THE SCRIBBLE TUTORIAL. No I have no idea what came over me to do that. A lot of my friends had the same gripe that you have to guess a bit as to how to play it. Thanks for the feedback, means a lot!

triplevisiongames 2012-04-28 13:29

Nice and innovative and good fun. Also the music was really nice and relaxing

caranha 2012-04-28 14:01

Very very interesting! It is a bit hard to get things set up, but I like what you did here. Maybe you should add small numbers hovering over each planet as a reminder of the life/etc levels?

Also, a tool tip for each of the god's powers would be awesome!

lawrence-esswood 2012-04-28 17:16

There is a tooltip - use the '?' on the menu.

zkenshin 2012-04-28 17:48

One of my favourites so far :)

chaoseed 2012-04-28 19:27

I didn't know what to do for five minutes, until I accidentally waved my mouse pointer down to the bottom and the menu appeared. Why is it ever hidden at all?

hattered 2012-04-28 23:42

That was fun! I didn't know what to do at first, then saw Chaoseed's comment about the hidden menu at the bottom. I was playing the web version (filefactory wouldn't let me download it) and had to scroll down to see the bottom, which didn't help. Once I got past that, the controls were pretty intuitive. I like how asteroids increase the size of what they hit; it helps keep things from stagnating.

Count me in as one who'd like to see you expand on this.

Spontaneous life!
(Seconds later, the planet falls into the sun)
Extinction!

zillix 2012-04-29 01:49

Really neat world toy!

jwolf 2012-04-29 04:52

Really cool! This is a very fun toy to play around with. The only thing lacking is maybe the ability to zoom in and out, although that might just be the web version.

summaky 2012-04-29 12:19

Cool game, but I had a hard start because I didn't notice that I had "tools" at the bottom of the screen. I guess some mini-tutorial would be a good addition.

pighead10 2012-05-02 16:36

Great game! It was very tricky but fun enough to want to keep playing every time you fire 50 planets into extinction. I think getting started should be easier, I couldn't get the planet to get into orbit for ages.

mrbarnslig 2012-05-03 05:26

This is really interesting. The physics are fun to play with on their own. It's sad that I feel like you might lose a lot of people from not having the menu obvious - I didn't find it until I read the comments here. Making a little planet and having stuff flying around is inherently fun. There's definitely something here, agree with the others, worth exploring after the competition.

pitoum 2012-05-04 23:02

Very nice entry ! I like it a lot ! Even if I didn't understand all the possibilities :)
Congrats !

cyboot 2012-05-13 19:57

awesome Simulation!
I love the way you introduce the Controls after clicking the Help button, very good Idea.

Very nicely done!
