Haha! The potato boss looked awesome and I loved the little dude's animations. Like others have said, the attacks too took long to play out, so I usually ended up dying while it charged up.
Excellent gameplay and good use of the theme. Found the shooting sfx a bit repetitive. Maybe gun pickups, instead of the option to switch, so the sound changes up occasionally.
Beautiful work! Music fit perfectly with the game, and the little touches like the changing moon and stargazer's waving hand really brought it to life. Really polished product.

Beautiful artwork...had some issues with the gameplay...falling through platforms and not getting carried by the horizontal platforms.
Really liked this one! Good level design, character and gameplay...apart from a few control issues. Kept getting stuck to things when I tried to jump.

Great art and concept! Kept falling through the floor though, and wasn't sure what was going on when I hit the wolf with the sword and the screen flashed blue.
Nice game! The graphics were great and always jumping mechanic really added to the gameplay. Would have liked the screen to move with the character smoothly, instead of just repositioning when he lands though.

Love the look of the game, and the music is excellent! Double jump wouldn't work for me though, and found the best way to fight was just to stick the sword out and let the baddies jump into it. Maybe work speed into the damage, so you have to be moving the sword to kill them? Brilliant style though. Great game!

Cool idea, but I couldn't tell when a dot was one the same level as me. Snaked around a bunch expecting to eat stuff with no luck.
Loved it! Great art style, fun gameplay, and each level had a little something that stood out. It was almost as fun failing as it was passing each level.

Loved the fox character! Kept getting stuck on stuff throughout the level though.

ilo: Ah! I still had my testing values in for the difficulty scaling, so it went super slow. Fixed now.
axcho: that would have definitely made it more user friendly, but I wanted to add in the trial and error aspect, so you get to die a bit before figuring it out :)

muton: I'm right with you there. Changing guard positions is definitely something I want to add. Also the ability to strike first. Already had it in the game, but wasn't able to tweak it in time. Basically, you could spam attacks and win every fight. Will have to check out that bug too :(
mightycomp: Ah, looks like a font issue. The controls are a, s, d, but I can see how a caps A can look like a caps R.
I think the timing thing is throwing everyone off. It's not so much about timing the block as it is about recognizing what direction and hitting the block asap.
I think axcho had it right at the start...this thing needs a quick tutorial level to start er off :)

Dohan: I agree! You NEED to be able to switch the block, and it just makes more sense for the gameplay.
Super simple, but really well executed. Cool idea and made me want to play right to the end :)
Great idea and innovative mechanics! Had some issues running off the right side of the screen and the game restarting at the house, and would have liked to see the ground while riding the bird, to make the jump a bit more intuitive.

Loved the look of the game, but the gameplay was too slow for me. Crank the character's animation speed up 3 or 4 times and it will play a lot better.
Very cool game, and the shoot through mechanic was a nice touch.
Took me a second to figure it out, but the chimes were a nice clue. Was trying to do it like a Rubic's cube at first ;)

It was funning running from the baddies and grabbing a potato to shoot back. Found it more time efficient to just ram into them and then eat potatoes after though...although that didn't help my score :)
Amazing art style! Had a heckuva time judging whether I'd hit the cube or not. Reading the comments, it may be the deflection thing you were talking about though.
Interesting idea. When I got to the island, the boat kept going right over it though ;)
The monkey thing got a little repetitive, but a good potato themed take on the old ball and cup game.
Good controls and level design. Only one that was a little unclear was the one with the checkerboard pattern in the bg. Took a second to figure out what was a wall or a floor.

Great character design, and I am a fan of any game that lets me throw rocks at cats ;)
Thought the controls were good, and the fighting worked well. Ended up leading the Princess into a pack of thugs, and they finished er off :)
