Pretty good. Smooth gameplay and nice aesthetics, nice job!

snickersnacks 2014-04-29 02:19

I like the look & feel! Cute simple style. :) Key press commands were a little unresponsive, don't know if it was the web player or what.

theengineers 2014-04-29 13:20

Pretty smooth, good gameplay and really nice graphics.

olkeencole 2014-04-29 13:27

Very nice gameplay. I like switching between the different functions of the sub. Small details like the seaweed really add to atmosphere. Well done!

manabreak 2014-04-29 13:27

Fun concept! It took me a while to understand the mechanics, but luckily it was pretty straightforward. The graphics are nice, reminds me of the very first games that incorporated 3D models. :)

tesrym 2014-04-29 13:27

This is very interesting.

vilya 2014-04-29 13:27

I like the idea in theory, but in practice I found it really irritating having to run back and forth between the different terminals to control the different functions. Also, having to switch between mouse and keyboard all the time.

The graphics & sounds are good and you've got quite a lot of game in there, but I couldn't really get into it because of the controls. Sorry!

franklins-ghost 2014-04-29 13:30

Cute designs and liked the way the periscope turns whichever way you're moving, nice little touch. Also the explosions effect is great.

gamertaters 2014-04-29 13:33

Love the look of the game. Good job!

tuska 2014-04-29 13:33

Good visuals and sounds. Gameplay vice It's starts to get irritating to move from station to station, but overall good and solid game with good polish.

xandy 2014-04-29 13:33

this game is great! the art style and music go hand in hand with the theme and the game play is fun too!

thegamefather 2014-04-29 13:34

The game is very interesting! Gameplay is innovative, instruction is great, also you have simple but nice graphics.

though if u can support 2-4 players that would be awesome!

Btw, the transition between micro and macro environment reminds me of a game called Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime.

starfeesh 2014-04-29 13:34

This is one of my favorite submissions so far, it's very polished. The art is really nice and simple. I really enjoyed the gameplay, especially once you started taking some damage. Good job!

seraphicmedia 2014-04-29 13:36

haha that was fun. I got hulled and didn't get treasure but made it back to the ship. It still said I won even though I didn't collect treasure lol Nice 3d modeling. Some of it could have been smoothed out though.

graebor 2014-04-29 13:37

Pretty cool game, definitely feels quite polished for a 72 hour project. I like the look of the environment and the small details like the periscope facing your direction of movement, and the leaks/drips appearing inside and being visible through the windows. Good job!

blockbot 2014-04-29 13:38

Looks really nice, and I like the over all tone. I don't think the switch back and forth mechanic is totally working. Got frustrating when a sub started shooting me and I had to jump back in and switch to my torpedos. Overall though, nice job!

mintarcade 2014-04-29 13:41

Very nice idea. Smooth and cool.

dminsky 2014-04-29 13:42

Lovely game. Great concept to expand.

zyxer 2014-04-30 20:30

Wow, great game! Love the gameplay and graphics.

pete_h 2014-04-30 23:05

Really enjoyed this! Great game with lots of interesting elements!

vandash 2014-05-01 15:25

Interesting idea! It'l be quite nice if there was a way to move between stations without breaking rhythm

lucidlarva 2014-05-02 05:38

Really loved this, really dang fun.

icereci 2014-05-03 11:59

I really liked the gameplay. good job.

tyruspeace 2014-05-05 04:51

Very well done! Manning the sub on your own is a bit frustrating, but a very nice way of conveying the isolation of it all. It did end up being a bit odd to get the 10 million point cat and then feel like I didn't have much else to do but make the long trip home. It was cool to find it, though!

snoringfrog 2014-05-05 05:35

Awesome game! I barely made it back alive with the big treasure, but I made it nonetheless. :)

kevinalbs 2014-05-06 04:37

Great job! I don't think I can say anything critical of this. And that guy can really hold his breath.

rowdyghosts 2014-05-06 04:55

Haha, this was pretty cool! I like the subtle parallax effect from using the 3d in a fairly 2d way.

pikkpoiss 2014-05-06 04:57

Wow, this was a fantastic entry! I love the way the mood and tension ratchet up the further you go. The art style was perfect and managed to seem bright and cartoony up top and scary and dark lower down. I did wish for a more streamlined switching mechanism, but running around the ship did add to the tension. Great that you were able to put in a polished menu/instruction system too.

nickzangus 2014-05-07 22:59

Awesome! I love it!

mortus 2014-05-10 06:34

Great entry! Maybe too slow and too... inevitable, but really cool. I love the mood of the game, nice graphics too, especially bubbles.

jupiter_hadley 2014-05-11 17:36

Super well done game!! I included it in part 23 of my Ludum Dare compilation video series, if you'd like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/yJ4mg8nxxfM

misterwalter 2014-05-12 07:09

Very nice! I really like the look and feel, and the maze of loot was fun to navigate.
The biggest problem I saw was that the money was kinda worthless, and the win condition was way too easy. I was expecting the ship to be an upgrade/repair station, and I feel like that would be much better.
Of course that's not terribly viable during the jam, but if you wish to continue, that's where I would take it.

hirngespinst 2014-05-12 15:00

This is my favorite LD so far. Very polished and really smooth and nice. Great job!

_waterman7_ 2014-05-13 18:41

I have to admit, I was expecting another one of those uninnovative submersible shooters. But this really was a pleasant surprise. Managing the different functions was really enjoyable and I really liked the somewhat slower pace of it (I didn't play the Post-Compo version)
Great job!

garethjenkins 2014-05-18 10:56

Great stuff.
