Nice game. Hard as nails. I tried multiple times and failed. Got to the second screen and was killed through the hole every time. Checkpoints would be a nice convenience. Had a lot of fun with this one!
PS: You should still be able to change to compo on the entry page!

I gotta say, simple yet effective. You worked the level design in such a way that I either snipe through or do a quick hit and run, which makes me feel like a bad ass assassin. Nice job!
Very nice game! I like the colors and the level design. It was quite tricky to get all of the enemies. +1 for checkpoints!
This is right up my alley; Janky in all the right ways.
Unfortunately, due to spotty collision detection and lack of checkpoints, the difficulty is sky high. There's no way I'm willing to go through all the boring levels again (level 3, for one, is a grind).
So here is my suggestion: either allow restarting from the current level; or make every level beatable in ten some seconds if you are good enough. This way the annoyance of going back to the first level works as an incentive to git gud, rather than a discouragement.

Good start! There is some room for improvement (like - the bullets sometimes go through people, that's really annoying Ox) ). It's simple and pretty basic, but still, good job x)
