Awesome game! I liked the overall aesthetic and gameplay. The dungeons were really cool; the traps and puzzles were very interesting. I really enjoyed the music as well.
Great job!

Awesome game! I liked the overall aesthetic and gameplay. The dungeons were really cool; the traps and puzzles were very interesting. I really enjoyed the music as well.
Great job!
Fantastic game, I really like how the cards burn up. I had alot of fun , although the cpu wrecked me I quite enjoyed discovering the new cards.
I used to love the choose your own adventure goosebump books so this was like a breath of fresh air. I also quite enjoyed the humor and found myself laughing quite a bit. Good job!
wow the amount of polish this game has is incredible. In just 72 hours as well!
This was loads of fun with friends and would make a great party game.
Aesthetics, music, gameplay, this game has it all. Not much i can say except good job!
As an artist math is not were i excelled in school. So the gameplay for me was quite brutal. Although the concept is nice and i think my programmer had fun.
What irked me about the game was the color choices and what looks to be mouse drawn letters and numbers? it was very jarring to the eye.
well done for the time that you had!
First off i want to say that the game was great, the puzzles were hard and the story was engaging. It was a nice touch to have voice acting.
When I say the puzzles were hard it's an understatement i literally had no idea what to do on some levels and I only made it through the cave with trial and error. If not for the comments section i do not think i would have been able to complete the game.
Otherwise i had fun stretching my brain capabilities, great work!
The pixel art was great and it gave the game a great atmosphere, everything from the title screen to the characters and map was engaging for the eyes.
I wish there was a bit of sound to the game, even a few sound effects would have been a great addition
In terms of gameplay the game was relentless, the speed at which you die and the number of enemies made the game very hard to beat.
Otherwise good job!
For the time you had this was a great game, the controls were simple and the objective was easy to grasp. However I found myself disregarding the gun and just running things over. The pace of the game itself was a little fast making some rocks almost unavoidable.
Very cool idea, like previously stated this gave me a cool dishonored or assassins creed vibe.
The intro with the typing was very well done and i liked the addition of the quote which was a nice touch.
Aesthetically it was a good choice to be at night assassinating really set the mood.
Having no sound was a bit of let down since the intro was so cool, but thats pretty minor.
The insta death upon sight was quite brutal but fun.
Great game, good job!
Intersting concept! A real time strategy game using only text sounds quite strange on the surface, but in practice was quite fun.
The timer felt really good. I felt engaged and was constantly pinging my resources to see when I could get the next upgrade.
The commands were generally intuitive, however using some aliases would have been neat ("wood" could be a substitute for "woodcutter").
I wish the enemy village had been a greater threat. After all that tense build up and I was able to march in with 60+ troops and wipe them out in 2 rounds.
Overall well done with an unusual genre!
Nice game, its aesthetically pleasing and the music is nice and relaxing.
However the puzzles were frustrating, mainly due to the fact that your jump height is not enough to jump one box height. So I had to do some pretty janky stuff to get over it.
The gravity gun was cool but it was rather clunky and hard to use. Also the ability to run was nice, but there was never a reason not to run so my finger on the shift key became rather tired.
Otherwise it was a fun game, good job!
@brookzerker Thanks for the comment and feedback, our team agrees that the game is a bit hard but i promise the boss at the end is worth it.
@keln Thank you for your comment and feedback, we wish we had to time for more levels and upgrades but we were sleep deprived as is haha.
@Anudin Thank you for the comment and feedback, our programmers thought the addition of controller support would be a nice touch were glad that it was!
@jscottmiller Thank you for the comment and feedback, we used a custom C++ engine (https://bitbucket.org/cedega/clone) which figured out the emscripten part. From our tests there were a few computers with messed up audio on the web, so it's not a perfect solution, but I'm glad it worked for you :)
@kyyninen Thank you for the comment and feedback, this is the first time we tried the 2.5D art style we had a bit of trouble matching it and it shows. However i'm glad to hear it didn't detract too much from your experience.
Very cool concept, like the incredible machine feel you had going.
Aesthetically it was quite pleasing, the relaxing music and the easy on the eyes art was a great match as well as a great Chinese theme.
Music was great, the sound effects of the string for actions was a good touch.
As for the game play the game was quite unforgiving. The platforms didn't always behave as expected and the need to get the pearl directly into the arms was rather frustrating.
Good overall, great job!
The game was great, it was very easy to pick up and understand the game. I didn't even need to look at the controls and i understood the objectives and what to do.
I had great fun sending the spies around and it felt good juggling movement. The stars were a great addition and having different spies was cool as well.
The only thing i could add was that if you had more to do the game could be even more engaging. Perhaps gaining more spies or having extra objectives.
Great job!
There was a real sense of exploration in this game i really loved the eerie feeling of walking through almost pitch black to find these mysterious green lights. I don't know if it was intentional or not but the cars created a traffic jam and all their engines together made quite the scary noise.
Was a fun game! the camera zoom and the art was very well done and i like the idea of making bricks for a god haha.
As stated before there are a few balance issues, but overall it is a great game. good job!
The game aesthetically was very pleasing, everything was a nice pastel color and the music was relaxing, a perfect fit for a city building game.
the game play was a bit to be desired, i liked the idea but it was rather confusing as to what was happening and how to progress.
I had no idea what the controls were but after looking at the comments that was remedied quite quickly.
A bit of polishing and i think this could go places, Good job.
The game was fun and the animations were cool to watch, having multiplayer was cool and I had a blast wailing on my friends. I couldn't seem to get blocking to work or like previous comments said perhaps i wasn't skilled enough to get to to happen.
Also the sound effects seemed to play immediately after the button was pressed and didn't sync up with the animation.
Otherwise good game!
Your game was quite fun and gave me a similar feeling to faster than light.
Aesthetically the game is quite simple and kept to the point which i like. The menu however was a much to take in at the beginning, after a bit of trial and error I quickly understood it though.
finding new upgrades on planets was great fun and gave me a sense of exploration which i loved. The RNG was at times brutal but then again so was FTL. Perhaps showing where the pirate boss was so i could avoid him would balance the game.
Great concept and good job!
I loved this game! The art is great and the dinosaurs were very cute. The color choices are good and clear, however the floor background was a little distracting.
It was a bit confusing at first but i followed the instructions and it played out fine after that.
As previously stated there are a few balance issues and the lack of any sound was a bit disappointing.
Overall though very cool concept and good work!
Immediately as i launched the game, i was drawn in be the atmosphere created by the music and sound effects. The dark feel of the cave and the sole light provided by the fire made for a engaging feel to the game.
The game not having a tutorial or a "buttons" screen made the game quite hard to play at first. Even if you didn't have the time to add those elements, making the jump button a more intuitive button like the "space" or "w" button would have been a better choice than "j".
The gameplay itself was simple and easy to understand. Exploring and lighting torches was cool. What made the game frustrating was since you had a vertical element to the game and everything was so dark i didn't know what gaps would lead to new areas or kill me. As well as combined with a slightly clunky jump it made platforming quite artificially difficult.
Otherwise the concept was very cool, good job!
Cool and simple game, it was quite fun and easy to understand.
Aesthetically game was okay, the pixel art was cool The player attacks and the enemies were cool as well. the only thing i could say is the color choices were a bit jarring to the eye.
The sounds effects were a nice touch.
Gameplay itself as stated before reloading was a bit strange as there was no clear indication if i was reloading or not or if i even needed to hit the reload button. shooting in general was outclassed by the heavily spammable melee attack.
I would have like the waves to come in faster or have more enemies, there was quite a bit of downtime where i wasn't doing anything.
Cool concept and good job!
I was a little skeptical at first because of the art but man did this game grow on me.
I found myself replaying levels just to hear the awesome sound track. The controls were smooth however some of your puzzle blocks were almost impossible to get through, having bridges and fire extinguishers helped but it was mainly jumping over a gap into immediate stone dodging which was quite hard.
I want to stress how awesome your music was, it was definitely what kept me playing when i was frustrated at some parts. In the end though i had a blast juggling all the options i had and tackling the boss. Good job!
This game was amazing, especially the cut scene art. the controls were great and the difficulty of the game felt like a good ramp. I had quite the chuckle at the pixelized art pieces and the humor of the "artifacts". The backwards controls on a few levels were quite sadistic which i loved. The controls paired with the music and humor made for an all alround great game.
My one complaint was for the first zone the red background was quite jarring and hurt my eyes a bit. but once it became teal it was much more enjoyable.
The humor and the aesthetic of the game were enjoyable, the funny stories matched with the fun music made for a good combination.
I wanted to play the game through its entirety, however I would get stuck on certain blocks while moving and my character would slide once in a while forcing a restart. That combined with the invisible mouse made for a rather tedious restart.
You have a great sense of humor and the art on the character was cool as well, if it weren't for the bugs i would have had a much more enjoyable time.
The game was playable and the music was relaxing. However the controls were a bit un-intuitive and gave me a hard time trying to learn it.
In terms of game play I played it once and didn't feel the need to replay the game for anything i missed. Upgrades or perhaps enemy variety would be a good addition.
The game has potential, good work!
short and sweet, it was strange at first and due to learning mechanics I got my face beat it a little bit. but you better believe that once I figured it out I came in swinging. I became quite invested in my green robot and really enjoyed switching up my stances to defend and attack. My robot arm did occasionally get stuck on himself and i couldn't quite get it unstuck. otherwise great game
The mechanics were quite confusing and I had to go through a bit of trial and error followed by a few restarts to get the hang of it. It would be much easier to understand if the buttons in game came with labels and if there was an objective statement to make the purpose of the game clear.
The music in the game was pretty cool and i quite enjoyed the feeling of making my own ancient orchestra.
The aesthetic of the game fit the theme quite well and i quite liked the tribe members. However the game was quite blurry when blown up to full screen i had to take it down to windowed as small as it would go.
Great game, i had fun.
Sadly I don't own a mac to test this game, and i was so hype from the screen shots too. Just from the screen shots I can see a lot of visual direction and atmosphere, shame i cant experience it.
