Wow. This was awesome. Not a ton going on but the quality was superb. This could be part of a larger game or you could make boss fights. That would be cool.

I'm having trouble opening this.
I think its Window 10 or a setting. I've been having problems with a lot lately.
I like the game. I actually is like my style. The only thing I don't understand is what are you shooting at the bad guys. Either its invisible or its not playing right on my computer..

Hi this looks great but when I enter the game I cant move with or without a controller. Maybe its Windows 10. Its been a problem with Unity games or maybe there's a fix like a 64 bit version or something.
It wont play. Says its missing data?
I like the graphics. The game play was a little weird but I think with a little polish this could be a good one.

I liked this. Unlike some of the crazy platformer games that some people have made. That have nothing to do with Ancient technology. I actually just play a game were all you do is jump and the you have to type words??? What the heck does that have to do with Ancient Technology.. Anyway good job.
Wow. I think the only way to improve on this would to find a music score that fits. However I don't know how music could fit that would be a challenge in itself. Great Job!

My comments are honest and to the point I played every game I commented on maybe you should find another place to post your hate mail.
I liked what you did here. I have been accused of not leaving enough feedback so here is scoop. You need sprite animation. Make the game longer (obviously) Maybe make it so you can aim the gun. Other than that I like the whole concept and you managed to incorporate Ancient Technology as well.
It was different like a puzzle and a pac man game put together. Move by move. I didn't hate it. keep up the good work!

I really liked this. Is there a boss? I played for a while and it seemed like there was gonna be a boss fight but it never happened.

I like the black and white artwork. For a minute my character just stood there and wouldn't move. I think this is one of the more solid games I've played though and its actually about Ancient Technology

I liked the Idea. But your physics are off and your projectiles fall flat. If you didn't have time to fix that you could have just made cannon balls instead of arrows that don't fall right. I couldn't kill the bigger enemy's what was with that. Honestly if you fix this it could do well on Game Jolt or as a mobile app even.

I like the concept. The controls were rough. But hey we only had a weekend to make a great game and you did it.
Sorlok you nailed it. I should take this game make it a two stick or keyboard with mouse. The Bobby can shoot in any direction while running and add a charged shot that wipes out the enemy's health bar. Thank for the positive input bro I'll be playing your game soon.
Thanks to all the feed back I was able to polish up my game this week. A link to the post jam version is below Added working gamepad controls(I solved the “Game Maker Effect”) LOL. A charged shot. AI for the spiders fixed. So is there animation. Score drifting away fixed. Last but not least the title screen that hurt everyone’s eyes is fix LOL. You can even press start on your controller to progress past it. I also added a scope like effect and more music/sound effects. Thanks you everyone who helped me make Bobby Bow a better game. I think I get what your were going for here. I the controls were crunchy but I think that's what you wanted. Lol like Atari ancient tech. lol
Good first entry much like my game we have a ways to go. The graphics are good but they kinda didn't match. You hade a clean main character and the ground was all pixel art. I love pixel art but the whole game should be pixel art. Unless you were going for some abstract thing. In any case great start.
The game plays well. The graphics are good for a game made in a few days. It took awhile to load. and there were some spots were it got glitchy but great start.
