Pyramid Dissemble by luquio 2016-08-29T17:24:00

Never did get it open, even when I was hitting the correct sequence. I like the aesthetic and I can squint and see the beginnings of a game here, which is a good thing.
There didn't seem to be any indication of progress for the player. Like a visual or audible distinction between getting gems in the right order and not.
I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think it might be better to have the rotation more in sync with the player position. I can't really tell what I'm hitting or not hitting when I go around back.

Starving Village by vexparadox 2016-08-31T22:00:00

Cute graphic style. The game itself if kind of iffy though.
Why have the population go negative rather than just end the game at zero?
Also, even for a starvation themed game it is very tight with the food. At least at first you should kind of throw me a bone so I keep playing.
And I'm seeing a lot of "underground" when that seems to have nothing to do with the game.
Still good job for the time crunch.

Petroglyph by Jonpul 2016-08-29T18:07:00

Just a quick note I wanted to add after watching some people play this.
You need to get he bottom end of your beam on the person or animal you are trying to beam up. I probably could have made that hit zone a little bigger.

Caveman In Time by Mine10blox 2016-08-29T23:15:00

Congrats on participating.
That said, definitely some design and tech issues here.
I encourage you to keep working and keep jamming.

Mammoths, Mammoths, Mammoths! by xiaobaobao719 2016-08-29T23:12:00

I like it. As you say, still work to do, but you can really see this coming together to be something awesome. I liked the graphics. Nice job.

Reinventing the Wheel by gonutz 2016-08-29T17:04:00

I like it. Fun little puzzle game. Some weirdness with the hit areas, but nothing that made it un-playable. I probably would have preferred space bar or another key to jump as the up arrow with a l/r arrow is a little cramped.

Ancient Contact by Volcanic Giraffe 2016-09-01T00:10:00

Nice job. I really enjoyed this.

Runty Raptor's Rock Roller by ryte2byte 2016-08-29T23:10:00

Agree on the controls issue that has been noted, but this is a really good game with a high "charm" factor.

First Wheel by TheGRS 2016-08-30T22:10:00

Controls were pretty wonky. I like the idea though. Nice work for a jam.

ASHZAR by mysterysal 2016-08-30T21:58:00

Something must not be right with the scrolling - I hope.
Not really my cup of tea (even without the scrolling issues), but congrats on getting it done and thanks for sharing it.

Ancient Alien Attack ! by PlasterCastor 2016-08-30T22:02:00

I like it! Good job on this. Good difficulty ramp. Nice art style. Playable and fun.
I want to play it again right now as I type this so kudos on that.

RUNE by Hiinds 2016-08-29T17:28:00

The implementation is well executed, but I'm not quite getting what the concept is here. Where's the difficulty or ramp if I'm just replicating the symbols?

Escape from planet Earth! by Peni6 2016-08-30T21:54:00

Has promise. Still let my dead corpse jump around for awhile after i was dead. Nice art style.

URAHGGG by Wumbo 2016-08-29T18:16:00

Cute and emotional graphics. The gameplay wasn't super engaging though. Also, was there supposed to be sound? I wasn't getting any.
Second game I've seen in the Compo with cavemen and UFOs. :-)

The Truth About The Pyramids by little-burrito 2016-08-29T19:28:00

Solid effort here. Difficult to play on the laptop as Garfeild said, but good job.

Babel by johnbjuice 2016-08-29T19:41:00

Very cool. Cute graphics. Charmingly over-responsive controls.:-)Well done.

Kungo by kingpirux 2016-08-30T19:36:00

Seems well executed, but honestly no idea what the heck is going on or how I progress. I smashed everything I could smash.
Not a super fan of the controls to be honest.
Nice graphics and effects though.

HoloBots by conradte3 2016-08-31T21:41:00

Hey not too bad!
Nice aesthetic to it. Really kind of cries out for a score of some kind rather than just survival. You should keep going on this.

Would you Microwave it? by Joey2bost 2016-08-29T16:55:00

Definitely second the single EXE being preferable to the installer (I actually don't recall if that is an option in the free edition of GM:S.). The install takes forever.
The first two screens of intro text were super blurry for me.
A little more randomization and variety would be cool.

Bobby Bow by AWOL 2016-08-29T19:22:00

Pretty nice implementation with some rough edges - no diagonal shooting but spiders can attack diagonally, ended up in an end state where I couldn't restart.
But nice work.

Hadrian's Defence by HylianEvil 2016-08-29T16:45:00

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. Says I'm missing XAPOFX1_5.dll. Screenshots look intriguing though.
