LD30 — Connected Worlds

Warp Paint by zatyka 2014-08-29T22:50:00

Wow, best game so far. Love puzzle games, and this one is really mind boggling (though I managed to get to the last level). Excellent pixel art, and great use of the theme. Also, if you made this music, great job, but otherwise, I would check out http://www.abundant-music.com/ for a technically legal way of getting music, since you aren't suppose to use other peoples.

I think this one should win by far, btw.

Alice by synchingfeeling 2014-08-29T21:38:00

Cool idea, really fast paced. After about ten seconds I felt myself almost saying each word out loud, instead of focusing on what the whole sentence meant, so it really draws you in.I do find the music a bit sudden and jarring though...

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Zombies 'N Spies by Wezley 2014-12-08T22:20:00

Man, I can't believe I'm not Chuck Norris! Shoot! Great game though, my only critisism is that I find the whole firing a gun a bit wonky and slow, I thought I was suppose to click like a semi-auto one...

Subpixel by Paul Sinnett 2014-12-09T02:28:00

Cool idea, I like how each of the different colors played different sounds. Also, complements on actually doing something useful with scratch. I think I basically reached the limit of what it can do by trying to make AI with it, and basically got about 3 FPS after that. I've heard that they have done some improvements lately, though, so maybe those make it fast enough to be usable.

SnOwDuDeS by Dir3kt 2014-12-11T21:39:00

Great overall game, really cool low-friction physics, but I couldn't manage to get all that far (only got to the fifth level). Also, nice sound effects.

Labshooter by Esenti 2014-12-11T21:27:00

Yeah, I wish I could play, but I'm on windows...

Entire Screen of One Game by Tom 7 2015-01-06T17:17:00

TOO MANY FRACTALS!!!!!

seriously, though, cool game!

SnowCard by mrexcessive 2014-12-11T21:21:00

Really fun, love the ending. The only thing I didn't like is that I could never find out which color was first and I got it wrong most of the time. If there was a pattern, I couldn't figure it out.

S.I.N.E by FloatingGhost 2014-12-11T20:54:00

Sorry, I can't play or rate because I got an Invalid or corrupt file error, and don't really have the patience to try to fix it right now... Looks cool though!

Frosty Ninja by belva1234 2014-12-09T02:44:00

Wow, great game! Best one I've played so far. You totally start to feel like a ninja after a while. One question though, are those high-scores real, or just pre-programmed?

Broken Turrets by Biliogadafr 2014-12-11T20:56:00

Aww... my computer can't run it. It looks really cool though... : (

SplitScreen by Moocowsgomoo 2014-12-09T02:58:00

Really great take on the theme, Great game, but I think the 3D effect was a little offsetting and unnecessary, and just kind of made the platforms look weird.

Contact Cowboy by jrap 2014-12-09T03:14:00

Wow, Really fun game! I love this idea of having a real life clue-game, but on the computer, so that no one can cheat. Well done!

Snake Pong Invaders by Jack31081988 2014-12-08T22:12:00

Very innovative, Love how you combined pong, snake, and space invaders all into one game! Very nice!

Doughnut Delight by TheZiggy 2014-12-08T22:07:00

I like this game. Simple, but fun, and all on one screen.

Dry Land by funkysquid 2014-12-10T00:08:00

Kinda fun game, though the music gets a bit repetitive after a while. I like how the fish get bigger over time, but it took me a while to figure out how to attack the fish with space, being the stupid game player that I am (meaning you should always assume your players to be idiots with the controls). Fun idea with the sub though.

Mission Assault by SilentFuture 2014-12-09T04:13:00

Well, to start, the game looked amazing. Also, you feel awesome jumping around with sprint and shooting the laser, et certera, but I really needed a screen telling me what to do or something. I read through the instructions after each round, but even on easy, I couldn't get past the second layer. Don't really know what stealth does, or how to use it, but it sure felt cool to before I died. Graphics are awesome, though!

Fonic Forrest by dkdwrek 2014-12-11T21:09:00

cool idea, but I didn't really like it when things spawned on top of me. Also, why would anyone use the drums when they could use the piano that does the same damage, but has more health?

Temple Swapper by rayman1900 2014-12-09T04:04:00

Pretty cool game, but I found it pretty hard to get more than 3 as a score... Didn't really like the idea, but it was well executed and is a cool end product

Space Cargo by Skoggy 2014-12-11T20:52:00

Really fun little game, and I love the story line (That person... was not you.). The only thing I would change is that I would make a little bit more of a difficulty curve, or have something change, because it got a little repetitive after about the forth wave.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Defence the castle of dreams by Smirnov48 2015-05-09T17:00:00

Really cool game-especially the content of it. I liked the fact that you could choose your weapons and that they each had unique powers (though I felt the shovel was a little too good and the mushrooms just bought you some time), mainly because that isn't something I have seen anywhere else. However, the lack of music hurt the feeling of the game and the art really could have used a bit more time/detail.

Cool game though!

Democracy by renatopp 2015-04-25T17:51:00

Nice entry. I like the concept of the game and understood the story right away (since you explained it in the game), but it took me a while to figure out what was a bug and what was a robot. I was really getting into it towards the end, and I think I managed to beat the game (There wasn't a next level button). The only suggestion I have is to make a you beat the game screen, because that makes the player feel good about themselves, and try to add some levels where there is a bit more strategy than just placing down your extractor and spamming w next to it. That said, I did really like how the tank-robots looked, and loved the story behind it.

Natures Revenge by barkergames 2015-05-02T03:22:00

Cool idea, love the way you interpritted the theme. Maybe consider adding a speed up button so that you don't have to sit there and wait for the sunflowers to grow, and can keep playing different levels (also level 4 is really hard, I couldn't figure it out, but level 5 isn't nearly as bad). Cool idea!

Natures Revenge by barkergames 2015-05-02T03:24:00

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I don't know if there is a max size for the flowers (it must be pretty big if it is there), but if there isn't I would make one for the future, because otherwise, you can just sit and wait until you win.

Expand-O-Ray by Levi D. Smith 2015-04-22T22:53:00

Cool game! First off, loved the robot. Great job modeling him. I also loved the Star-trek-y kinda voice that gives you instructions on how to do stuff. Audio art and game play (though it is kinda easy) work great for what they are suppose to do.

The one problem I had, which is certainly a result of the 2-day time limit, is the glitches that didn't really seem all that hard to fix. Namely, the last level has such a long walk and the wall ends that it feels like you just glitched into an area that you weren't suppose to go to. Also, the wall-hanging Unity problem never got enough attention (I spent hours trying to fix this, you need to put an object in front of the character, and check if he intersects with a wall, and then not let the player move forward if this is the case). Finally, the camera getting stuck in the ceiling got kinda annoying after like the second time it happened. What you could have done is just not make the level come out as far as it did, so the camera would have just been looking at the edge of the block, instead of being inside it.

That feels like quite a big list of complaints, but take it lightly! You made a great game, and with just a few more hours put into it, it would have been nearly perfectly polished and much more professional! Nice Job!

Dueling Time, Sir! by HybridMind 2015-05-09T16:45:00

Great game! I loved the little things each player said and the fact that you could choose your mustache. I would have liked, however, specific sounds for each weapon when it was used (though the background music was great), as well as more of an introduction to the strategy of when to do what, because I didn't quite get what to do for a while.

The Murderers of Originality by IamAcoconut 2015-04-22T22:38:00

Hi,
To start with, I thought the voices were hilarious at first, but they got a little old after a while. But considering that most people only play these games for like 5 minutes, I think it was a good decision to add. Getting stuck on walls, kinda got annoying after a while, and the game had some work to be done in both the art and (surprisingly, considering you were using Unity) the physics (You need to harness the powers of Newton and make people fall faster!). If you could make it a bit more responsive and easier to predict where you will go once you jump, I think that will take care of the difficulty. Good job, and hope to see you next LD!

There Is Nothing In This Endless Expanse. by stvr 2015-04-25T17:57:00

LOL, wonder until you're tired and then move on. That's a 5-star rating for humor, without a doubt! Seriously, though, I really liked the paralleling with the stars and I really liked the shooting star that you would see once in a while. I think this would be a pretty cool screensaver. If you make a goal with it, though, that would make it a lot more fun!

Zolf by Chris Mondok 2015-05-02T03:39:00

Cool game. I loved the physics of it and think it would have made a great golf game on its own even without zombies! Personalty, though, I struggled with hitting the ball on accident when trying to get close enough to swing at it, and ended up just kicking it around like a soccer ball more effectively, though maybe this is just me being bad at the game.

Ice Cream Fire Fighter by Suyo 2015-05-09T16:37:00

Cool game, I really liked the sound effects in it. I don't know if this is intentional or a bug, but when there was a fire on the left building (like 5 floors up or something), I made a chocolate row that drew a line through him, but didn't put out the fire, which caught me by surprise. Cool game, nonetheless!

Dungeon Balls by Teesquared 2015-04-23T04:33:00

Really cool idea, but I find it WAY to hard. It might be that I am just terrible at timing and predicting trajectory, but I feel like it starts off at a difficulty that should be at least 5 levels in. Cool music and art, though, if a little simplistic (but its LD, so everything is simplistic!)

Backfire by Marjie62 2015-04-23T00:26:00

Wow. This is by far the best game I have played so far. I absolutely love the art, excellent job! The music is great; it reminds me of like a Mario kart-Pokemon kind of style, which I love. This is extremely polished, and, while slightly more difficult than average, rewarding enough to be worth it. I'm sure you will do excellent in the rankings, and would be honored if you could try my game out and give some suggestions. If you're interested in having more of a conversation, and less of me just talking to a text box, I would love it if you would email me at: mywumbogames@gmail.com, or at least check out my game and let me know how I can improve: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=37149. Thanks so much!

Bell of Souls by akirassasin 2015-05-02T03:49:00

I don't think I quite understood what to do. I found a lot of green spirits (and blue water I think) with my flashlight that was about as wide as a laser, but I couldn't find any other way to get rid of them without beating the drum thing, which costs my own guys life? I do think it would have had a much better mood with spooky music and grey-er graphics, but I'm not very good at that theme myself. Cool idea, though.

I Hate Golf by Geared Games 2015-04-23T04:46:00

Wow! Great game. Though the art could have been a little better, the music well made up for it. The sound of losing was so satisfying and the background music was so calming that I didn't really even care when I lost, unlike most games of this nature. I LOVE the feeling of being able to ruin other people's days (does that make me a bad person?), so this was really fun (it was a lot like the un-convention game, you should play that one too, the music isn't as good though). Nice game!

Turbo Super Smash Battle Chicken Royale Between Worlds Ultimate HD Remix and Knuckles by Br_uno 2015-04-23T00:28:00

The web page link didn't work for me because the connection timed out.

Un-Convention by zulubo 2015-04-23T00:45:00

I get it, the Un-conventional weapon. Yep, I'm smart like that. Seriously, though, fun game. I love the games where I get to shoot an all-powerful (but really slow) laser down from the sky and drop atom bombs on people. I played like 5 times because it was so addicting and my best score was 870. Fun game!

The Rock the Paper and the Scissors by BIZM 2015-04-30T10:48:00

Great game, love the way you incorporated the western theme! Also, I loved the graphics and the really cool background music. Great job!

Ghost in the Machine by Alice 2015-04-22T22:26:00

Lol, I didn't realize that I was suppose to click the thing that said, "Time passes for a few moments pass and you watch a blank screen," so I just sat their looking at my screen for like 3 minutes. Seriously, though, that is the best text-based game I have ever played. Great idea, what I played was a good length of time (about 25 minutes, I think) for a LD game, but I did burn to death because I'm a bad, unworthy person... (IF ANYONE IS READING THIS, DON'T STEP ON THE PLATFORM!!!) Very innovative game!

Hello Darkness: My Old Friend by HapaxStudios 2015-04-22T23:42:00

Hey, good idea for the light-creating enemies, and (if I am understanding the puzzles right,) the levers that shut off the lights but open the door. Some things to fix/criticisms, if you are still looking for them:

-Unless there is something wrong with my speakers, I don't think your game has any sound. This begs the question, why do you want us to rate you on sound?
-I don't know how you did animation, but if you are using Unity, I would highly recommend checking out the animator feature: http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/projects/stealth/player-animator-controller, or you can see an example of how I did it:http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=37149
I noticed quite a few instances in which I was jumping but it showed me running, or running and I looked like I was just standing there, et cetera, so you might want to at least take a quick peek, even though it can be confusing at first.
-I ended up getting stuck on a light-bug with 6 legs (and had to restart, twice) when I was trying to get to a lever in the corner that he was guarding. Maybe make it so that you move away from him when he touches you or something, so you don't get stuck on top of him.

Yeah, that's all I could find. Cool idea for a game, and keep up the good work even after everything is over so that you have an awesome, polished game to show off! Good luck!

Pizza Panic by peecestudios 2015-04-22T22:10:00

I wasn't able to play the game since I couldn't find it on your company website. Are you sure it is there?

Bullet Time by BulletsArePeopleToo 2015-04-22T22:08:00

Really funny game! Love the concept, and, more than anything, the hilarious little sayings the guy has. "People don't kill people, bullets kill people" was my favorite.

Hey, I would love it if you could give me some pointers on how you did that banana on the guys head. I was trying to get the same thing in my game: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=37149 with hinge joints, but it glitched up when I turned around (flipped the xScale). All That Glitters by cgmorton 2015-08-25T21:48:00

Really cool game, but I think there is a bug with respawing once you get to a certain checkpoint. The only think I would say is that it is REALLY hard to figure out the box rooms (leading indivuals out didn't work)

Buddies for Baldwin by weirdway 2015-09-13T19:14:00

Loved the quotes, music was great and catchy, good art, though putting something in the background other than sky would have done a lot. Funny game and cool concept, though I found it really hard to actually befriend anyone. I don't know if I am just not coordinated enough, or if it is off, but I though I was hitting space when the bar was right on the green part, and I would still say something awkward or mean to them. Don't know... Loved the rest of it, though

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Arrow Drift by JPatrick 2016-01-02T01:59:00

Okay, so I beat the game, and got 3 stars on just about everything. Fun game, implemented the two-button theme well, but I did find it a bit distracting to look at all the arrows. Maybe just do like an L if you can go up or right, instead of an up arrow and right arrow to make less clutter when there are so many spaces.

Journey of a Ball by guoboism 2016-01-02T01:23:00

I absolutely loved the game. The story was excellent; I think it was delivered entirely without words, if I remember correctly, which is always difficult. I really liked how all of the levels were different, and I thought they were all really cool, though I do think you should be able to lose the last one if you crash the drone-thing. The only suggestion I have on difficulty is that the first level with the traditional pinball-style thing is a little too difficult for an intro; the first level should be something a monkey can pull off, and yours took me like 20 minutes because I kept shooting it too high. Oh, also the level where you are the elevator took a while to figure out how to do it, but that is expected as it is like halfway through the game, so you are probably fine there.

Music was pretty good, matched the art style and helped the mood. Excellent use of the one-color foreground. Great game!

Harvest Dues by rojo 2016-01-02T00:56:00

Excellent game-I absolutely loved it. First off, I won on the last day, which just goes to show how well it appeared to be balanced. I loved the store music and the farming music, while a little boring, still fit the game very well. Art was excellent, though I never figured out what the two things on the top row in the second to the farthest left spot do, and it took me a while to figure out what everything in the store did (especially the shoe-I didn't realize that that was how many turns I had left until I only had 10 days left)

Progression was great and made sense. I didn't see anything that seemed too good or bad, though I never bought the mushrooms. I like how the more expensive plants cost more resources, but give you more money when you sell them.

Great game!

DNA Polymerase by Bering 2016-01-01T23:45:00

Cool game; I like the idea. Sounds like it was inspired by chemistry class? I thought the game was pretty fun, but I think it would be a lot better if it was more of a challenge. Now, there isn't really anything wrong with walking away from your computer and coming back in an hour or so. Maybe if you had like 3 seconds to pick the next one and you lost a life if you pressed the wrong one or waited too long it would be more challenging. Also, the bug where you are never sure that there will be a right answer is kinda game-breaking...

Life of the Party by laaph 2016-01-02T00:18:00

OK, firstly, I really liked the dance moves; they were pretty cool. Also, the particle effects on the YOU ARE AWESOME screen was some pretty rockin' positive reinforcement.

<Sigh> Controls...??? You had 4-5 people doing this? Did you guys think like "OK, lets come up with the most awkward and seemingly-random controls imaginable, but still only use two buttons"? Did you guys play this? I guess I'll just count it as humor, because I would imagine that if you were sitting here behind me, you would be laughing non-stop at how incompetent I am at getting around the board.

Music was excellent, but just a tad repetitive. It did fit the game very well, though.

I got to level 5 I think, but then there were just so many people that I gave up. I found that it was way easier if you just moved on to the next person to make them dance then to stand near people to increase their time.

Cool game, but the controls made it feel weird, as the rest of the people who played it seem to think. :)

P. S. The fish was my favorite dance, though the flower pot (?) was also pretty cool.

Space Adventure 2000 by Anti 2016-01-01T23:58:00

Kind of addicting, though it would be more so (as others have pointed out) if you always started facing the same direction. The rocket looked good, but other than that there wasn't really all that much art. Audio was pretty good but sounded VERY abundant-music-y, which is pleasant but kind of distracting once you have heard a few 'randomly generated' songs it has made ;)

I do really like the turn left/right idea for the two buttons, though. It makes sense and is immediately intuitive. Keep practicing and you will undoubtedly be able to do this in half the time for the next LD, once you are more comfortable with the engine!

Trees - 60 lines of code - 60 minutes time... by Tosic 2016-01-01T23:49:00

Um... I guess it fits the theme. Just so you know, I just crashed the program when I typed 'water 3' when I had three trees, two dry and 1 healthy. Maybe spend closer to 24 hours on the 48 hour compo next time...

Murphy's chaos garden by BooleanByte 2016-01-02T01:03:00

Okay, the screen in the beginning has some serious grammatical issues and just sounds stupid if you read it out loud. As for the actual gameplay, I liked the two-choices element to the game, but I had no clue what was going on because there weren't any flowers, grass, or trees for me to grow. I do like the fact that you managed to use java, as it is much more difficult than some of the other choices out there (cough--unity--cough). Also, I really like the simulation idea, but first it has be be a game with a purpose and a way to win and lose, then it can be cool.

Super Space Invader by BlackBulletIV 2016-01-02T01:22:00

HOLY PARTICLES, man!!! BOOM!! EXPLOSION!! POW! PEW PEW PEW PEW! SHSHSHSH EXPLOSION! MORE PARTICLES!!!!! I SAID MORE!!!

<Shield Ready> <Shield Broken>
5 seconds later..

<Shield Ready> <Shield Broken>
...

BOOM-BOOM-BOOM! CHHHHHCHHCHH! BOOM! PEW PEW!
<Boss white thing comes down>
You Lose...

Yeah, so its a super fun game. Loved the amount of stuff and explosions and such. I liked the difficulty, but after putting about an hour into it, I could only make it to Round 9. I don't know if you wanted people to go further, but I think it gets really hard around there, especially if you hardly invested anything into the health side of things. Very fun though!

Graphics were cool, I liked the particles and the glow everything kinda had, as well as the way it looked like your spaceship was turning as you went left and right. Very cool, but stayed true to the retro theme.

Background music could have been better, but the manly voice <Shield Ready> and bfxr explosions made up for it.

Very fun game!

Long Long: A snake lies in the Past by Tapehead 2015-12-19T17:53:00

I really liked Solid Snake; got the reference and thought it was pretty funny. However, I found it WAY too hard. Like it takes about 15 minutes to pass a part too hard. I don't know how you could easily fix that though...

Loved the music and art, because as a programmer, I really struggle with those things.

I would really like it if you could tell me how you made the game just start at whatever size you choose instead of opening up the choose window size thing in the beginning. I would really like to make sure everyone who plays my game has the same width-to-height ratio, but I don't know how to do that with Unity. Thanks!

Couldn't figure out how to play... I ran it and it installed game maker studio, and then the same thing happened after I tried again... :(

test by ddr2 2015-12-19T18:33:00

kinda fun, but it would have been way more so if I had someone to play with. My wrist kinda hurts, now from clicking so much, though...

Cool game. I agree that multiplayer was probably not a great idea for an LD game. You first of all need multiple people playing at the same time, which is never easy, you have a ton of internet issues to work out, and there are always problems. If you would like to try my entry (multiplayer) here it is:

You do need someone else to play with, though...

No Mario's Sky by eigenbom 2016-08-31T02:21:00

Great job, love the idea and some of the generated goombas are hilarious! Took me like 10 minutes of flying through space to think, "You know what this game could really use? a Star Wars style Hyper Speed mode!" Well, turns out I just neglected to press the Z button those then minutes. Derp. Very fun game. Also, because its made in unity, there are the usual animation glitches (often in the running animation when jumping if you like fall off a cliff as you jump/locked into the jumping animation when on the ground, idk why). I do agree with the other criticism that the in-air movement is a little wonky too. Definitely kind of floaty and weird in the air. Especially one time when I thought I could make a jump but ended up falling into it three times in a row. Cool game though, played it for ages (for a LD game) before getting bored!

Flying Flip Phone by appleskin 2016-08-30T18:53:00

Cool game, love the Flip phone idea. I couldn't beat the second level for the life of me though, because I kept flying into the ceiling and stuff. Also, idk if it is Edge or what, but I couldn't see the battery life in the window anywhere, so I was just kinda guessing how much it felt like I had left most of the time. Cool game though!

URAHGGG by Wumbo 2016-08-30T18:34:00

I think I found the sound issue. It worked on my computer, but not my brothers laptop. Very weird considering that Unity is suppose to be cross-platform, but idk, its fixed now.

Gemu Namae by Elit3dGaming 2016-08-31T01:19:00

I tried running it, but in addition to being flagged as malware, it just opened up a terminal and no window otherwise. Sorry for the lack of useful information as a comment otherwise!

LD37 — One room

Flower Shop by Jezzamon 2016-12-31T04:27:00

I like the game overall, though I just don't seem to be in the mood for it right now, but maybe later I will come back to play it to figure everything out and understand all of the growth patterns.

The music is amazing. Love it.

Art is good overall, though the people are strikingly non-unique, which isn't super helpful for the memory part of it.

The main thing I wasn't super happy with was how many different things I had to keep straight all at once. There were just so many different variables, which I suppose might make it kind of fun for a memory-style game, but I just thought it was too much all at once. Things got even worse when there were four different people asking me to give them different things and then I got all confused, and it was just a mess, and then I didn't know what each thing did and I had to keep all the names straight, et cetera.

If I got out a pen and paper, though, to turn it into a logic puzzle, it would probably be much more fun. That's obviously not the point though.

Still great game; it feels very complete :)

Reunion by FunkyDelPueblo 2017-01-03T02:51:00

Fun idea, I am pretty sure I played through all of the possibilities, though it was shorter than I had expected, so I may have missed one. Clide (I think his name was) was cool, I liked him. My old friend was a complete a-hole though... Why would I have made friends with him in the first place???

Cool game though, made you think!

Horror Hotel - Room #13 by PRANEET56 2016-12-30T23:19:00

Sorry, can't run it because I don't know how to get past windows smartscreen, which thinks its a virus...

Fox in the grange by DevForPizza 2016-12-31T04:45:00

Very fast paced and twitchy. I do like that the game is runnable online though!

Interesting choice of music; impressive if you created it yourself! The explosions and the sound that went with them was a nice touch.

I don't know if it was intended or what, but for some reason, some of the enemies died in one shot, and others took multiple... But the range seemed to matter too, maybe? I couldn't really tell, partly because the background was so detailed and everything was moving so quickly that I couldn't keep track of where my bullet was going.

Pretty cool game regardless!

Decade by graebor 2017-01-03T02:37:00

Cool game, I absolutely love the way you did the background shift when it loads new text!

Botanic Balcony by pmarincak 2016-12-31T04:46:00

umm... can't play because I don't have a VR headset... :( looks fun though (don't worry, I didn't rate it)

Hot Seat by TeamChaton 2016-12-31T04:58:00

Very fun game, though the audio didn't seem to work for me, so I didn't rate you on it. (idk if there was suppose to be audio or what...) Great art, original idea. It would have been nice for at least one player to be able to use the keyboard though, because we only have two controllers, but four people want to play :(...

Fun game nevertheless!

Cloud Chaser by handoharken 2016-12-30T23:40:00

I like the steering, and I got through a lot of the game, though I didn't really understand what the green goblin was or why he was killing me... great physics and rendering for doing it in java though!

Rudum Bare by Alex Rose 2017-01-03T02:45:00

Haha, love the game. Hillarious characters, great music, and fantastic backstory! I especially loved PoV!

Legacy by rojo 2016-12-31T04:38:00

Love the spooky mood and the atmosphere the game creates. While I did like the puzzle solving atmosphere, I thought the controls were a little wonkey, and I kind of think the puzzles would have been more fun if I could have seen the whole thing at once. In three dimensions, visualizing things like a 2D grid just isn't that fun when you are better off getting a piece of paper and pencil out and working it out from a top-down point of view. Cool game though, and loved the music!

Sight by alfie275 2016-12-30T23:42:00

sorry, can't run it; smartscreen thinks it is a virus for some reason

Toy Soldier War by ALobker 2016-12-30T23:16:00

Like the xbox controller support, fun lighthearted music, though it doesn't really match the "kill everyone" theme of the game. Also, the particle effects for the ring look very cool.

Dungeon 2.0 by TheMonsterFromTheDeep 2016-12-30T23:48:00

Suprisingly fun game, though I unfortunately didn't get to experience all of the weapons because I kept dying with all the enemies that spawned so fast.

I do like that the enemies have more life over time and that you can upgrade your weapons, that made the game much more fun. Also, if you have time for a post-compo version, it might be a good idea to have certain checkpoints where you let the player kill all of the enemies of the screen before spanwing any more to let them catch their breath once in a while so that they can see more of the weapons.

Fun game though!

Fantastical Flora by QuestionableQuality 2016-12-30T23:32:00

Great graphics, good music, the interface seems like it would be very well designed for a phone, but on a computer the constant swiping gets a bit annoying. I managed to figure everything out except for Cutethulu, which I cannot get for the life of me. For some reason, every combination that doesn't result in a plant is incompatible, unless I managed to miss one.

Very cool game though, and I loved the art!

Trump's First Day by jamioflan 2016-12-31T04:13:00

Great game!!!!

I played it 4 or 5 times, and I was only able to Make America Great Again once, but not very bigly...

Still super fun though once you get the hang of what goes where. In the future, you could maybe increase the number of tweets Trump makes (as in have different ones, not have him tweet more often; I saw the same ones quite a few times).

Mechanics are all solid and hilarious, though diplomacy is very hard to earn and the reward for eating a taco seems a bit low. Music was great, helped the mood, and the game fit the theme well enough. Great game overall!
