LD36 — Ancient Technology

Pharaoh's Treasure by owndbyu 2016-08-29T14:48:00

Oh woooow ! So much work dude ! Amazing :D
I just played your game, and a tutorial is REALLY important here, i spent 15 minutes to find how to kill this thieves, but thanks to @lonesurvivor I found out there were something else than blocks :p

Finally, good music, nice graphism, matching sounds, gameplay amazing, path finding (really?!), concept matching the theme... Even build a strategy is funny, helping with the pathfinding (strike to the chest) and helping with actuals walls, I could kill 25 of them :D

Your game deserves much attention, an to be evaluated a good tutorial, you might add something as a fix like "Hey, click around the block on the top to change selected tool !" and everything will be fine ^^

Thanks a lot mate :D

Escape The Pyramid ! by Vegevan 2016-08-29T12:27:00

Oh yeah, I didn't had time to implements QWERTY controls, you ight try with AZERTY configured inputs.
For the scaling window, I totally agree, still lokking for proper solution. Thanks for feedback ^^

Escape The Pyramid ! by Vegevan 2016-08-29T13:29:00

@g_o Thanks for asking, the controls have been reviewed, not properly but must be working ^^
@QwaKlak WASD controls have been fixed. The bug you mentionned is about space being the HUD-select control; I fixed it by disabling the buttons. Thanks !

NB: It is 3:30 pm, the update is loading, so wait a few minutes and try in ten minutes :)
Thanks guys ! How about the gameplay / gamefeel ? Can you give me your feelings ? :)

Escape The Pyramid ! by Vegevan 2016-08-29T13:58:00

@everyone The fixes is uploaded, thanks for sharing with me and don't hesitate to ask for more ^^
@owndbyu Yay thanks a lot for your comment, glad to see a satisfaied player :D
@RugbugRedfern What do you mean with controls ? Try newest version (same link), maybe the problem is solved.
@SetTheBet really ? I cliked on the link and a zip file tried to be download, do you want me to host it elsewhere ?

Escape The Pyramid ! by Vegevan 2016-08-29T15:09:00

@mathias234 Yeah I agree with the shadowing bugs, that is my first try with lightnings, next LD will be better ;) Thanks for your comment !

Escape The Pyramid ! by Vegevan 2016-08-29T15:50:00

@JustASHadow Which writting are you talking about ? For the resolution, I just don't know how to do it yet, but thanks for the idea, I've seen something like this i'll give a look :)

@g_o I'm so happy, you can't understand; that was hard to make something funny with only three types of cell and two mechanics ^^ I'm so glad you enjoyed, thanks for sharing it with me :D I guess WASD works fine now ? Anyway, thank you so much, you made my LD :D

@wheerd Thanks for the suggestions and remarks. About the character position, I haven't touch the camera settings but I will soon :) As I said, that was my first try with ligthnings and I had some issues with the occluders to make mysterious places (Stage_1 begin, you can't see the relic unless you're on the moving platform); come see my next game on LD37 for better lightnings ;)
The checkpoints were the very next todo thing, I'm sorry the time lacked for this feature :/
Anyway wheerd, big thank to you for your very complete comment.

Thanks a lot mates, I'll go to your entry with time, be sure of that :D

Escape The Pyramid ! by Vegevan 2016-08-29T18:52:00

@DifferentName Hi, thanks for the comment. Checkpoints were planned, I apologize for not having implemented them on time ^^ I tried to do shorts level instead, but I get your comment :)

@pogo575 That's odd; but I know there is (on stage 2 with red statues) a known problem up there; I couldn't get fixed on time and correcting it might change the level too much for a simple "fix". Sorry you had a problem. BTW, know that colliding while hooking stops the flight and makes you fall.

@onyon Thanks a lot, first time I try this kind of graphics :D

@g_o Many thanks ^^

Ben'sStories: GreatGrandfather's Story by QwaKlak 2016-08-29T14:24:00

Hey I just played your game, that was funny ! As everyone said, the main problem to enjoy the game as its full potential is that we have bad feedback and we don't know how exactly our actions influences the game.
Some solutions, great the reaction to actions, a slave missing rest should have an icon, an animation and a red arrow down to show he works less. Happyness / Sadness is a good idea, maybe you should write what it implies (a work multiplicator ? A production per second (eg: 0.5%/s).
Visual are not that bad IMO, simply you made the whole thing on the whole screen so it looks so big ! The text centered would have given a better view for the same work you did.

Anyway, the concept is ambitious, I'm happy there are ambitious games ! I had fun, I'd have liked more feedback, I guess this is your real "problem" :)

Thanks mate ! :D

The Ancients Call by smilewood 2016-08-29T11:42:00

Hey I just played your game, that was really interesting. I also participated for the first time, so consider it in my comment :)
I found the game pretty boring at first sight, but playing it became quickly addictive, I wanted to see what will happen, which enemies will I found and I found myself playing again after something like 15 minutes haha
I've hardly understood why everyone is so mad with the ancient point, and if the game is proceduraly generated or not so I didn't finished it; but this might be due to the fact I didn't sleep for nearly 30 hours haha
Nice game eventually, had fun to play and that's all about it ;)
See you next on LD 37 ! Thanks !

Catapult by g_o 2016-08-29T12:47:00

Hi, I just played your game :)
That was weird to take in hands. Some time to understand where to click and when, we might need some user details such as arrows to move the weapons or highlighting clickables controls.
The music is really nice, simple but I liked it and my very unefficient-and-terrible-music-maker skills envy you :p
No problem while downloading or loading. Aprreciated the extra that took me a laught, and the "maintenance - junk food and ice cream" haha

Finally, the game needs some finish and polish fixes, but this is a nice entry though :)
Thanks mate !

Zombieval by Terrabalt 2016-08-29T11:54:00

Heym I just played your game; that was quite nice. I had some issues with the toggle statement of arrows and not only press-to-cast style, but that was nice finally. I found the hitbox of the word a bit tigth, but it didn't mind me thought.
Finally, I don't know if it is the strategy you wanted, but I found that taunting them all before casting the arrow where the most effective strategy. So I get close, they all follow me, I wait for the arrows and go back to first step. Maybe it lacks of an element valorizing the sword, as a heal or a real effectiveness.
I had fun and that's all that matters ;) Thanks !

The House on the Right by WERT Studio 2016-08-29T20:00:00

About the game, the realision is a bit draft. Some light effect could have been done by Unity instead of white pixels on the objetcs (for instance). The movements are fine, we could totally see what was revelent or not. That was fun, thanks for the game ! ;)

Okay so let's try to find what happened !
--- SPOIL ---
This is the house of Mr and Ms Burnwood. We observe two bodies, one on the couch, the other near the main door with blood track on the ground from the other couch. The bullets are respectively in the tv in front of the big couch whereas the other bullet is in the second couch. The bullet-box (socket?) are both in the bathroom. It appears the shooter shot through the wall to kill the first one in the head, but miss the head of the other Burnwood. This one tries to reach crawling the main door where the security engine is broken where it died sit against a wall.
In the bedroom, we can observe boxes of medecines, might it be somniferes next to the bed and some selfies in the house.
Finally, many daily papers on the table and in the living room. The Burnwood are owner of a successful company but some day Ms Burnwood sells a fourth of the company. The name of Sarah Zuch is mentionned without any clue.
My conclusion : Some one wanted the Ms Burnwood stop to sell the company parts. Somehow, M. Burnwood didn't stop her so he deserved to die too. Maybe the second of the Burnwoods' company wanted the whole power and kill them both.

I fatally missed a clue, did the killer entered by the kitchen window ? Or is the third photo one of the secret lover of Ms Burnwood that came to avenge for waiting too long ? Dunno, give me the solution please :D

Sword man by bog13 2016-08-29T02:23:00

Awesome graphics ! Nah really fine artwork on blood and musics.
The snipers has some issues with super-powers I guess, does it miss a dash or something to counter the rapid fires ?
Nice game, short to test with it :p

Pyramid Builder ADV by snaps 2016-08-29T13:00:00

Hey, I just played your game :)
I've been surprised by the dot texture / filter that is hard to handle in fullscreen with a big brick on front view haha
Otherwise, I'd have appreciated a key to rotate the selected brick, I wanted some fantasy in my pyramid :p
I liked the sounds to tell you when you take then take off the brick you select, nice helper. The pysics are good, but the camera / character lacks of frcition meaning you slide on the ground after walking a bit, and I made some bricks fall due to this slide ^^
Finally, a little background music / sound would have given some deepness to your work, but the simulator is here. Just sad to find that we had a place to settle our pyramid and make it fly while I've done mine in a black space near the spawning point :p

Had fun building, thanks mate !

Bobby Bow by AWOL 2016-08-29T19:01:00

Hey I just played your game. Know that I'm a friend of bog13 that made the same game with a sword haha
I found the graphism rather cool even if more worked could have been better ^^ I wished we could walk / run faster because we can't escape a single spider, so we can't escape even more; some speed would have balanced a bit that problem I guess.
Just to say, the splashscreen has a terrible background sprite haha My eyes burn, that's like an optical illusion :p

I had fun, the music and sound was satisfaying, you got a good LD ^^
Thanks :D

creepy shooter by syre 2016-08-29T12:05:00

Oh f*ck haha !
Hi there I just played your game; that was deep feelings haha
The really good points to notice are :
- the large various types of enemy : that was hard to learn which are the most dangerous and that was good for the gameplay (finding the danger, escape the new enemy shots...); however the sun... The sun has a terrible sounds that made me laught so hard :p That Creepy bastard !
- The sounds are worked, every single things in the game has a sound and that felt good to me.
- The difficulty, I didn't play a lot sorry; but that was intense. Dodging shots while getting closer to the freacking sun while keeping tracks of other enemies: I actually liked this gameplay ^^

Some points to work on :
The automatic shot surprised me, is there a reason you didn't make the mouse shooting ? I felt like I lost a part of the gameplay ^^
The hitbox visual is really fine, classy; but I didn't really understand when I'll be dying (how many lives do I have ?); I guess two but I don't know; that was a bit unpredictible to me :)

Anyway, I had fun, that was a good game (web testing is so much faster than downloading !); thanks mate !

Aqueductus by wheerd 2016-08-29T16:00:00

Hey I just played your game ! A first sight, I thought it was really easy, but with the second level, I understood the role had the cities and woods :P
The graphics are really fine and works together, the water animation is awesome; but the time to detect connected-and-filling-cities water is a bit long, so getting quicker than 25s for the first level is hard for a few clicks. Anyway, just a remark :p
Finally, the only suggestion I could do is to highlight the movable blocks from the statics ones; in spagettis level, I needed a lot of time to find which blocks could be part of solution and which are actually obstacles :)

I had fun with your game, thanks for it ! :)

Flash Alien by FatalFemalesVideogameFactory 2016-08-29T12:21:00

Hi I just played your game !
First, I found the idea really funny, thanks for doing a game with it haha The irony was hight :D
Looking to the gameplay, I've been a bit disappointed due to some un-functionnalities that kept me away from the fun :/
First the loading screen isn't one, I waited like some minutes ont the first screen, a hint would have been appreciated haha
Then, the collisions are weird, some platforms looks hand-placed and the pixel collision is real, meaning you collide the ground while walking due to bad mapping. That isn't bad at all, it just looks like unfinished :)

Regarding the enemies and the fight system; i found myself blocked right before the second enemy, where jumping from the higther platform makes me collide with the above cell and falling on the enemy, or just walking and passing finally right to the enemy where... The big problem, you can't beat the enemy from the right. The character won't turn over and the selfy stick will be recording your hard death by a blob haha

Anyway, the level design could have been less harsh, more continous and some features still looks in progress; but I had fun :)

NB: Could'nt set up the controls working with a AZERTY keboard, I can't tell if I'm the problem or the game haha

Nice day 'mate !

Flash Alien by FatalFemalesVideogameFactory 2016-08-29T12:24:00

Oh oh oh ! And the graphics was so attractive, I've clicked due to te screenshots ! Nice job on it; really ! :D

LD38 — A Small World

You Dig-It by recursor 2017-04-24T11:41:24Z

Well well well, that was awesome :D It only lacks a background music IMO :p I enjoyed the game, the graphisms are cool, the sounds very effective, the gameplay funny and the stress present ^^ I loved it ! Thanks !

Bunosphere by torcado 2017-04-24T10:32:59Z

The game is really good looking, and i love bunnies haha Really nice idea ! Took me a while before understanding the world wasn't that small in facts You did a great job !

Mr-Vpn by tobia88 2017-04-24T11:10:27Z

Hey there, I just played your game and the gameplay is really cool ! I tried many fake url but can't find any easter egg, sadly haha Anyway; I had a lot of fun, until great-pipe.com where I couldn't find how to manage to reach it. I'm stuck man ! Where can I buy the full solution book ? :p Really cool game, and the VPN character made me laugh haha

EDIT: shit I just played the bug version ?! So i'm now stuck on the same page: greatone.com haha Nice game man !

Zynite by broken-matrix 2017-07-31T08:43:00Z

Hey there, I played your game and that i'm quite mixed. As some said, I can see the potential is enormous, and after some time a started understanding what was the building purpose. Anyway, I ended lost in this building tree trying to experimentally deduce their behavior.

So as it is a ludum dare and saying it's boring is the worst thing one can do here (LittleCJ, I'm coming to you); here are some advide: * The game lacks of lore and atmoshpere. You might have a huge potential, if the player doesn't stick to the world it won't be noticed. Maybe an introduction and some musical background would have change *a lot* how the game is seen (from "unfinished" to "a bit to ambitious" :)) * The tutorial screen exists, yay ! But as we didn't see the game yet, we don't really know what is capital to remember. It did a great job the two first turns, but once lost, you're alone haha Maybe, try doing it with screenshots and more than one screen, as the player feel introduced to something and bind a feature to its visual. * The world does the job, good idea not working on a huge ultra-realistic 3D map, keep it simple ! * The buiding visual is fine actually, the houses look good, the crystal is hot (said from a developer lacking of graphical skills haha) * User feedback, as other said, would have been a huge plus, here it feels a bit empty. You said something like "if you can't put the building here, it will simply not do it", I guess a buzz sound or something would have been as fast to implement that writing it haha

Anyway, this is your entry, don't feed the troll and be proud of you, you finished something in only 48h; it doesn't matter how perfect it looks or not, the journey was your real reward ;) 'See you !

LD39 — Running out of Power

Robo Climb by pyrosneak 2017-07-31T12:47:41Z

Hey there, I just played your game and I really liked it ! * The jump is slow, yes, but it allows to think more about where to go etc, it didn't really bother me * The music was awesome, it gave a really good atmosphere to the game and is one of the main reason I kept playing haha * There is an "exploit" if you keep pressing spawce you can't die from the enemy, so I kept focusing on climbing, kept near a battery, pressed space until they died, took the battery and went back climbing haha * The sounds are cool, sounds like SFXR, but i might be wrong. * I love playing your game, nice entry man ! For next time, please add a splashscreen so we can prepare to play, and why not a pause button so my coffee doesn't wait for me haha

Thanks a lot, be proud ! :D

Broad Empire by bog13 2017-07-31T18:52:33Z

Oh man, so far this entry deserve the award of best musics ! First, there are three of them where other game barely has ambiance sounds. Then, they're sooooo good, I just let the screens play it for minutes, 5/5 music, congrat's !

Now regarding the game * I was expecting that with our base army (with our base gold amount) we could afford the first castle, instead of that, I just suicided many times and never took one. Maybe the farm is the solution, but I always ended up to trigger a castle; and once out they never go back to their castle haha * The orders works fine, but I often forgot which state I was in, maybe an indicator like shield/sword in the GUI would have been useful :) * The graphics OMG ! I lol-ed so hard haha At least the whole game is consistent, this is not a bad point, just something... One can't miss playing the game * Just saying too, the binary file is a bit hidden, maybe a shortcut or README could help some to find it; anyway.

Eventually, this is a very good entry. Mainly because you didn't use any engine, just the SFML library and you did something great, even awesome ! You should write you techs somewhere so the others know (for the lambda reader, yes we did the LD together haha).

Thanks for the fun, I enjoyed the time spent here !

Emergency Evacuation by spacewarp 2017-07-31T12:06:54Z

Hey, I just played your game. That was fun, I liked it :D * It lacks a bit of music * I didn't perfectly understood the role of each station at first, maybe learning on the way could have been more efficient :)

I have not more to say, it's a real game and funny ! Oh also, I broke the game once, evacuating at the very last moment, going next turn was free so I clicked until turn 1107 haha See ? vivaldi_2017-07-31_14-02-42.png

Had fun thanks !

Supplice by Vegevan 2017-07-31T10:59:07Z

That's hell, we can swear down there haha, Thanks for the review ! :)

Supplice by Vegevan 2017-07-31T11:52:46Z

Haha, you just needed to come back pick two of them to finish the last level before boss and ending scene ^^ Thanks for playing and reviewing !

Supplice by Vegevan 2017-07-31T13:04:08Z

@vkmicro Thanks for the very constructive comment ! The space mapping has been told before I uploaded but it got out of my mind so many times, sorry if you had some issues playing my game ^^ Oh and you are the first to beat the game, huge congratulations to you !

@gagapete Haha, I can't be more happy that you spent so much time on this. Regarding the disappaering bones, I can't tell you, that's strange. Didn't you just pick them up, back on you with 'E' ? Thanks for the comment, and I can't agree more regarding graphics and physics haha

@exr I laughted way too hard on this joke haha, Thanks for playing and commenting !

Power (for) the Flower by Poller 2017-07-31T09:44:08Z

Hey there, I played your game and there are a bit to say: * First, I enjoyed it, that was easy to take in hands, really ergonomic. * You have music ! That's not that common apparently, thanks for this effort. Actually, you have graphics, sounds and music, congrats ! :D * The level seems to be proceduraly generated, right ? I felt in a map where I couldn't go back (5 tile height, a gap and 1 tile height requiring while coming back a jump of at least 4 tiles); take care to those naughty cases ^^

I liked the idea and found it fun to play, so to conclude, nice entry, even more with Java/libgdx instead of a big game engine, good one :)

Lost in Deep Space by Emicarn 2017-07-31T12:28:52Z

Haaaahaha, it remembers me my first entry, I uploaded seven times my game. Indeed there is an issue with the camera, please notify me once you've fixed that if you want a feedback. So far, there is only a bit to say: * There is a splashscreen, well done, we have time to prepare, not all games let us do * There is explanation, congrats ! The first error in LD is making a game but forgetting to explain its rule. * The space ship movement is logical, but it isn't as smooth as i expected, maybe a performance issue ? * The background is here, good point; however I personnaly, subjectively and it only concern me, don't like it haha (my game has a creepy background too so I should say nothing but hey, you look very cool on this page)

Thanks for sharing and trying !

The Defective One by gagapete 2017-07-31T10:05:23Z

Hey there, I just played your game. Actually that was not bad at all.

* The power management is fun and stressful due to environment dangers, the double focus is a cool concept * The idea to suck energy is cool too * You used the awesome free game engine Godot Engine, so I love you * The feedback is cool, but the two (maybe three?) sounds reflects the lack of immersion, no sound while spending energy, nor sucking. And restarting is your choice whereas a timeout could have been implemented (maybe there is one actually ?) * Anyway, I liked the graphic design, paper/drawing is pretty good, I might reuse it for next jam ^^ * Nice movement and physics, but maybe a bit slow you know ?

Nice entry, I liked it :D

The Last Light by Loktor 2017-07-31T09:57:36Z

Oh man your game ! My feedback: * THAT WAS FUN ! A real game, I don't know, I played this game way too long, but I couldn't resign to die haha * The design is sober and efficient and the lightning gives a real atmosphere to this world, the night impression was there * The controls (web + chrome as you told not to do haha) are easy, but the character does some weird things, I guess this is browser issue. Any way, I liked the quick jump traveling the whole map and killing monsters with a ninja-style * The gameplay is fun, accuracy is key, BUT its lacks of growing difficulty. The number grows too slows, the uber wave is more fun than terrifying and the arrows are unlimited so we finish up firing all along when there is too much. Maybe a cooldown, a pool would have been a good choice to adjust the difficulty. * Also, the last light growing up with red enemies caught me; I wanted to see how big it could become and I stopped when the whole map was lighten and my coffee cold because... * It lakcs of a pause button. This is survival action game, and I was drinking ! I would have ppreciate it even more with a coffee break between uber waves haha Just joking and telling you ^^ * I regret there is no story, lore around this, the character seems mysterious and i'd have like to be introduced in this handsome game

That's a perfect man, for a second LD this is really, really good \o/ I just put you bad rating for the theme as the power reducing isn't that ... well... Actually it is; I changed my mind haha

Be proud of you !

LD39 Compo: Trindle Armored Defense by vkmicro 2017-07-31T12:59:47Z

Hey there ! I couldn't let you go from my page with this comment without giving you the way back ! :D So, I played your game and here is what I've to say:

* Thanks you for the splashscreen it lakes a lot this LD on many other games haha * I like the explanations, clear and simple, but the cooldown is the last thing I saw and it was a bit short before I had read it all. So maybe increasing it or putting in on top could have been a good idea :) * The mapping on the numpad: Oh My God ! Excellent idea, never a binding has been that efficient, THANKS ! * The super blast of the base is overpowered, this is really cool to detonate, I nearly suicided myself just to see it destroy everything haha * The choice strong / fast for the tanks is good, both deserve a try and has its own speciality, liked it.

Everything was very clear, this is a very good entry, specially for a second entry ^^ You can be proud of you, thanks for sharing and thanks for the fun (and thanks for the tanks; now we're even on the bad jokes haha)

Alien Swarm by oxrock 2017-07-31T09:36:37Z

Hey there, I just played your game, that was interesting. Here are some advices: * It lacks of a tutorial, the time to understand it all requires to die once haha * A splashscreen to tell "I'm ready to play now" would have been appreciated * The theme is literaly applied, good job ! * The UI is efficient, I liked it * The shooting system is fun, trying to adjust like with a real gun; however I played the web version and managing to keep the mouse in the game area while aiming was laborious. I don't know hot to solve it, can you block the mouse somehow ? I don't know, just telling. * It definitly lacks of music haha

Nice entry, be proud of you ! :)

D34TH by Falk Bruskeland 2017-07-31T12:36:45Z

Hey I jut played your game, that was a really good one for a first LD ! Congrats ! * There are explanations, * This is graphically very good and consistent * The sounds totally match, I would have like a little music but it works like this * The controls are smooth, hard to manage to avoid the bullets but this is my problem, not yours haha * I got stuck at the (apparently) last platform of second level, didn't know where to go ^^ * I didn't kill the villagers, nor all the policemen and the game does'nt care; I like this freedom BUT, is it why i've been blocked ? If so, I still like it but it needs to be mentionned haha

Thanks for the fun, be proud of you !

PowerTac by abc64 2017-07-31T10:10:18Z

Hey there, I played your game.

* The graphic design is cool, the animation is smooth and the overall looks sober and fine * However, this is a "simple" tic-tac-toe with time issue, I can't really judge you if I don't know the time you spent on it, but it may lack a bit of ambitious haha * Is it actually possible to win ? Is there a random "error" factor ? Because the draws are numerous but the wins are inexistant * I don't really agree saying power = time here, so the theme isn't really integrated IMO

Thanks for sharing anyway !

RedLight by doorless 2017-07-31T12:16:29Z

Hey I just played your game, there is to say: * The red light thing if fun, I liked the idea but maybe the radius was a bit short as I couldn't tell what killed me every time * The atmosphere is cool, a bit stressful and the music help feeling the danger * The controls however are a bit harsh, the ladders works strangely cutting gravity down and somehow blocking you on its extremities. * The torch means a lot, giving points of reference, nice idea

I didn't had fun, but I felt introduced to a world I would have loved to know; i left due to controls and lack of lights, just so you know ^^

Thanks for the fun !

Hey I just played your game ! Here are some feedbacks * The spaceship movements are good, even though I would have like it to b a bit slower accelerating because getting the orb just next to you requires huge skills haha * The idea is pretty fun, simple and efficient, well done here * The idea of getting a serie is good, challegning. But if you die getting too long on the bottom edge, maybe having a counter of all the orbs we got this run from last death would have been a bit "rewarding", because once the challenge of huge serie is gone there is nothing more, whereas I like the challenge "the longest survival" haha * Sounds are really good, excellent atmosphere felt here, it may lack of a music with some beats to get the speed / hurry idea :)

Thanks a lot, this is a good entry IMO; I enjoyed and this is the most important !

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deeper Descent by Vegevan 2021-04-27T13:29:56Z

@morphine Thanks a lot for your review. I really appreciate the honest feedback and I know this format doesn't work well with a LD where you try to play as many games as possible in the review phase. This game demands very little time but very frequently and I was hoping reviewers would let it go in a second tab while going into other submissions to be honest haha I'll check tonight about the reward Item, I do changed something and made it automatically equipped, anyway if you don't have the sword of LD48 I'll reward you with a better one in compensation

@quetzakol Thank you very much for the time you spent on my submission ! I know this game demands a lot of time. A few hours before the release my gf told me there was absolutely no text to explain what the game is about. This is why the tutorial is quick short and the explanations approximative. Fortunately i'm working on this every day now and i'll add more and more context, so if you were a little bit interested feel free to come back in a few weeks and check out ! Hotwire (which I'm a huge fan) is definitely plugged in, but nothing in the website actually uses it, itdemanded a bit too much work to use directly. I'm planning to incorporate it really soon, so stay tuned ! For now, the game is proper Ruby On Rails + Bulma CSS + Stimulus JS ! Anyway, it's nice to see an expert eye like yours on my game

Hi @goutye ! First of all: a HUGE thank you. I was hoping at least one person liking the game, and here you are with all your good energy ! I felt overwelmed reading you comment so thank you very much ! I'm very interested in your experience ! Would you mind chatting a bit with me one day or over asynchronous media ? About your game improvement i totally understand. The thing is I have technical limitaiton due to my usage of a tool's free tier. However, last night I found a way to bypass it a little and now the timers are reaaaally more accurate ! This is really noticable so feel free to try it some day ! I am about to search you in my account database and reward you with a special item ASAP.

LD54 — Limited Space

Ant Underwater Odyssey by Vegevan 2023-10-01T18:12:06Z

Hello Hello, Playtests have started and apparently there as some known issues: - On windows, when dying, you may crash instead of landing on the lose screen. Sorry for that, no fix can be found at the moment

I'd like to insist on few extra informations: - You can live up to 10 seconds underwater, use it wisely - don't feel pressure to press the space bar, controls are meant to use it only for jumps

And to finish, I'm sorry about the controls; that was technically hardcore, and animating the puppet with it was the next level horror.

Thanks !

LD55 — Summoning

Necromancer Survival by Vegevan 2024-04-14T16:52:05Z

Hello there 🐥

Known bugs: - When you die, and you play again _without_ relaunching the game; you effectively keep all your upgrades and level (and the ennemies are as strong as when you died). This is effectively a chrono reset; feel free to abuse it or restart the game !
