I really struggled to visually understand the map, and I'm not 100% convinced the first level is even possible. Enemies just seemed to walk towards me and I didn't really have a way to deal with them. Just take the hit and run.
@DragonZBW (SparkLight Games) Make sure you've got the newest version of Java.
Very Nice i love your Game Good Works )=
Cool art and music.
The game was extremely hard, I was able to get through the robots and the first wolves. Though game crashed when I lost on the second wolves scenario.
Would've been nice to had a few easier scenarios first before you racked up the difficulty.
Oh, I feel so dizzy now.
The third map has a hole so it is possible to move outside the map.
I'd recommend to improve camera control and tweak the difficulty a bit.
Cool game but I think a little bit too difficult in the first levels. And, I think I will remember this game because : "After realized you escaped the wolves, you realize that you did not escape the wolves" x)
The musics are cool too :)
Won't run on my Windows 7 machine:
Unrecognized option: -XstartOnFirstThread
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
@yotam180 Make sure you're running the jar file directly on Windows
Wow ! Thats a nice little game. I love the art style and the music is alright. It's an hard game but I love when a game is hard. Good work.
This game is hard * 451, and I played the easy version. Okay the idea is fun and both the music and graphics are great.
Wow very challenging and well made. The smoothness of the whole thing makes me what to pick up Java again.
This game is soooo fun!, I'm going to show it to my students :)
thanks
Thanks for your feedback everyone!
@AWOL If you're interested: I might write a post-mortem about the game and I'll probably write about the Java/Lua engine bit as well.
Cool
You are kind of rail roaded on to one path that is very hard to dodge enemies on. I found the audio to be nice and was interested in the story but could not progress past the first level due to the difficulty. I imagine there must be some trick to it that I'm not seeing, or just being better at it.
@Aaranos It's true that some enemies can't be avoided (of course that shouldn't be the case), but it should be doable on at least the easy version. Have you tried that version?
I was about to give up, and read the comments here.
knowing it was actually possible, I found out a way to ruuun ! the 3rd level is not that hard so, but the overall game is definitely a cool game for hard gamers :D
Very challenging! I feel like I'm a wet bar of soap, the way I slip around everywhere! :P
The vroom-vroom audio stopped playing in one of the later stages (might've been the last stage?) and never came back, but that problem didn't last long as I reached the end of the game right after that.
The cubic styled graphics look sweet, and the dialog was amusing. Nice job! :)
