It's a bit off theme but it's a fun game nonetheless
@LCMW_Spud why do you believe it's off theme? tell me more?
Nice art, i like the character! Fun game.
@lekiy Sorry about that, the crypt thing slipped my mind when writing that, sorry
I can't hear any sounds, some music and sound effects would be nice. Difficult but fun though, well done!
Agh! The game is more difficult and unforgiving than dark souls.
Pretty difficult, sounds would be nice, otherwise I loved the art. And one issue is the feet can be seen under the pillars :P
Not bad I like it.
Nice game, the difficulty is pretty hard though. Enemies or your preojectiles seem to have too big hitboxes, as the projectiles hit them before the graphics do. The characters feed clip through the pillars. Clibing up ladders can be wonky, if you climb into a wall or ceiling, you fall off. And after dying a coupe of times and having to go through the intro againand again, I gave up :/
cool game, liked it. The ladders are a bit hard to climb, because you fall off if you go left or right on them.
Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
Nothing personal but i hate your ladders, just climbing business.
I hate that rude one and only heart too.
I have come to like playing it despite my added hatred for one-shooting skeletons, no idea how that sorted out this way though.
Graphics look nice but take a closer look at the gameplay, this Zelda II restart feels like a punishment.
Unfortunately I cannot play your 64 bit executable on my 32 bit system.
Pretty fun game, well done with the art. there were some slight bugs such as I couldn't climb the ladder until I jumped and then climbed, anyways good job with the game :D
Pretty decent platformer.
I think it would have been better if you had followed the control conventions of similar games, I'm mainly thinking of Cave Story here. I.e. arrows to move, ZX etc to shoot/jump. I know you probably made it WASD because of the mouse aiming.
Right now I feel the movement takes a back seat because of the aiming, feels counter-intuitive. Maybe it's just me and what I'm used to :)
