I'm not sure whether I liked this game or not. I though the concept was great! The idea of controlling and building up a city without completely copying Sim City.

But I felt that the camera was hard to use, so the text above the cards that are layed down was really hard to read. This might just be me, but I felt that the UI font was also pretty hard to read. The part that really bothers me though is that the instructions are a bit unclear. I'm still not completely sure how it works, but that you're raising some stats that do stuff I'm not told about. I found myself slapping cards on random tiles and hoping it did something. I'm also still not sure why tiles dissapear after a little while.

I didn't end up completing it, but that's just because I realized that would take a really long time. I'm not against this, as I think I got the full experience enough to judge it, but it would have been nice to have the option to finish it within like 5-10 minutes.

Also, there's a bug where if you zoom in all the way it's possible to come out of the bottom of the island.

@RubiksJr Thanks for your comment, I just realised I forgot to put the proper controls down. With these it should be easier to control. However if it still isn't I'd love to know. It needs proper balancing however, something that takes ages. Don't worry though, I think you get a good idea after 5-10 minutes. I'll rework the instructions tonight.

I think @RubiksJr said everything I wanted to say using the exact same words I wanted to use.

To be honest, I didn't understand how it worked, so I too just placed the tokens randomly and watched the numbers on the right change. Though frankly I never could play these types of games, so this may be just me being stupid.

Also, I want to praise the visuals (even though I didn't like the font since it was a bit hard to read) and the nice, calm music. It feels very polished and nicely done.

A bit confusing at start, but I like the graphics and the concept ^^ Good entry.

i think there is a big concept in this game that couldn't be done in souch a short time. I really didnt get whats the point of everything, but as far as i can see, you have a new intresting mechanic that needs more polishing in objectives.

I like the concept, it's interesting like a mix between board game and sim, but the text on the game it's difficult to read, that font is not helping and I couldn't understand the rules.

I liked it enough to be playing for awhile and it seems that I wasn't even close to finish it.

If you keep working on the game, perhaps improving the text and explaining the rules a bit better or just showing more info to the player this could be very good :)

Played the game, concept is good about building the village. I just keep dragging and putting them on the tiles(also over houses) it seems working somehow, but i cant get the game overall. If you improve the description of how to play this game and change it to a readable font, then might get..

The game aesthetically was very pleasing, everything was a nice pastel color and the music was relaxing, a perfect fit for a city building game.

the game play was a bit to be desired, i liked the idea but it was rather confusing as to what was happening and how to progress.

I had no idea what the controls were but after looking at the comments that was remedied quite quickly.

A bit of polishing and i think this could go places, Good job.

I agree with most people about the UI and learning curve, but overall I'm impressed. I figured out what was going on after a bit and had a lot of fun, researched everything and made my city pretty big. (P.S. I somehow got my money past max int and it wrapped around, should probably be unsigned)

The graphics are nice, the concept seems great, but I didn't quite understand what was going on, I put random tokens and saw the numbers growing
If you could work a little bit on a pretty interface/tutorial, your game would be excellent I think

It's a great idea, and you pretty much nailed the feel I think you were going for. The music was nice, the visuals were nice (Except for the font, but maybe that's just me :/). Overall a good game, and overall a great Ludum Dare entry.

I love city building games, and I found your concept very interesting ! Like the others I didn't really understood the purpose of putting random tokens everywhere but this is definitely a good start :) Also the music is great and relaxing !

@juaxix Thanks, I'll reply in English because my written Spanish is pretty poor. Yeah, I'm working on a update to help people understand it better. However it's difficult finding time. The game does need to be balanced too. I think the change would be better than my stupid voice on a video. :)

Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/lcfUdhXZ_XQ

The web and linux links don't lead to web or linux versions... :(
