SOS Snake by Pyrofoux 2016-08-30T22:41:00

Man, this is a difficult game. I had to pause after each level. Biggest source of difficulty was the speed of the snake, especially on the level where you have to eat a path to the top. I kept getting sooooo close to clearing a path, only to accidentally make a jump too high.

Looks and sounds fantastic. I'm going to be hamming away at this for a while.

Definitely addictive. I thought it would get boring after the last upgrade, but the extra dive power makes it basically endless (with enough skill and luck).

I would love a leaderboard or an easier way to see your current best score. I think my best was 478. :)

Holy crap, great job on the look and sound. Gameplay is tight as well, though the difficulty might be a tad high.

What did you use to make this? The web version ran perfectly for me (Chrome on a Mac). Was the web export supported by whatever tool you used or did you have to figure out the emscripten part yourself?

I take back my difficulty comment - I think it's pretty well tuned. Excellent work overall. The only thing I'd change is the boss. :)

Love the art and the music. Also, I like that everything is a physics object - it forces me to be way more precise with my shots than I would usually be in a game like this.

Great idea! I'm amazed at how byzantine some of these instructions are... press function 1, 1, wait two seconds until the screen says "1. timer" and press stop!? wtf, how are these real manuals. The game does a great job of showing how absurd these things are.

I might be an idiot, but I'm not able to get through the first gate. I tried clicking on the lever, but nothing happened. :) I'm running Chrome on Mac OS.

From what I could play, I really liked it! I like that you kept the 3D nice and simple - the lighting model matches the low-fi textures and layout really well. These details, along with the low resolution shadows, give a really cohesive look. I also appreciate that you kept the simple movement of old school dungeon crawlers and added a nice tweened transition. It feels really crisp!

Ha, disregard my comment above about being stuck. I'm just bad at games!

farm defence by yoel1234 2016-08-30T16:37:00

Nice work! A little tricky to figure out at first but it quickly became pretty intense. The action escalated nicely and became pretty challenging after wave 25.

It would be nice if there was a little more feedback from the monsters, like which direction they will be attacking from and how much damage they are capable of taking. At the higher levels, it wasn't clear that my manual attacks were doing much damage at all. Also, the crossbows would seem to fire a ton at first, then stop. I wasn't sure if this was an ammo or reload issue or a glitch.

Fun and tough! It would be nice if there was a quick reset button (I miss a lot). I tried tilting my laptop during a few tense moments. :P
