i like very much the idea, and the music is perfect.

Awesome! Reminds me of Rock of Ages with the rolling mechanics, was very intriguing, keep it up.

hadik 2017-05-01 18:28

Original idea :)

Stress relieving game ^^ and I can learn cities names too ! xD Pretty fun game, but it's hard to make combo (or maybe I'm just bad ?). Good choice of music too, good job !

toonteamj 2017-05-01 19:19

Playing pinball on the Earth is actually quite fun. I'm not sure if you made the music, though. Perhaps you should opt out of the audio rating?

Very fun game, really enjoying myself destroying the world! An original take on the concept of destroying stuff, i see the potential in it. I do think the physics sometimes feel a bit off and there can be some improvements made in that area. The music does fit the game really well and helps add to the fun feeling of the game. Overall a good entry

Interesting concept, I found the camera changes to be a little jarring though. Maybe just keeping it zoomed out would've worked better. I like the list of places on the right that updates as you go through the game!

I had a hard time getting used to this game but it was satisfying nonetheless to hit a 3x or 4x combo. The controls needed something just a bit more precise, or a bit less friction on the moon vs the ground so it would roll further. I got stuck in the ocean for a good long while =)

Once I got to Europe though, it was game on! I wrecked that place!

gleb-mineev 2017-05-01 19:50

Fun concept, but the movement of the ball is somewhat unpredictable, and it feels like it is made of rubber, not of stone. And reading white names on the white background is not very comfortable. But destroying stuff is always cool =)

sararycow 2017-05-01 19:53

@ToonTeamJ do you see the audio opt? It is opted-out supposedly.

Thanks for your comments!

Couldn't REALLY tell how to make the ball move in the direction I wanted, but figuring out space was a jump lead to lots of fun. A leaderboard system and better controls would make this a great time-sink game!

huvaakoodia 2017-05-01 21:27

That GIF!

Funny idea and the music certainly elevates it to a new level..., but there is no challenge of any sort.

Well, I guess I can chalk it up to *experience* and be done with it. This is a funny and enjoyable short experience. Good work!

fran-segura 2017-05-01 21:57

This is an unique game and the kind of crazy idea that I really enjoy. I find the controls a bit hard to get used to (or more specifically the way the ball moves), but overall I think this is an interesting game that its definitely worth a try. Good work!

Nice game, the music really elevated it :D Destroying is fun and the theme is very clear. The ball moves a bit strangely, sometimes going more in reverse than the desired direction. The camera switch is a bit irritating, i think i lose sense of direction in it. Is there a way to turn it off? From gameplay perspective, the top view would give better feedback as how my shot turned out. The occasional action cam would be nice. Good work!

Very cathartic!

glitchy-pixel 2017-05-03 01:23

What can I say, this was a very ridiculous laugh out loud fun idea. My first stop was to destroy my city, then to destroy everything I could.

There were some problems in understanding shooting correctly (it seems that full power *sometimes*works and sometimes doesn't, not very sure about it. Also, sometimes the way the camera reset after a shoot kinda "swung around", and what I felt was the way I was going now was behind me. It was kinda weird.

And maybe the cities were way to small or maybe too similar to the background to notice them correctly.

And just a nitpick, but I would have loved that the game ended when the music did. Would have been amazing, like this grand finale and a final say "you destroy x cities".

However, It was a ton of fun and I really enjoyed it and laughed abut destroying random cities. Really nice!

mikolak 2017-05-16 18:34

My only gripe: consider ditching the camera switch on shot, it makes understanding the shot mechanics very confusing.

Otherwise: congrats on a great entry! Had a laugh, concept fits the theme to a T, the choice of background music is perfect!

megabrutal 2017-05-16 19:00

Yeah, die humanity! :D Very fun game! I wanted to destroy Budapest, but no matter how hard I tried to aim Central Europe, I just couldn't get the message that I finally hit it.

philomory 2017-05-19 17:50

This is pretty neat, and very funny. Also while of course you didn't write or perform the music, I give you full imaginary points for your _choice_ of music, it fits _really_ well and enhances the mood a lot.

The one places where it falls a bit flat, unfortunately, is the gameplay itself. This idea has a ton of potential, but it'd be a lot more fun if you were rolling over cities , bouncing off mountains, and leaving a trail of destruction in your wake; as it is, you generally bounce off the first city you hit and roll to a stop almost immediately, even if launched with full power. I'd adjust the physics so that the moon doesn't actually collide with the cities at all, it just bowls through them with a slight loss of velocity (and maybe occasionally a small direction change). Mountains should act as they do now, but volcanoes should act like pinball bumpers, bouncing you away with more velocity than you came in with.

Also, I totally agree with @glitchy-pixel, if the game ended with the end of the music, that'd be pretty sweet. You could get a score based on how much you managed to destroy during the time limit.

All i all, though it has some flaws, I think this idea has legs; I'd love to see a more polished version in the future!
