Relaxing and pretty satisfying to play! A lot better once I worked out that big pieces take longer to fall so it's better off making lots of small cuts to fill the void.

Relaxing and interesting!
It's beautiful. The mechanics of the cut seem very good to me♥
0/10, made me forget I had a Pizza in the oven.
Love the style though. And story. And music. Good match.
Well, that was the slowest I've ever read a poem :-). Very atmospheric, with neat visuals and a nice sense of animation and style. The percentages didn't make any sense to me until I eventually realized I was just looking for 20 pieces of any size, not a percent of the area. Music was tranquil and very nice. Happened to finish just as I did - not sure if that was designed, but a nice touch.
Cool experience! Nice graphics and very relaxing!
Pretty interesting idea and surprisingly nice to play. Well done.
Beautiful and relaxing. The music matches the game perfectly, makes it very inmersive. Also love the freedom it gives you, it's probably not the intention but since I like to draw I tried to cut silhouettes of characters or backgrounds while completing each level :) I took my time and it was even more relaxing!
@dob Sorry for being a little confusing at the beginning. (*/ω\*) Actually, both number and size are required to pass the level. It is it is encouraged to make more small cuts and discover what is behind progressively, rather than make a big cut. (Also the bigger parts take longer time to fall) I want players to slow down their pace and think more about what can be done by simply cutting the paper. It is like drawing in a way.
Anyway, it is not a must, the players are in control. Any play style is OK in this game. I'm glad to see that people have different play styles (like @yomissmar ). I expected this game to be with this kind of variety. Start with nothing then the players can create their own experience rather than follow the preset instructions.♥
It was fun to cut the paper to read the story, nice game!
Really beautiful, loved the music.
Very dreamy and extraordinary. Overall I agree with good direction of music, but for such visual style it sounds very robotic and rough. Don't understand me wrong, it is not bad at all, just together with very nice atmosphere it is the only cheapo midi impression that disbalances the entirety ♥
Wow, what a touching little game. I felt the paper-cutting got a little old, but the mood, music, and writing kept me around. I definitely got caught up in it. My only real criticism is that the fill percent felt a little arbitrary. I was never quite able to tell what filled it, as at some point I cut the entire sheet out in one go and got something like 20%. I had to restart at that point because there was nothing left to cut and I was stuck.
Overall though I'd say that's a fairly minor thing. This was a solid entry. Great work!
@onnofal I'm glad that you still enjoyed the melody despite the simple sounds of that. Actually I really lacked of preparation this time. It was my first time to take part in LD jam and I didn't even notice that there was a LD jam until it was only 18 hours before the jam ended (*/ω\*). Lucky that I managed to finish the game in time, though I didn't have time to polish those things else than the melody. I think I would do better next time. I might also rearrange the song and make it a post-jam version later. Thank you for pointing out anyway ♥
@morrilet Really sorry for that. I thought players might make a very big cut and there would always be paper on the edges and corners to cut. Well it is not true when you really cut the whole sheet out. Actually both size and number are required. This mechanic was intended to tell the players that cutting out big pieces is not encouraged (they also take longer time to fall). To quickly pass the levels one have to think about the strategy of cutting off multiple pieces in a single cut rather than just cutting out a big piece. So bad that this confused some players. I will think carefully about this kind of idea next time.
Really cute and relaxing game, great job !
As it's been said before me it's a very cute game. The animations are beautiful! I also enjoyed the music. As for the gameplay, it's a bit repetitive but relaxing. Next time, maybe you could go for something that would add some variety or challenge to it. Overall great job! Keep it up!
