Woah, super loud at the start! luckily I have my volume low otherwise I would have probably gone def :( Other than that the gameplay is challenging and fun, graphics are good, and the music afterwards sounds decent.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD29 → Soul Ninja

It is a fun game with nice music. I did not feel the hit was charged when released. Still fun to beat the souls with a big sword.
I think it's my first time to see a game with two game mods. Nice
Great game and really satisfying to jump around. Nice touch having an adventure and story mode.
MarsBar > I didn't realise the volume was so loud, in fact I don't see any problem with it atm but I can understand the first sound can surprise. Thanks for the comment !
Thorig > Yeah, I like big swords too. I added the damage text to make the charged hit feel more powerful, but I agree with you, I should have added an other sound or something like that.
StrykerKKD > Thank you, I felt that the two levels of the story mode were too short, and I liked the jump and sword feeling so I added this survival mode to have fun with it.
SecondDimension > Thank you ! I'm happy you found the jump satisfying, I really tried to achieve that.
The controls are a bit weird. It's an interesting game, and I could see this having tons of "trippy" stuff.
Sound is too loud and intro is not quite that expected for a platform game (but why not). Well done!
Quite a good game. Good atmosphere and music. Only thing I'd complain about is the jump mechanic which felt a bit restricting because you cannot contol your jump height.
Nice graphics.
Enjoyable platformer controls, though I didn't feel the slide worked as well as it could perhaps. Good entry though. :)
very cool ninja platfomer :)
Really liked the feel of the game before the first enemy appeared. Couldn't for the heck of it kill him. Just too hard an enemy for the beginning.
But the feel of the physics is really great. Not sure about the theme though, but would probabaly be more obvious later on, I guess.
This platformer has a really excellent sense of physics to it--a real heaviness that most slip-slidey platformers don't have, let alone those made in 72 hours. It was fun and felt good just to run around as the character. That said, that's where I found most of my enjoyment. The world was drab and fairly featureless, and since the zoom didn't cover the entire stage, I often found myself disoriented and struggling to figure out where to go next.
I've seen the world switching mechanic a lot of places--Guacamelee, Eversion, Giana Sisters, countless others--but this is the first time I've seen it with a time limit, which effectively controls the amount of time the player has to complete a particular platforming segment. This was a clever touch, and one which I think, if it were carefully designed to, could produce a very interesting and crafted experience.
Loved the graphics and the player movement, especially that auto wall-jump. Wish there were arrow-key controls!
Good job on this, although I was quite horrible since I don't play all that many platformers. Played the story mode almost exclusively zoomed out :P. Lovely climbing mechanic, although a bit slow. Didn't really like the combat but still tried the survival mode too, since you managed to include it!

Pretty cool. Wish there were alternative controls for the mouse clicks since it makes it extra challenging to play on a laptop without one.
Very cool platformer! I like the controls and how you worked with the camera
Hard to control on a non-qwerty layout.
